KNOW MENTION (4) was tightened at the entrance to the back straight and shifted outwards pushing KNOW WORTH wider on the track. KNOW WORTH continued to cover extra ground for the remainder of the race. |
| Race 2 | Canterbury Timber And Hardware Dash - C4 - 295 | MAUDIE'S BABE (8) was a shade slow to jump. BREAKING MAD (4) and AIR EXPRESS (5) collided in the early stages. OPAWA LEAN MEAT (7) was trapped wide around the bend. JINJA LOCH (6) raced wide in the home straight. |

| Race 4 | Nick's Petfoods Stakes - C3 - 520 | OPAWA SAM (4) and ANOTHER MESSAGE (8) were the last pair on settling. JINJA JAFFA (5) got on the heels of KNOW SCHOLAR (3) into the first bend with both runners losing ground. JON SNOW LIVES (1) raced wide in the back straight. KNOW SCHOLAR covered extra ground over the concluding stages. OPAWA SAM was referred to the vet for assessment and found to have tied up with no stand down recommended. |
| Race 5 | Total Vets Clinic Dash - C5 - 295 | NO LEAF CLOVER (4) was last on settling as a result of MAGIC MIKE (3) shifting up the track. ANOTHER BELLE (2) was checked into the bend and lost ground. WHEELCHAIR NORM (7) ran outwards on the home turn checking DREAM LARGE (8) which lost momentum and ran inwards colliding with NO LEAF CLOVER which was forced to change ground outwards. TECHNIC (1) checked outwards off heels on the home turn losing ground. ANOTHER BELLE was cleared by the vet post race but DREAM LARGE tied up badly although no stand down was considered necessary. |

This runner was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury. RAND (1) lost ground on the bend with TIME SLAYER (6) held up for a few strides in consequence. |

CHARLIE RUNKEL (6) was tightened and ran inwards checking SOPOAGA (4) and KNOW STRUGGLE (10/3) with this pair being pushed down the track. GIGANAIRE (1) ran outwards in the back straight placing WEARS THE GOLD (5) in restricted room. OAKS HILL (7) angled inwards into the bend checking SOPOAGA which lost ground and was dragged down for a stride. CHARLIE RUNKEL and KNOW STRUGGLE were inconvenienced in this incident. KNOW HASSLE raced wide around the home turn. GIGANAIRE ran outwards on the home turn contacting WEARS THE GOLD for a stride. SOPOAGA was checked and cleared by the vet post race. |
| Race 10 | Garrard's Horse & Hound Canterbury Greyhound OTB Maiden - C0 - 520 | OPAWA DENISE (7) ran inwards at the start checking OPAWA ASH (6). OPAWA BRAD (5) ran inwards checking NEW BROOM (4) which settled last. OPAWA BRAD (5) and OPAWA DENISE collided in the early stages. BROKEN PENNILESS (1) ran outwards into the first bend inconveniencing OPAWA BRAD for a stride. LIGHT THAW (8) and OPAWA ASH raced wide around the first turn. OPAWA DENISE was denied racing room on the home turn. NEW BROOM was forced to check off heels early in the run home. |
| Race 11 | I Pave Concrete Stakes - C4/5 - 520 | This race was delayed by 3 minutes at the request of Raceday Control. BERRIDALE LAD (7) and OPAWA KEVIN (8) were the last pair from the traps. HOMEBUSH KELSO (4) was badly tightened into the first bend and dropped to the rear. SOUTHERN LIGHTS (3) was checked and ran outwards into the first bend with CHIPPA LATA (6), BERRIDALE LAD and OPAWA KEVIN all forced to race wide in consequence. BLACK CROW (5) was checked at the entrance to the back straight. At the end of the back straight LUMINARY (2) was badly tightened and checked outwards forcing SOUTHERN LIGHTS wider and contacting CHIPPA LATA. LUMINARY was checked and cleared by the vet post race. BLACK CROW suffered a knock to a hock with a 10 day stand down recommended. |
