CAWBOURNE NATH checked off the back of UNO AGAIN (4) on the bend and shifted out making contact with CAWBOURNE LYNS (7) and they stayed back to finish in the rear group. |

MAGIC LATTE (4) was bumped going to the first corner when KNEAD YOU (2) shifted out and she lost two lengths. NOONOO shifted out on the home turn and bumped MAGIC LATTE which was briefly unbalanced. |

| Race 5 | Buck Fever At Stud C5 - C5 - 375 | ALLEGRO TOUCH (4) shifted in abruptly from the start and hampered PURE LEE (3), DOCKER (2) and SHEER MISS (1) and they all lost ground. SHEER MISS angled out on the bend and forced CAWBOURNE MIDGET wide into the home straight. |

| Race 10 | Manawatu Harness Racing C3 - C3 - 457 | One of the favourites CAWBURNE ESKI (4) got back in the run to the first corner and then raced a little wide but showed no fight in the final part and finished last. CAWBOURNE ESKI was referred to the Vet for assessment as a precaution and found to have pain in tricep, pectoral and gracilis muscles. |
| Race 11 | Preston's Master Butchers C2 - C2 - 457 | ALLEGRO BEATY (6) shifted in from the start and inconvenienced SWIFTLY CHLOE (4) and KIRKHAM COBY (5) for a short distance. ALLEGRO BEATY continued to shift in and crowded CAWBOURNE JAZZY (3) and FOX IN BOX (1) with FOX IN BOX resisting the pressure and ALLEGRO BEATY was checked. SWIFTLY CHLOE and KIRKHAM COBY bumped and lost ground going into the bend. |
