Judicial report: 1). Trainer J Tanner advised that CAWBOURNE DOZER had cooled down lame in its left wrist following an incident after the post at the Christchurch GRC's meeting on the 29th September 2016. 2). Trainers J Lane & R Wales were fined $100.00 for presenting OPAWA SLEDGE up 2.2kgs from it's last recorded weight. 3). MACHINE MAN (race 6) is now required to box first.

Race 2	Yaldhurst Hotel Stakes - C0 - 520	LUNIASTAR (1) - Inconvenienced prior to first bend. Contacted runner to its outside rounding first bend. OPAWA MINE (2) - Obliged off heels prior to the first bend and lost momentum. Checked off heels again rounding first bend. WAIMAK SHEFF (8) - Bumped outwards rounding first bend.
Race 3	Greyhounds As Pets Dash - C0 - 295	QUEEN A COOL (1) - Bumped with outside runner prior to the bend. Placed in restricted room entering bend and lost ground. ANDOLAS (2) - Slow to leave boxes. OHOKA ANGEL (4) - Bumped with outside runner prior to the bend. DOUBLE BREW (6) - Squeezed for room early stages. Found to have a sprained wrist with 14 day stand down imposed. GOLDSTAR PIPER (7) - Dragged down entering bend. Referred to vet - No injury detected. BELLE SOME (8) - Baulked at incident entering bend.
Race 4	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA SLEDGE (1) - Raced 2.2kgs up from last recorded weight. KIM'S MY NAME (2) - Bumped with outside runner early stages. Checked off heels rounding final bend. EPIC FORCE (3) - Bumped from inside runner early stages. CAIRO (5) - Squeezed entering bend. Checked off heels rounding final bend. HOMEBUSH STEAL (7) - Checked off heels entering bend. Struggled to maintain position with field down back straight and finished a distance from the winner. Referred to vet - No abnormalities found. Warning placed on performance.
Race 5	Barron's Supplies Maiden Sprint Final - C0f - 295	KNOW BIAS (1) - Made heavy contact with rail entering bend. Referred to vet - No injury detected. OHOKA BRAXTON (6) - Turned outwards rounding bend by inside runner and lost momentum. FEAR THE BEARD (7) - Awkwardly placed to the outside of runner rounding bend and lost ground.
Race 6	Fast Archer At Stud Sprint - C0 - 295	ROO BALOO (1) - Removed from boxes by order of Starter to be re-boxed due to vet check on another runner being carried out. BELLA JADE (2) - Squeezed for racing room entering bend and lost ground. MACHINE MAN (3) - Proved difficult to load - Flipped in boxes prior to closing lid and was subsequently removed from boxes. Declared late scratching on vets advice. Order to be boxed first for upcoming engagements. BIRDIE TEE (5) - Removed from boxes by order of Starter to be re-boxed due to vet check on another runner being carried out. Checked off heels rounding bend. STARRY BAXTER (6) - Slow to jump. SMASH DEMAND (7) - Removed from boxes by order of Starter to be re-boxed due to vet check on another runner being carried out. Raced wide rounding bend. OHOKA HUNTER (8) - Found to be lame following race with 7 day stand down imposed.
Race 7	Cheviot Trust Hotel Dash - C0 - 295	JINGA SNAG (1) - Checked early. MULBERRY THUNDER (2) - Racing room impeded early stages. FABRE'S LASS (3) - Racing room impeded early stages. Squeezed entering bend. Bumped with inside runner rounding bend. HOMEBUSH MYRA(4) - Checked early. Turned inwards by outside runner rounding bend. Race 8	Active Electrical Christchurch Sprint - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH EDGE (4) - Began awkwardly and settled back. Took no competitive part in the event. Performance noted. IDOL EVE (5) - Contacted from outside early stages. REALITY (7) - Boxed first. Began awkwardly and settle back. Awkwardly placed on heels exiting bend. SMASH BOMBER (8) - Came inwards early stages and contacted inside runner.
Race 9	Zebidiah At Stud Sprint - C2 - 295	STARBURST EMMA (2) - Bumped with outside runner early stages. GOD PARTICLE (3) - Boxed first. Bumped with inside runner early stages.
Race 10	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C2 - 520	THORACIC (1) - Came out entering bend and became awkwardly placed to the inside of runners before checking and falling to the track. Referred to the vet - No injury detected. ANOTHER LIZ (3) - Checked off heels entering first bend. REPLICA YELLA (4) - Forced down the track prior to the first bend then placed in restricted room and slightly checked entering bend. Contacted runner rounding first bend. CAPTIAN TUTTLE (5) - Forced down the track prior to the first bend then placed in restricted room and checked entering bend. Contacted runner rounding the first bend. OPAWA GRUNTER (6) - Forced down the track prior to the first bend then placed in restricted room entering bend. SPRING SAM (7) - Severely checked racing into the bend and lost chance. Referred to vet - No injury detected.
Race 11	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C2 - 295	CUPCAKE (1) - Forced down track in early stages. WOW MADONNA (2) -Contacted inside runner early stages. Lost ground rounding bend when placed in restricted room. ARCHIES DIJON (4) - Squeezed for racing room and had to check entering the bend. SLICK ACTION (5) - Lost ground rounding bend when placed in restricted room. GORDY JUNIOR (6) - Inconvenienced entering bend.
