Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	THRILLING MIA began awkwardly losing two lengths. ALLEGRO CODY was bumped on the bend and was unbalanced losing ground and never recovered. BIGTIME REIGN was referred to the Vet at the Trainers request and found to have a foot laceration.
Race 2	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 520	COSMIC BOSS shifted in going into the first bend and crowded PETAL SANNETTE and she went back into the line of NITRO MARY which was checked and fell but recovered her feet and finished onto the lure. NITRO MARY was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pain in both pectoral muscle, hind quadricep and fore tricep muscle pain. MOLLY O'SHEA was inconvenienced in the incident losing three lengths and she finished in 6th place.
Race 3	DOPEY DOG LASER ENGRAVING C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	SUBIC BAY shifted in going to the first corner and crowded ALL IN BERLIN in onto EFFECTIVE POWER, ONE BROKE GIRL and ASTERIA with the last two mentioned runners being the most affected and they were shuffled back to the rear. ASTERIA recovered the best of the two and made up ground to finish in 5th place.
Race 4	FIRST SECURITY C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	DOWNGRADE KING was the slowest to begin from box 8 and he stayed back throughout. FREEDOM FLYER and WILD EFFECTIVE jostled together for some distance going to the first corner and they both lost ground with WILD EFFECTIVE the most affected.
Race 5	LASER PLUMBING C2/3 - C2/3 - 520	LADY ZEENA shifted across from the start and caused checks to LONESOME NITRO, OPAWA EXTREME, READY MADE SIZE and ANOTHER HABIT and they were all inconvenienced for a short distance. CHARLIE BO BO eased off heels going into the first bend and shifted out hampering LONESOME NITRO and AUTUMN LIGHTS which both lost ground. THRILLING CASSIE was trailing the leader going into the back straight but was checked and fell and AUTUMN LIGHTS was unable to avoid the fallen runner and was checked losing several lengths and all chance. THRILLING CASSIE was able to regain her feet and finished on the lure and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pectoral muscle pain.
Race 6	AON CPF C2 - C2 - 305	ALLEGRO ALL GO, ALLEGRO LASS and CRYSTAL MCBELL jostled together for a short distance after the start and ALLEGRO LASS and CRYSTAL MCBELL lost ground. KAPAI LANA and BRILLIANT ASHLEE jostled and shifted in going into the bend and this resulted in tightening to CRYSTAL MCBELL which lost her position and went back to last. She was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a split webbing.
Race 7	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C2 - C2 - 305	ALLEGRO SENOR and RUA RAMA were slow to begin losing four lengths and they stayed at the rear throughout. ALLEGRO RUNNINGS shifted out going into the bend and forced OPAWA TOMMO over the heels of KINETIC ASSASIN and he lost three lengths and all chance.
Race 8	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	TRACEY was the slowest to begin losing three lengths and she stayed back throughout. CAWBOURNE HINT and BRILLIANT JAYLA jostled together for some distance in the back straight and they were unbalanced and lost ground. CAWBOURNE BUTTSY raced wide into the home straight and forced BIG FAT GYPSY and CHAIMBO wide over extra ground.
Race 9	METEOR OPD WANGANUI C2/3 - C2/3 - 305	CAWBOURNE DANIAL was slow to begin losing four lengths and stayed back to finish with the rear group of runners. DON'T MUZZLE ME was awkwardly positioned in restricted room going into the bend and was checked and went back onto BIGTIME RUNNINGS and they finished at the rear. The favourite HU XIAN started from box 8 and while forced to cover ground early in the race, shifted closer to the rail on the bend but only ran on fairly to finish in 5th place.
Race 10	WANGANUI TOYOTA C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	CAWBOURNE CLOVER galloped on the back of SHEER MISS going into the first bend and they both lost four lengths and went back to the rear where they stayed until the finish. CAWBOURNE CLOVER was again checked and lost ground going into the final bend.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	PINK SHELLAC was the slowest away from the start and she then shifted out to race wide covering extra ground throughout and finished in last place. CAWBOURNE ROWAN shifted in going into the bend and crowded BOSTON LIGHTNING which had to steady to avoid heels and lost two lengths.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	THUNDERATION and VAL BAXTER shifted ground from the start and ITS THE LOVELY in between was tightened and settled back. A short distance further on, MAKING TIME shifted in and crowded VAL BAXTER which lost ground. JINJA COLL raced wide on the bend and covered extra ground.
