Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 520	CAWBOURNE TODDY (1) and CAWBOURNE MUZZA (7) collided on the first corner and GOLDEN PIXEL (5) and KNEAD YOU (8) were also affected in the incident and they all lost ground and finished in the last four places.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C2 - C2 - 305	MR.MAIZE (6) and BELFAST SMARTY (7) bumped at the start and settled back. BELFAST SMARTY raced wide on the bend over extra ground and finished in last place.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305	BELFAST EEJIT (1), MAP MY RUN (2) and KAY MARTING (3) were tightened and checked going into and around the bend and they went back to the rear and stayed there for the remainder of the race.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1 - C1 - 520	MOLLY O'SHEA (4) was checked when the start was made and settled back. SCOTT TO GO (5) and CHAI LATTE (6) bumped and were unbalanced going into the first bend. A short distance further on, OPAWA SPICE (3) was checked and fell but regained her feet to finish onto the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment. She was found to have pain in the shoulder muscles.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C0 Ht1 - C0q - 305 Heat 1	IMA LUCKY ZARR was up in weight by 1.5 kilograms and this was intentional. TRICK ME VARA (3) began awkwardly losing several lengths and stayed back throughout. BIGTIME SAM (5) and CALA D'OR (8) bumped and lost ground going into the bend. GUNNAR BLUEBLOOD (7) raced wide over extra ground and finished near the rear.
Race 6	METEOR OPD CO Ht2 - C0q - 305 Heat 2	BEN NEVIS KNIGHT (1) and HOMEBUSH FREDA (4) jostled together for a short distance going into the bend and checked back to the rear where they stayed for the remainder.
Race 7	AON CPF C0 Ht3 - C0q - 305 Heat 3	ACT NATURALLY (4) and WONG WAY (5) were slow to be begin losing two lengths and WONG WAY then raced a little wide on the bend and stayed back to finish last.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520	IZZY BOWEN (1) began awkwardly and settled back and she then raced a little wide throughout covering extra ground and finished in 2nd last place.
Race 9	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 SEMI FINAL 1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	BUSTER BOY (4) and DARK GARNAH (3) bumped soon after the start and BUSTER BOY then went off stride and drifted back to eventually finish a distant last and was referred to the vet for assessment. BUSTER BOY was found to have a gracilis muscle injury.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C1 SEMI FINAL 2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	SLICK STAR (4) was bumped on two occasions in the early stages and she dropped back to near the rear and never recovered the lost ground. PEEJAY PRINGLES (1) and RANGER'S WALTZ (7) began awkwardly losing two lengths. MISSING ALLEGRO (8) was found to have a quick injury and was stood down for five days.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 SEMI FINAL 3 - C1q - 305 Heat 3	JUST AS GENTLE (8) shifted in going into the bend and checked KIRKHAM HARVEY (5) and KAYLAH BLUEBLOOD (7) which both lost ground. REPEAT VISIT (6) galloped on the back of SCOTTA PIE (9) going into the bend and they both lost ground and finished in the last two places.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 SEMI FINAL 4 - C1q - 305 Heat 4	OPAWA SMOKE (3) and EBONY FANCY (6) were awkwardly positioned in restricted room going into the bend and they checked and went back to the rear where they stayed for the remainder.
Race 13	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	ANOTHER CHARM (3) was the slowest away from the boxes and she then raced a little wide on the bend and finished in last place. THRILLING MIA (5), JOBS RITE (6) and CONSUMATE EASE (9) came together soon after the start and they jostled for a short distance and settled at the rear.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	RAIN AND TEARS (8) was very slow to begin losing five lengths but she recovered quickly and after securing an inside run, she went on to win the race.
Race 15	KEENAN CONCRETE C1 - C1 - 305	MALIGNED (9) was down in weight by 1.4 kilograms and this was intentional. APATCHE AJAY (5) was checked soon after the start and settled back. TRENDY VIV (1) and GOODTIME ALANNAH (6) both shifted ground soon after the start and caused tightening and checks to CAWBOURNE MORRIS (2) and SERVE YA PURPOSE (3).
