Judicial report: HAZEL AND GRANNY was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1 b for failing to pursue the lure throughout in race 4 and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C1 - C1 - 305	QUEEN STAR settled well back and over the final stages, drifted to finish several lengths last and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have shoulder muscle pain. The winner PEACOCK PRINCESS shifted out marginally in the home straight forcing TONGARIRO over extra ground. However, the head on video confirmed the official observation that at no stage did PEACOCK PRINCESS turn her head.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 520	NOONOO was having his first start for a new Trainer and was up in weight by 2.6 kilograms from his last start on 06.07.16 and this was intentional. NOONOO was slow away from the boxes losing two lengths. LISSADELL MARCUS was tightened between runners when the start was made and settled back. LISSADELL MARCUS raced widest into the bend on the first occasion and soon after when angling inwards made contact with the hind quarters of SHE'S MUSTARD for a couple of strides. SHE'S MUSTARD lost ground soon after racing out wide several lengths in the rear improving past one runner in the run to the line.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING WANGANUI C0 Ht1 - C0q - 305 Heat 1	BUZZY GEM was slow to begin losing three lengths and he stayed well back throughout. ROCKY'S TO MUCH checked off the back of SILENT PARTNER going into the bend and went back onto BUZZY GEM with both losing ground. They bumped together on the bend and became unbalanced losing further ground and finished several lengths behind the other runners.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C0 Ht2 - C0q - 305 Heat 2	TEEVEE KIWI and LITTLE KIWI came together and jostled soon after the start and they continued to jostle for the length of the back straight and were unbalanced. Going into the bend, CAWBOURNE NATH galloped on the heels of LITTLE KIWI which was checked and a short distance further on, TEEVEE KIWI was hampered and shifted out forcing EBONY HAZE and CAWBOURNE NATH very wide and all three lost several lengths and tailed the field from there to the finish. HAZEL AND GRANNY eased approaching the home straight and was referred to the Vet for assessment and HAZEL AND GRANNY was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1 b and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C0 Ht3 - C0q - 305 Heat 3	MOCHA CHINO shifted out slightly going into the bend and hampered SCOTTA PIE for a short distance. CALA D'OR shifted in going into the bend and crowded GULLY SCREAMER which went back to the rear and never recovered the lost ground.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE C0 Ht4 - C0q - 305 Heat 4	All clear.
Race 7	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 520	IZZY BOWEN was slow to begin and settled back. TAKE ACTION shifted in going to the first corner and caused checks to WORBOYS and SCOTT NO VALUE with SCOTT NO VALUE the most affected and he went back to last and stayed there for the remainder of the race.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	BOTANY VIKKI shifted in going into the bend and bumped with GULLY RUNNER which then shifted out and hampered TAKEAWAY and they were both unbalanced losing ground and they stayed well back.
Race 9	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520	THRILLING EVIE began awkwardly and shifted in abruptly and settled at the rear. OPAWA SPICE shifted out and bumped WORLD FREAKSHOW which was forced a little wide into the first bend. A short distance further on, OPAWA SPICE was checked when making contact with THRILLING EVIE and she lost three lengths and stayed back to finish near the rear.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	SWIRLING EDDIE shifted out from box 1 at the start and caused crowding and checks to SASHA MCBELL, JOHNNY ANGEL, RAGING DEMON and POLLY CRACKER and they all lost ground. JOHNNY ANGEL raced very wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground. POLLY CRACKER and CAWBOURNE OHIO jostled together in the home straight when racing at the rear. CAWBOURNE OHIO was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a sesamoid injury.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 520	ROMAN ACTION which was having his first start for a new Trainer was up in weight by 2.1 kilograms and this was intentional. ALLEGRO BEAU was a little slow to begin and settled back. RED HOT ACTION was tightened between runners going into the first bend and went back to last. RIKKI'S REBEL was checked going to the back straight and lost three lengths and ALLEGRO BEAU was checked on three separate occasions during the run in the back straight and he lost all chance and finished in last place. ALLEGRO BEAU was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have suffered a webbing injury. PACIFIC SUNRISE was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a shoulder injury.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	FEEL THE FORCE shifted in soon after the start and checked TRENDY VIV which lost two lengths. BELFAST SMARTY and KIRKHAM JASPER were awkwardly positioned in restricted room going to the first corner and they were shuffled back to the rear where they remained until the finish. SCOTT TIED UP and BELFAST SMARTY raced very wide into the home straight over extra ground.
Race 13	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	JOBS RITE was slow away from the boxes losing three lengths. HOMEBUSH JUSTINE was crowded going to the bend and she lost two lengths. MAP MY RUN and CAWBOURNE BRAE jostled together for a short distance entering the home straight and they were both briefly unbalanced losing momentum.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	BUSTER BOY shifted in going into the bend and crossed the line of ALQUEZAR which was checked losing two lengths. ALQUEZAR shifted out approaching the home turn and raced wide over extra ground.
Race 15	METEOR OPD WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	CONSUMATE EASE and OPAWA SMOKE were slow to begin losing a length. CAWBOURNE MORRIS and ANOTHER CHARM bumped together on the bend and were unbalanced with ANOTHER CHARM going back to last and she finished in that position.
