In the run to the turn SHAKTI ran outwards severely checking STARRY BAXTER (6) with the trailing LOCKY BAXTER (7) and UNO JASON (8) also receiving checks. Into the turn CAMILA BAXTER (3) brushed the running rail and lost momentum, whilst STARRY BAXTER checked outwards off the heels of SHAKTI and checked the running of LOCKY BAXTER who went wide on the track. |

Into the turn KIWI BAXTER (7) crossed over and forced MY HOKI (2) to check outwards off heels checking the trailing TODD BLUE BLOOD and HOMEBUSH SCRIBE (3). On the turn TODD BLUE BLOOD shifted ground outwards checking the trailing HOMEBUSH EVIE (9/8) who became unbalanced and went back on the top of IDOL EVE with both dogs losing all chance. TODD BLUE BLOOD continued to shift ground outwards dictating KOPUTARA (4) wide on the track. |
| Race 3 | Green Island Barber Stakes - C0 - 545 | In the run to the first turn OPAWA JIMBO (4) shifted ground inwards bumping SERGIO DESTROYER (3) who lost momentum. Into the first turn OPAWA RACER (5) ran inwards and became unbalanced when clipping the heels of SERGIO DESTROYER. In the back straight OPAWA ASH (7) and ROOKIE RACER (10/8) ran very wide losing ground. |

| Race 6 | Happy Birthday "Yarnie" Stakes - C1 - 545 | SHIFT THE BLAME (5) and HANNAH RHIANNON (6) were slow to jump. From the jump LAGOON ALLIRA (2) ran sharply outwards checking OPAWA BRAD (3) and HERITAGE WATCH (4). Into the first turn LAGOON ALLIRA shifted outwards checking FRECKLE FLYER (9/7) and the trailing HANNAH RHIANNON. On the first turn SHIFT THE BLAME ran wide and bumped heavily with HANNAH RHIANNON with both dogs going very wide on the track and losing all chance. In the back straight HERITAGE WATCH checked outwards off the heels of LAGOON ALLIRA and ran wide. |
| Race 7 | St Kilda Veterinary Centre Stakes - C1/2 - 545 | LAGOON MYTYE (2) bounded at the jump losing ground. From the jump HOMEBUSH HOWARD (5) ran inwards checking PIANISSIMO (4) and GOODBYE PORKPIE (3) who then became unbalanced and shifted sharply inwards checking LAGOON MYTYE. In the back and home straights PIANISSIMO ran wide. |
| Race 8 | Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C2 - 310 | HIS NIBS (9/3) proved difficult to box for a new handler, and trainer J.Allen advised that the greyhound had not proved difficult in the past to box, with Stewards advising that any further difficulty would result in the greyhound being placed on the Box First list. LOTS OF BEERSIES (1) and BRONSON JEWEL (6) were slow to jump. From the jump SAN SEBASTIAN (8) ran sharply inwards checking HOLLY BLUE BLOOD (7) who was dictated inwards further checking ANOTHER JAMIE (5) and WEARS THE GOLD (4). Into the turn ANOTHER SPIN (2) checked outwards off the heels of HIS NIBS (9/3) and collided with HOLLY BLUE BLOOD who became unbalanced and checked the trailing BRONSON JEWEL. |

From the jump CHICAGO BLACK (8) ran inwards checking CLEVER SAGE (7) and HOMEBUSH ROCKY (6). In the run to the turn CHICAGO BLACK continued to run inwards and struck OPAWA VAL (5) who became unbalanced and lost ground.
