| Race 1 | Otago GRC Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310 | ESKIMO CHILL (2) and TODD BLUE BLOOD (6) were slow to jump. From the jump DEMAN BLUE BLOOD (3) shifted inwards and bumped ESKIMO CHILL. In the run to the turn and into the bend UNO JASON (1) was tightened behind HOMEBUSH SCRIBE (4) and then bumped the running rail losing momentum. On the turn TODD BLUE BLOOD ran wide and dictated WAIMAK SHEFF (8) wider on the track. |
| Race 2 | Happy Birthday Sharon Sprint - C1 - 310 | KNOCKA FEW BACK (C.Healey) was having his first start with a new trainer and was 4.4kg down in weight. The greyhound had not started for two months and the vet cleared the dog to race, with the trainer advising that it was his intention to put more condition on the greyhound for future racing. BURSAR (R.Adcock) was also 2.1kg down in weight but was having her first start for two months. From the jump BURSAR (7) shifted ground inwards checking LOTS OF BEERSIES (6) while RIB CURLER (4) was slow to jump. In the run to the turn LOTS OF BEERSIES ran outwards clipping the rear of OPAWA EXPRESS (8) who lost momentum. Into the turn BURSAR crossed and checked OZARK'S WATCH (1). Into the straight BURSAR ran outwards checking RIB CURLER. |

Into the back straight OPAWA PAM was held up for racing room when LIGHT THAW (5) ran outwards and was then forced to check off the heels of LIGHT THAW in the straight. |

In the back straight OPAWA JEAINE (8) ran outwards dictating KNOW MENTION (7) wide on the track. In the straight KNOW CLOWN (5) checked outwards off the heels of OPAWA JEMAINE and bumped KNOW VALUE (4) who lost momentum with KNOW MENTION forced wide. |
| Race 7 | Nina's Girl Stakes - C1 - 545 | From the jump PIANISSIMO (2) ran sharply outwards checking WHAT I LIKE (3) and RHINEGOLDE (4) with NO TINKERBELL (5) forced wide and in turn holding up the trailing WAR CLOAK (6), HOMEBUSH SKIP (8) and FRECKLE FLYER (9/7). On the first turn RHINEGOLDE clipped the rear of NO TINKERBELL who became unbalanced and in turn checked HOMEBUSH SKIP with these three runners all losing ground. PIANISSIMO and WAR CLOAK ran wide throughout the race. |
| Race 8 | St Kilda Veterinary Centre Sprint - C4/5 - 310 | ANOTHER LIZ (JT McInerney) was 2.8kg above her last race start weight but the greyhound has not started for three months. From the jump WHEELCHAIR NORM (4) shifted ground inwards tightening OPAWA LEAN MEAT (3). Into the turn OPAWA CRUSADE ran outwards tightening WHEELCHAIR NORM and holding up the trailing OPAWA LEAN MEAT with both these dogs losing momentum. In the straight OPAWA LEAN MEAT and KNOW THANKS (7) ran wide. |

On the turn TILT checked outwards off the heels of WUNZEE with the trailing NO BRO (5) checked and GOLDSTAR BOMBER (8) dictated wide on the track. |
