| Race 1 | Otago GRC Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310 | Into the turn DAN BLUE BLOOD (2) checked outwards off the heels of SEEKING BAXTER (4) checking the trailing IDOL EVE (3) and dictating ESKIMO CHILL (6) wide on the bend. As IDOL EVE lost ground UNO JASON (1) was also checked and lost several lengths. |
| Race 2 | www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 310 | HANNAH RHIANNON (3) was very slow to jump and lost several lengths. In the run to the turn TROUBLESOME BRIT (4) ran inwards dictating HOMEBUSH SHANE (2) inwards with THRILLING SHRIMP (1) tightened and losing ground. The trailing HANNAH RHIANNON clipped the rear of THRILLING SHRIMP and became unbalanced, before then striking the rear of GLORY HOG (7) and falling. GLORY HOG lost ground as a result and HANNAH RHIANNON regained her feet to finish the race a distant last. After the race HANNAH RHIANNON was subject to a veterinary check which revealed no injuries sustained. |

In the run to the first turn SOUTHERN HONEY pushed outwards checking LUCIASTAR who became unbalanced and lost ground. On the first turn SOUTHERN HONEY ran outwards and dictated LIGHT THAW (5) and WAIMAK SHEFF (7) wide on the track with all three runners losing ground. |

At the end of the back straight OPAWA FAITH (5) faltered in his stride and lost ground to finish a long last. OPAWA FAITH was subject to a veterinary check which revealed a sore right hind thigh muscle with a 14 day stand down recommended. |
