Track: Good After a heavy frost this morning the Track was worked up rolled and matted back to give a very good racing surface through out the meeting. All other equipment operated well .
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: MISS TAKAMORI ( B Goldsack ) and IMA LUCKY ZARR ( A Turnwald ) both completed satisfactory trials and are now cleared to race.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	BUDDY BAXTER ( 5 ) stood when the lids lifted missing the start by 5 or so lengths. CYNDI ACTION ( 7 ) ran in sharply from the jump across the face of LISSADELL MARCUS and bumping in to EBONY HAZE ( 4 ) . LOVER ( 3 ) fav ) crossed to the rail in to the first bend checking ORANGEY YELLOW ( 2 ) back on to BIGTIME SAME ( 1 ) . LISSADELL MARCUS angled across from the centre of the track racing in to the first bend catching the heels of EBONY HAZE and going off balance . LISSADELL MARCUS raced awkwardly across the top bend finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 - C1 - 520	CHAI LATTE ( 3 ) ran on to the hind of SCOTT SOME TICKA ( 2 ) as they raced around the bend on the first occasion. CHAI LATTE went back several lengths and was unable to get in to contention there after. SCOTT SOME TICKA was hampered when racing in tight quarters across the top bend losing ground finishing in 5th placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING C2 - C2 - 305	GOOD GENES ( 3 ) began awkwardly for a stride or so. BELFAST SMARTY ( 2 ) attempted to push outwards racing in to the first bend as ELITE DOSE ( 1 ) also tried to keep her ground , these runners were tightened inwards as GOOD GENES was forced in on to them as BIGTIME MOOLA ( 8 ) angled across on to TRENDY VIV ( 4 ) pushing this runner inwards. BELFAST SMARTY ran out of room and fell , SERVE YA PURPOSE ( 6 ) galloped over the fallen runner with OPAWA SPRINTER ( 5 ) going inwards making contact with the rail. BELFAST SMARTY recovered quickly to her paws to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. OPAWA SPRINTER and SERVE YA PURPOSE were referred to the vet for assessment. SERVE YA PURPOSE was found to have no abnormalities . OPAWA SPRINTER was found to have pain over the right shoulder & left hip support a 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305	CAWBOURNE WEB ( 9 ) ran in from the start coming together with OPAWA MAF ( 4 ). MIGHTY MAC ( 8 ) angled in on to ANOTHER COVER ( 6 ) racing in to the first bend hampering this runner for several strides, both runners ran wide losing ground finishing in the rear at the line. GRAND ALLEGRO was referred to the vet at the trainers request and was found to have pain over the left deltoid muscle area a 5 day stand down was recommended.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520	OPAWA SHILOH ( 5 ) fav ) in the run past the post on the first occasion was tightened and checked back from between OPAWA BUCKS ( 4 ) and BUSINESS REVIEW ( 6 ). OPAWA BUCKS also was checked at this point as BUSINESS REVIEW angled in further. OPAWA SHILOH when attempting to improve in the run in to the far bend was forced to check off heels again losing momentum finishing on in to 5th placing at the line. OPAWA GAIL ( 9 ) raced widest throughout covering a fair amount of extra ground finishing in the rear at the line. OPAWA BUCKS was referred to the vet at the Trainers request and was found to have pain over the left hip muscle area a 7 day stand down was recommended.
Race 6	METEOR OPD WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 305	GEEZ LOUISE ( 10 ) from box 1 was away well vying for the lead to the first bend where she checked out over the heels of GRACE SLICK ( 5 ) , GEEZ LOUISE ran out bumping GHOSTFACE ( 7 ) widest in to the bend. GEEZ LOUISE continued to race wide there after finishing in to 5th placing at the line.
Race 7	AON CPF C0 - C0 - 520	RUN TINY RUN ( 6 ) ran out sharply from the jump bumping in to CLASSY DELTA ( 8 ) KNEAD YOU ( 7 ) fav ) ran in bumping in to FASHION'S FANCY ( 9 ) as CLASSY DELTA angled across with COOL RYTHAM ( 2 ) running outwards pushing KING CORMACK ( 4 ) out on to CLASSY DELTA jostling and checking these runners. RUN TINY RUN ran in through midfield in the run in to the bend on the first occasion checking MAKING IT UP ( 1 ) who checked outwards for a stride resulting in KING CORMACK checking outwards . FASHION'S FANCY towards the rear ran out sharply across the face of CLASSY DELTA as RUN TINY RUN ran outwards sharply checking KING CORMACK and KNEAD YOU forcing this runner widest in the run to the back straight. KNEAD YOU lost a fair amount of ground at this point finishing on in to 5th placing at the line. RUN TINY RUN faltered going off stride racing in to the back straight t finishing on to the lure some distance back and was referred to the vet for assessment found to have a triceps muscle injury to the right side a 21 day stand down was recommended.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 Ht1 - C1q - 305 Heat 1	This race was delayed 2 minutes at the request of race Day Control. BOTANY VIKKI ( 6 ) angled inwards in the run to the first bend pushing ALLEGRO STYLE ( 4 ) in on to SMART DANDY ( 10 ) resulting in these runners being severely tightened and checked back to a clear last in the running and they were unable to get back in to contention there after. PEEJAY PRINGLES ( 7 ) was checked in to the first bend when having to check off the heels of KIRKHAM HARVEY ( 5 ).
