Track: Good The scales have been serviced and operated well throughout the kenneling process. The track was showing the signs of having been watered with the sprinkler system leading up to the meeting rather than by truck and this matter has been referred by the Stewards, to the Club Management for discussion. The meeting proceeded smoothly and concluded on time.

Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: SAMMY BAXTER was a late scratching from race 15 after escaping from the Handler and running some distance before being captured. The Stewards deemed the incident to have been accidental and no further action was necessary.

ORANGEY YELLOW (4) - checked and unbalanced first turn. UNBEKNOWN (5) - checked going into bend but recovered well to finish 3rd.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C2 Ht1 - C2q - 305 Heat 1	SNOW BALL CHANCE (1) - checked going into bend. ELITE DOSE (2) - checked going into the bend. OPAWA SPRINTER (3) - slow away from the start and stayed back throughout. JUST AS GENTLE (5) - checked and unbalanced into the bend. FEEL THE FORCE (9) - checked on the bend and stayed back at rear.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 Ht2 - C2q - 305 Heat 2	HOMEBUSH LUCIFER (4) - began awkwardly but recovered for 3rd place. CASUAL SLIPPER (5) - jostled for short distance in home straight. OPAWA SMOKE (8) - raced wide throughout covering extra ground. IF IT FITZ (9) - jostled for a short distance in home straight.
Race 6	METEOR OPD WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 305	ZIGGY ATTACK (2) - Tightened and checked after start and then checked to rear on first turn. UNTOUCHABLE (4) - Tightened and checked after start and again on first turn. UNO AGAIN (5) - crowded and checked soon after start but recovered to finish 3rd. ROCKY'S TO MUCH (6) - crowded and checked soon after the start.
Race 7	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 520	MOLLY O'SHEA (1) - slow to begin and settled back but made up ground for 2nd place. MOLLY O'SHEA checked off heels final stages. RIKKI'S REBEL (6) - checked back to rear going to first turn and stayed back.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	CONSUMATE EASE (3) - raced wide on bend and into home straight. ANOTHER KEY (5) - jostled after start and settled back. ALQUEZAR (7) - checked off heels going into bend and lost two lengths and stayed back.
Race 9	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C0D - C0d - 645	CAWBOURNE PANIC (2) - checked back to last going into 2nd bend and stayed back. MISS ELDORA (3) - checked back to rear soon after start. ZIPPING JOCK (4) - was slow away from boxes and stayed well back throughout.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520	BIG RED CHEV (5) - was tightened short distance after the start and shuffled back to rear. BIG RED CHEV - checked again entering back straight. SECRET AGENDA (6) - and SCOTT TO GO (7) - checked going into first corner and stayed at rear for remainder of the race.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	JOBS RITE (7) - was bumped and unbalanced on the bend and never recovered and finished last.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK 06 3456794 C1 - C1 - 305	PEEJAY PRINGLES (6) and SERVE YA PURPOSE (7) - checked from the start and settled back. OPEHU FLYER (9) - checked off heels going into bend, went back to rear and stayed there.
Race 13	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	TONGARIRO (3) - went off stride soon after the start, drifted and failed to finish. Assessed by Vet and found to have gracilis muscle pain. UNO MARCUS (9) - bumped by TONGARIRO after start and lost ground and stayed well back.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	GEEZ LOUISE (1) - checked losing two lengths first corner. BELFAST EEJIT (2), DECEPTIVE LAD (4) and PRIVATE ACTION (6) - all checked going into bend and stayed back to finish in last three places.
Race 15	KEENAN CONCRETE WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	KINETIC ASSASIN (4) - forced wide over extra ground on the bend. TRENDY VIV (8) - was checked going into the bend, went back to rear and stayed there for the remainder.
