Track: Good After a lot of rain leading up to today's meeting and showers throughout the day the track was well presented and groomed. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: S Gommans kennels were fined $50-00 rule ( 68.6 ) under the minor infringement rules after being late to kennel FEEL THE FORCE for race 7.
The Stewards carried out 2 track inspections later in the meeting as a precaution after concerns from a Trainer.
The Track was found to be well groomed and presented a safe surface for racing.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL CO - C0 - 305	MISSING ALLEGRO early in the run home appeared to turn her head inwards towards CYNDI ACTION momentarily after appearing to be unbalanced for a stride or so as she straightened for the run home finishing on best in the run to the line. After viewing the head on film of the run to the line the film was inconclusive with the connections being shown the film with no further action warranted on this occasion. MISSING ALLEGRO was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have pain in the right hind calf muscle a 5 day stand down was recommended. PICKERING ( 1 ) began awkwardly for a stride or so.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 305	BIGTIME SAM ( 6 ) ( fav ) in the run to the first bend angled across tightening LISSADELL MARCUS ( 5 ) in on to MISS MUFFET ( 4 ) and GULLY SCREAMER( 2 ) severely hampering these runners who lost momentum and several lengths GULLY SCREAMER racing on to the top bend checked across heels bumping BIGTIME SAM out on to EBONY HAZE ( 8 ) and across the face of MISS MUFFET who ran widest losing ground. BIGTIME SAM after striking trouble in the early stages recovered good ground in to 5th placing at the line.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING WANGANUI C0 FEATURE - C0 - 520	THRILLING SURGE ( 8 ) Fav ) in the run to the bend on the first occasion angled in across the face of MAGIC LATTE ( 6 ) causing this runner to be checked and fall. MAGIC LATTE was recovered quickly to her paws to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have generalized muscle soreness a 7 day stand down was recommended. BANSHEE REEL ( 4 ) ran outwards from the jump in the run to the first bend hampering GOLDEN PIXEL( 5 ) for some distance before BANSHEE REBEL was bumped and ran inwards as the field raced in to the bend on the first occasion. GUNNAR BLUEBLOOD ( 3 ) ran on to the heels of BANSHEEE REEL ( 4 ) racing around the first bend checking back and out on to GOLDEN PIXEL ( 5 ) in behind CHILL MORE ( 1 ) came outwards bumping KING CORMACK ( 9 ).
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 305	BEE LIKE ME ( 3 ) dwelt slightly and was bumped by FILL YA BOOTS ( 2 ). BEE LIKE ME ran outwards coming together with CAWBOURNE LYNS ( 6 ) for a stride or so.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	ALQUEZAR ( 7 ) ran in approaching the first bend bumping with PIXIE DUST ( 6 )and CHAOS THEORY ( 3 ) NANA'S GIRL ( 8 ) was forced to race widest in to and across the top bend when attempting to improve around runners.
Race 6	METEOR OPD WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	This race was delayed 1 minute at the request of Race Day Control. BOTANY VIKKI ( 8 ) angled inwards racing in to the first bend tightening LURE ME IN ( 4 ) across the face of GOODTIME ALLANAH (3 )and POLLY CRACKER ( 1 ) checking these runners back. MISS BUNNYTHORPE ( 7 ) caught the heels of BONTANY VIKKI as they raced on to the first bend both dogs lost ground.
Race 7	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 305	CAWBOURNE GUNNA ( 2 ) Fav ) was only fairly away in the early stages, she was able to improve her position in to the first bend and was never headed there after. FEEL THE FORCE ( 6 ) was awkwardly away soon after angled across catching the heels of SCOTTA PIE ( 5 ) and in across the face of CHIEF BAXTER ( 1 ) checking this runner back to the rear. NOT LISTENING ( 8 ) wide out angled inwards on to SWIRLING EDDIE( 7 ), SCOTT THE LOOKS( 4 ) and TONGARIRO ( 3 ) checking these runners as they raced in to the bend.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 Ht1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1	CELESTIAL ACTION ( 6 ) tightened in on to GLAD'S APOPPING ( 4 ) racing to the bend on the first occasion. CELEASTIAL ACTION went back a length or so on to RED HOT ACTION ( 7 ) who angled out across heels becoming unbalanced as the field raced around the bend to the back straight. RED HOT ACTION soon after drifted back finishing on to the lure in last placing and was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have suffered a tarsal bone injury to the right hind a 42 day stand down was recommended.
