| Race 1 | Trophies Plus Sprint - C0 - 318 | WONG WAY (7) stood in the boxes as the start was effected losing ground. ONE ANNA HALF (5) was slow away. OBSTINATUS (3) shifted out leaving the boxes inconveniencing LLOYD ATTACK (4). HANAO (2) shifted out racing down the back straight checking LLOYD ATTACK and making contact with GIRL CINA (6) for several strides with HANAO losing ground. GIRL CINA shifted in entering the first turn hampering WILLI GAS IT (1) which shifted out across this runners heels making contact with LLOYD ATTACK with both runners unbalanced losing ground. Also inconvenienced as a result were ONE ANNA HALF, HANAO and WONG WAY which had to steady and shift wider. |
| Race 2 | $10k Guaranteed Quaddie Sprint - C3 - 318 | GEE THUNDER (2) and TEE KAY YAPPER (3) were last to leave the boxes and were then further inconvenienced when UNILEVEN (4) shifted in with GEE THINDER taken in and tightened between UNILEVEN and SAVED BY LOVE (1) losing ground. KIT AND CABOODLE (7) shifted in soon after the start hampering SMASH ALLEGRO (6) and CYCLONE LUSI (5) with SMASH ALLEGRO then shifting in making solid contact with UNILEVEN with these runners making contact on several occasions inconveniencing SAVED BY LOVE and GEE THUNDER. SMASH ALLEGRO raced in restricted room for a distance rounding the final bend. |
| Race 3 | Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Stakes Series Final - C1 - 527 | OPAWA RICHIE (6) and GOLD CLASS (7) came together leaving the boxes with OPAWA RICHIE then shifting in onto CAWBOURNE WALES (5). OPAWA HARRY (2) and OPAWA PAUL (3) came together soon after the start and jostled for several strides. OPAWA PAUL, CAWBOURNE WALES and OPAWA RICHIE came together entering the first turn with OPAWA PAUL then getting on the heels of JELLY GEM (4) shifting out losing ground inconveniencing CAWBOURNE WALES, OPAWA RICHIE and BLOO BLOOMERS with these runners losing ground. OPAWA PAUL was inconvenienced and steadied off heels entering the back straight. |
| Race 4 | McGhie Plumbing Sprint - C1 - 318 | TUFF STAR (1), SHOT GUN HARRY (6) and ELECTRIC DEE EYE (7) were last to leave the boxes. TUFF STAR shifted out racing down the back straight becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of MALIGNED (5) for several strides shifting out losing ground. SHOT GUN HARRY and MALIGNED came together entering the first turn and were then further inconvenienced when GOLFING BUDDY (3) shifted out into the line of these runners with SHOT GUN HARRY getting on heels for a stride losing momentum. As a result TUFF STAR improved onto the heels of SHOT GUN HARRY with these runners briefly unbalanced with TUFF STAR then shifting out losing ground. LE ROI (4) raced in restricted room to the inside of HOWS YOUR MUM (8) rounding the bend with these runners then making brief contact entering the final straight. |
| Race 5 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C2 - 318 | The start of this event was delayed 1 minute at the request of TAB control. RAGING DEMON (3) and TYRION (8) were last to leave the boxes. EVA KANEVA (6) and AGENT SCHRADER (7) came together for several strides soon after the start. JUST AS GENTLE (2) and ATOONGA AIR (9) came together for a distance racing down he back straight with ATOONGA AIR losing ground and shifting out. JUST AS GENTLE was checked entering the first turn when SOMETIME SOON (4) shifted in into the line of this runner. TYRION raced wide throughout. ATOONGA AIR was referred to the veterinarian following this event with no abnormality detected. |
| Race 6 | Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C4 - 318 | ROCK LASS was scratching at 12.52pm on veterinary advice. WOBOURN ABBEY (1), MELMAN (5) and IDOL GEE (7) were last to leave the boxes with MELMAN and IDOL GEE coming together soon after. MELMAN shifted out off heels racing down the back straight. SOLARIAN (3) and IDOL GEE made solid contact entering the first turn with these runners both becoming unbalanced shifting in onto MACJAM (2) for a stride with SOLARIAN and IDOL GEE losing ground inconveniencing MELMAN. |