Race 9	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 Ht2 - C1q - 305 Heat 2	CRIKEY was 2 kgs down in weight today this being an intentional decrease by the Turnwald kennels and was vetted clear to start. CRYSTAL MCBELL ( 8 ) SCOTTA PIE ( 7 ) and CRIKEY ( 6 ( all came together on racing away from the boxes. PREMIER PRINCE ( 4 ) ran outwards soon after the start bumping in to CRIKEY. RAIN AND TEARS ( 3 ) fav ) was tightened and jostled for some distance between TONGARIRO ( 1 ) and MISSING ALLEGRO ( 5 ) in the run to and in to the first bend. RAIN AND TEARS after being jostled back towards the rear was unable to get back in to contention there after finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C1 Ht3 - C1q - 305 Heat 3	LAGOON MAC ( 2 ) was tightened and checked stumbling for a stride or so as VEE VEERY LOVELY ( 4 ) angled across to the rail. LAGOON MAC lost momentum back to the rear and was unable to improve there after and was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have pain over the right triceps a 7 days stand down was recommended STENSON ( 3 ) was also tightened and checked as LAGOON MAC came back on him. STENSON made ground there after in to 4th placing at the line.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA CI Ht4 - C1q - 305 Heat 4	CONSUMATE EASE ( 6 ) racing in to the first bend angled across pushing LIP IT UP ( 5 ) in on to the heels of RUA RAMA ( 3 ). RUA RAMA and LIP IT UP both lost ground and were unable to get back in to contention there after. CONSUMATE EASE ran wide there after covering a fair amount of extra ground appearing to be uncomfortable in his galloping action in the run to the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 Ht5 - C1q - 305 Heat 5	PRINCELY MONEY ( 2 ) ran on to the heels of CHAOS THEORY ( 5 ) racing in to the first bend ,PRINCELY MONEY went back on to ALAMEIN DUKE ( 4 ) both runners losing momentum. PRINCELY MONEY made ground back in to 5th placing at the line. ALAMEIN DUKE was unable to get back in to contention finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 13	J P PRINT PETONE CI Ht6 - C1q - 305 Heat 6	EBONY FANCY ( 2 ) ran outwards from the boxes bumping ALLEGRO POWER ( 4 ) who ran inwards across heels of KAYLAH BLUEBLOOD ( 9 ) FEEL THE FORCE ( 8 ) and WINEVARA ( 7 ) came together jostling for a couple of strides in the run in to the first bend.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION C1 Ht7 - C1q - 305 Heat 7	KIRKHAM STYLE ( 5 ) fav ) missed the jump by 3 or so lengths then ran to outwards racing widest there after finishing strongly for 3rd placing at the line. OPAWA SMOKE ( 8 ) began well raced to a clear lead in to the bend and was never headed there after. BELFAST BARRY ( 7 ) was tightened in to the first bend having to check out over heels hampering KIRKHAM STYLE for a couple of strides. BELFAST BARRY was referred to the vet at the Trainers request and was found to have a torn claw d4 on the left hind a 14 day stand down was recommended.
Race 15	KEENAN CONCRETE C1 Ht8 - C1q - 305 Heat 8	JOHNNY ANGEL ( 8 ) led from the jump to the home turn where when weakening he was bumped and jostled going back off heels finishing towards the rear at the line. SEDGEBROOK ASSET ( 4 ) was jostled in the early stages for a couple of strides then ran wide in to and across the top bend racing widest in to the home straight and down to the line. IDOL MARK ( 3 ) and DARK GARNAH ( 5 ) were slowest away bumping soon after. IDOL MARK and DARK GARNAH came together bumping when in the rear racing in to the first bend. DARK GARNAH soon after angled down to the rail making good ground to finish best in the run home to win.
