Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: Trainer M Lozell was fined $100 under Rule 69.11 for presenting ALEX ATTACK (Race 2) down 1.9kg in weight from its previous start on 14/07/16.
Trainer L Ahern's runners were late being presented for kennelling due to being held up en route to the course following the closure of the Desert Road.

Race 1	Carol's TAB Clendon Inn Sprint - C2/3 - 318	The start was delayed by 1 minute at the request of the TAB. NIPPO (8) went up with the lids and was slow early. SAVED BY LOVE (3) stumbled on jumping and contacted GROWLER JET (4) before shifting inwards onto WHEELIE CHILLIE (2) which was momentarily unbalanced. SAVED BY LOVE then shifted outwards bumping GROWLER JET for several strides. THRILLING WIGGLE (1) had to check off the back of NO MORE DEBT (5) entering the turn when that runner crossed down to the rail and then shifted out making solid contact with PAT NOT PLAIT (6), which resulted in THRILLING WIGGLE being turned sideways in front of NIPPO before being brought down. PAT NOT PLAIT and NIPPO were both badly checked in this incident. THRILLING WIGGLE underwent a veterinary examination following this event which revealed a sore left deep pectoral muscle with a 10 day stand down imposed. ANIU (7) also underwent a post race Veterinary examination and was found to have torn its right gracilis muscle with a 42 day stand down imposed.
Race 2	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C0 - 318	MINI BIKE (4) went up with the lids losing considerable ground. ALEX ATTACK (8) was slow early. MISSING ALLEGRO (2) and TEN FEET TALL (5) came together briefly over the early stages. TEN FEET TALL shifted in approaching the bend forcing AMAZING CONTACT (3) down onto ZIGGY ATTACK (9 - Box 1) with these three runners all losing ground. MISS SHELLAC (6) lost ground rounding the bend when BLOOMINGDALES (7) shifted in with ALEX ATTACK then having to check off the back of MISS SHELLAC. MINI BIKE galloped onto the hindquarters of TEN FEET TALL approaching the home turn and shifted out checking ALEX ATTACK. TEN FEET TALL and ALEX ATTACK came together briefly on straightening for the run home.
Race 3	Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C1 - 318	UNILEVEN (2) and FORMATION (3) came together for a stride shortly after the start. DRURY (5) shifted in early forcing FORMATION down onto UNILEVEN for some strides. FORMATION then attempted to improve to the inside of DRURY approaching the turn badly checking UNILEVEN, which fell, with PODIUM BONUS (1) being badly checked. MOCHA CHINO (6) shifted out entering the turn when checking off the back of GO ANDWYN (7) and contacted ON DEMAND (9 - Box 4) which shifted out onto ATOMIC RUSH(8). UNILEVEN was referred to the Vet for assessment which revealed no abnormality.
Race 4	Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527	MONTANA (8) shifted in shortly after the start bumping EM HOLLAND (7) which contacted JINJA MIA (6) for a stride, with JINJA MIA shifting down onto OPAWA LEANNA (5) and ZIPPING LINK (4) briefly. ZIPPING LINK (4) shifted in entering the first turn forcing APRIL'S MY MUM (2) down onto OPAWA PAUL (1), which were both checked, with EM HOLLAND and MONTANA being hampered for some strides.
Race 5	MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C2/3 - 318	RED RASCAL (3) and LET'S GO SPRITE (4) came together for several strides shortly after jumping. SCREAMING SKULL (5) and LOVELY RITA (6) jostled for some strides over the early stages. CYCLONE LUSI (7) shifted in entering the turn hampering LOVELY RITA, with RED RASCAL checking off the back of LOVELY RITA and shifting out checking SCREAMING SKULL.
Race 6	Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint - C2 - 318	The start was delayed for several minutes due to a heavy shower. ELECTRIC DEE EYE (7) was slow to jump. ELECTRIC DEE EYE shifted out entering the turn when having to check off the back of SACRED CAN YOU (9). MULTICHASER (5) and SACRED CAN YOU came together rounding the turn with both runners losing ground. MULTICHASER shifted out entering the home straight checking ELECTRIC DEE EYE for several strides. CAWBOURNE WALES (1) raced wide on the turn and run home.