Race 9	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 Ht2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2	BLACK SAILS ( 7 ) ran inwards from the start pushing CULVIE DEN ( 6 ) in to OPAWA GAIL ( 4 ) . BUSINESS REVIEW ( 5 ) in behind these runners was checked back along with CULVIE DEN. BLACK SAILS ran wide in to the bend on the first occasion and soon after lost ground to a clear last in the running finishing on to the lure some distance back. BLACK SAILS was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have a torn gracilis muscle to the right hind a 28 day stand down was recommended.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C1 Ht3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3	WHATA SHEMOZZLE ( 3 ) was tightened in to the first bend going back on to and checking CAWBOURNE GABLE ( 5 ) as FILANTE ( 8 ) and LEKTRA SPIDER ( 7 ) angled across towards the rail. WHATA SHEMOZZLE soon after ran outwards across heels on to CAWBOURNE GABLE both runners racing wide losing several lengths and were unable to get back in to contention.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 Ht4 - C1q - 520 Heat 4	KING'S CALL ( 6 ) was checked soon after start as SCOTT SOME TICKA ( 7 ) raced across. KING'S CALL recovered to improve wide in to and around the bend on the first occasion racing up to vie for the lead after covering a fair amount of extra ground was run down late in the run home finishing in 2nd placing at the line. SLICK STAR ( 1 ) fav ) was tightened on to heels in the run around the bend on the first occasion checking back off heels going back towards the rear where SLICK STAR caught heels again racing in to the far bend as CAWBOURNE MERL ( 3 ) crossed to the rail. SLICK STAR lost several lengths at this point and was unable to improve there after.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	THAT'S A WRAP ( 5 ) faltered in the run to the first bend tailing off finishing on to the lure some distance back. THAT'S A WRAP was referred to the vet and was found to have an injury to the triceps muscle on the off fore a 28 day stand down was recommended. SNOW BALL CHANCE ( 4 ) ran outwards from the start hampering LIP IT UP ( 6 ) TRENDY BLASTER ( 7 ) and VEE VEERY LOVELY( 8 ) for a couple of strides. TRENDY BLASTER was forced to race widest across the top bend covering extra ground when attempting to improve her position.
Race 13	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	MARY BLUE BLOOD ( 6 ) was slow away. CHAIR UP ( 2 ) caught heels losing momentum racing in to the first bend as RANGER'S WALTZ ( 4 ) angled in towards the rail, CHAIR UP came out on to SPEARMINT JUJU ( 3 ) resulting in MOCHA CHINO ( 5 ) coming out with MARY BLUE BLOOD ( 6 ) running on to her heels going back on to CANDY CRUSHER ( 8 ) these two runners tangled and jostled for some strides running out wide. MARY BLUE BLOOD and CANDY CRUSHER lost a fair amount of ground and although recovered to chase hard were unable to get back in to contention.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	KIRKHAM JASPER ( 7 ) began awkwardly for a stride or so. PRINCELY MONEY ( 2 ) was pushed and jostled for some strides in the run to the first bend as KIRKHAM JASPER pushed inwards
Race 15	KEENAN CONCRETE C1 - C1 - 305	BUSTER BOY ( 2 ) in the run to the first bend was tightened and checked back as ROSCO ACTION ( 3 ) improved past on his outer . TEEVEE KITTY ( 5 ) vying for the lead in to the first bend ran wide forcing KIRKHAM KYLIE ( 8 ) to cover a fair amount of extra ground around the bend in to the home straight. KIRKHAM HARVEY once balanced up finished strongly in the run to the line to finish in to 3rd placing. TEEVEE KITTY drifted back in the run home and appeared to be uncomfortable in her galloping action and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