| Race 7 | Pump and Engineering Ltd Sprint - C1 - 318 | HERE WITHOUT YOU (6) and SNIGGLEPUSS (5) came together leaving the boxes with SNIGGLEPUSS then shifting in onto ON DEMAND (4) which was then checked when MISSING ALLEGRO (2) and MISS BUNNYTHORPE (3) shifted out into the line of this runner. SNIGGLEPUSS and STAINLESS KNOCKA came together for a distance racing toward the first turn. LITTLE KIWI (8) shifted in entering the first turn inconveniencing STAINLESS KNOCKA which had to shift out off this runners heels with LITTLE KIWI then making contact with the hindquarters of MISSING ALLEGRO. MISS BUNNYTHORPE and HERE WITHOUT YOU came together entering the first turn and continued to make contact for a distance rounding the bend losing ground. Rounding the first turn SNIGGLEPUSS shifted out off the heels of LITTLE KIWI making solid contact with STAINLESS KNOCKA which was hampered losing ground. Rounding the final bend SACRED CAN YOU (1) shifted out inconvenienced MISSING ALLEGRO and LITTLE KIWI which came together. MISSING ALLEGRO then shifted in inconveniencing SNIGGLEPUSS which shifted in into the line of ON DEMAND (4) which was briefly unbalanced. |
| Race 8 | Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527 | MONTANA (6) and MARY'S BAD BOY (7) came together soon after the start. JINJA MIA (1), BORIS (2) and MR. FUSS POT (3) came together for a distance racing toward the first turn with these runners unbalanced shifting out hampering MONTANA, MARY'S BAD BOY and PODIUM BONUS (8). THRILLING RYDER (5) shifted out across the heels of NANGAR GEM (4) entering the back straight losing ground. |
| Race 9 | Carol's TAB Clendon Inn Sprint - C4 - 318 | SONIC ATTACK (1) was slow away then further inconvenienced when LOVELY RITA (2) shifted in making contact with this runner. BAYMAX (4) and POWDER JACK (6) came together soon after the start with SONIC ATTACK then shifting out making contact with BAYMAX. WAERENGA STAR (3) made contact with the hindquarters of FANTASTIC LUCY (5) for several strides racing toward the first turn with WARENGA STAR losing ground making contact with LOVELY RITA (2) which came together with POWDER JACK (6) with these three runners jostling for several strides with LOVELY RITA and POWDER JACK then shifting wide. SONIC ATTACK and BAYMAX came together racing down the back straight and again entering the first turn with these runners becoming unbalanced losing ground. |
| Race 10 | Happy Birthday Carolle Roberts Stakes - C4/5 - 527 | MELHAM (6), KIMETTO (7) and FANTASTIC SID (8) came together soon after the start with MELHAM then shifting in inconveniencing JOE JOE (4). MELHAM, JOE JOE and RAMPION (9) came together losing ground entering the first turn with these runners shifting out, MELHAM and RAMPION contacting the hindquarters of FANTASTIC SID. ZIPPING LINK (3) shifted out off the heels of GLOBAL CONQUEST (5) rounding the first turn inconveniencing KIMETTO (7). |
| Race 11 | MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C4/5 - 318 | HAPPY WIFE (1), SUBIC BAY (2) and JUMP UP (6) were last to leave the boxes. BRITNEY STAR (5) and FABRELEE (7) came together and jostled for a distance racing toward the first turn. VON TRAPP (4) shifted out off heels entering the first turn making solid contact with FABRELEE with these runners losing ground with ZIPPING STEVE (8) then coming together with these runners. VON TRAPP, FABRELEE and ZIPPING STEVE then came together again rounding the first turn shifting out losing ground. |
| Race 12 | Hewlett Electrical Stakes - C3 - 527 | LOCHINVAR BROGUE (6) and THRILLING RIOT (5) were checked soon after the start when FANTASTIC AVA (7) shifted in. SHARELLA (4) and FANTASTIC AVA came together rounding the first turn. Entering the first turn MULTICAM RANGER (2) shifted out inconveniencing THRILLING RIOT and LOCHINVAR BROGUE which were taken wider. Entering the bend leaving the back straight MULTICAM RANGER got on the heels of LOCHINVAR BROGUE losing ground going back onto THRILLING RIOT which was checked. LOCHINVAR BROGUE then became uncomfortable in its action losing ground with a post race veterinary examination revealing cramp with a 7 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 13 | Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C2 - 318 | SCOTT TIED UP (1) was slow away. GO ANDWYN (7) and DRURY (8) came together on several occasions racing down the back straight and again entering the first turn with these runners shifting in with GO ANDWYN then getting on the heels of OPAWA LIBBY (4) for several strides with both runners unbalanced with GO ANDWYN shifting out again making contact with DRURY with these runners continuing to make contact rounding the bend and entering the final straight. |