Race 7	McGhie Plumbing Sprint - C1 - 318	AGENT SCHRADER (1) began awkwardly and then came together with SCOTT TIED UP (2) for several strides. LE ROI (9 -Box 6) shifted in early bumping MORE SALT NEEDED (4). HOWS YOUR MUM shifted in entering the turn and contacted SCOTT TIED UP for several strides. COOKIE MONSTER (8) shifted down onto LE ROI for some strides further into the bend with both runners losing ground, with AGENT SCHRADER being momentarily hampered. LE ROI got onto the hindquarters of HOWS YOUR MUM rounding the home turn and shifted out onto COOKIE MONSTER and AGENT SCHRADER, which were both checked briefly.
Race 8	$25K Terminating Pick6 Sprint - C4 - 318	GOOD RETURN (8) went up with the lids and was slow to begin. SIMPLY SAM (5) and HIGH PERCENTAGE (9 - Box 3) made contact briefly soon after the start. WOBOURN ABBEY (6) and DIVA POSE (7) came together and jostled for some strides over the early stages. WOBOURNE ABBEY then shifted in approaching the turn when to the inside of DIVA POSE placing SIMPLY SAM, HIGH PERCENTAGE, STYLISH FANCY (2) and THUNDERATION (1) in restricted room for some distance prior to these runners all being checked to varying degrees, with STYLISH FANCY making contact with the rail entering the turn losing considerable ground. STYLISH FANCY was referred to the Vet for assessment which revealed no abnormality.
Race 9	Thanks Kevin Gordon Stakes - C4 - 527	READY MADE SIZE (7) was slow to jump. REDNECK CRAZY (4) shifted out entering the first turn when having to check off the back off KIMETTO, which shifted in, forcing FANTASTIC AVA (8) out onto SHARELLA (6), which was badly checked, with WHO DAT BOY (1) and READY MADE SIZE also receiving interference and losing considerable ground along with REDNECK CRAZY. BORIS GUMP (2) underwent a post race Veterinary examination and was found to have injured a right fore digit with a 7 day stand down imposed.
Race 10	Lochinvar Marlow Sprint Series Final - C4f - 318	KIT AND CABOODLE (10 - Box 8) shifted in early forcing SONIC ATTACK (7) down onto SPEED LORDE (9 - Box 6) and BRITNEY STAR (2) which were checked and lost ground. WAERENGA STAR (3) and JUMP UP (4) made contact approaching the turn. SONIC ATTACK and KIT AND CABOODLE jostled for some strides entering the turn. BRITNEY STAR raced wide in the run home.
Race 11	Pump and Engineering Ltd Stakes - C3 - 527	MULTICAM RANGER (2) lost ground entering the first turn when having to check off the back of SPUD MISSLE (8), which crossed down to the rail. FANTASTIC RICKY (9 - Box 1) and COSMIC BOSS (4) made contact on several occasions entering the first turn. FANTASTIC RICKY then raced at the rear for the remainder of the event and was referred to Vet for assessment which revealed no abnormality.
Race 12	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C4/5 - 318	NANGAR STAR (6) shifted in abruptly soon after the start forcing HAPPY WIFE (10 - Box 4) down onto SUBIC BAY (3) and BRIGHT STAR (2), which were checked, with MADE TIME (1) also hampered when contacted by BRIGHT STAR. NANGAR STAR and BELCROFT STAR (7) then came together briefly on several occasions approaching the turn. SUBIC BAY had to check off the back of NANGAR STAR rounding the bend when that runner crossed down to the rail. NANGAR STAR was held up briefly on the home turn losing some momentum.
Race 13	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C2 - 318	DOUBLE ENTENDRE (4) was slow to begin. BOTANY BEV (8) raced wide throughout.
