Judicial report: MEAT DAMON ( Kettlewell/Phillips ) was a late scratching in race 8 refer race report.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 375	CAWBOURNE NATH box 1 went up with the lids being last in to stride. Racing in to the first bend GHOSTFACE angled in on to CYNDI ACTION , on their outer XAWBOURNE FROST racing to the lead angled in on to these runners tightening them for a couple of strides resulting in CYNDI ACTION going back off the heels of GHOSTFACE running out on to the hind of BEN NEVIS KNIGHT forcing this runner wide in to the bend. CYNDI ACTION lost ground to a clear last in the running making ground in the run home. GEEZ LOUISE after being forced wide across the top bend finished towards the rear at the line.
Race 2	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375	Racing from the boxes DARK GARNAH box 4 ran inwards checking ALAMEIN DUKE for a stride. Racing in to the first bend KIRKHAM JACK racing to the lead angled inwards hampering RIKKI'S REBEL and OPAWA SPICE for a stride or so. RIKKI'S REBEL went back on to JOHNNY BRUCE with DARK GARNAH being checked when running on to the heels of JOHNNY BRUCE who then moved outwards making contact with OPAWA SPICE . ALQUEZAR on their outer ran widest on to the top bend. racing across the top bend JOHNNY BRUCE caught the heels of RIKKI'S REBEL checking back across the hind of OPAWA SPICE making contack with ALAMEIN DUKE hampering this runner for a stride or so. JOHNNY BRUCE lost several lengths in this incident finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 3	Greyhounds As Pets C1 - C1 - 375	Soon after the start RED HOT ACTION raced across the face of NO MORE MARMITE on to the shoulder of AMERICANO. Racing in to the first bend LURE ME IN came out bumping the shoulder of ROMAN ACTION who came out on to CAWBOURNE GUNNA ( fav ) with both runners being unable to clear each other resulting in ROMAN ACTION making contact with the safety pads on the outside fence, CAWBOURNE GUNNA recovered off the hind of ROMAN ACTION both runners finished on to the lure. CAWBOURNE GUNNA and ROMAN ACTION were referred to the vet for assessment. CAWBOURNE GUNNA was cleared of abnormalities. ROMAN ACTION was found to have bruising to the right shoulder a 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 4	Go to the Melbourne Cup with Boys Trip.co.nz C1 - C1 - 375	CHIEF BAXTER box 5 began awkwardly for a stride or so. Racing away from the start CAWBOURNE MORRIS raced across the face of PISTOLS PRINCESS, MR MAIZE and CHIEF BAXTER checking these runners slightly. Racing in to the first bend FRAPPUCINO came out bumping MR MAIZE out on to the hind of PISTOLS PRINCESS both runners being checked running wide in to the bend .
Race 5	totalbodyshop.co.nz C1 - C1 - 375	Racing in to the first bend GOODTIME LADY was tightened going back a length and outwards causing CLEARLY MAGIC to race outwards over heels . Soon after racing on to the bend CLEARLY MAGIC checked outwards over the heels of GOODTIME LADY with JOEY BAXTER checking inwards to avoid these runners. Racing in to the home straight JOEY BAXTER on the outer of ALCUDIA and CLEARLY MAGIC angled inwards tightening these runners for a couple of strides.
Race 6	Affordable Pet Accessories C2 Heat 1 - C2q - 375 Heat 1	ALLEGRO RUNNING ( fav ) was away well in the early stages to be handy in to the first bend where he was pushed in on to heels as KINETIC ASSASSIN angled inwards. ALLEGRO ASSASSIN went back a length or so stumbling slightly after catching the hind of KINETIC ASSASSIN. ALLEGRO RUNNINGS soon after ran wide across the line of BELFAST BARRY who caught the heels of ALLEGRO RUNNINGS both runners losing momentum and ground. ALLEGRO RUNNINGS ran wide in to the home straight finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 7	Brooks Timing C2 Heat 2 - C2q - 375 Heat 2	This race was delayed 1 minute at the request of race Day Control. Racing from the boxes KIRKHAM WEBBY ( fav ) raced across the face of the field running in to the shoulder of ALLEGRO POWER who bumped in to MATTIE BLUEBLOOD both dogs being checked. Racing in to the first bend CAWBOURNE DOUST from the outer angled across towards the lead tightening IF IT FITZ in on to ALLEGRO POWER forcing this runner n on to the heels of MATTIE BLUEBLOOD for stride. Racing in to the bend KIRKHAM WEBBY was pushed in to ALLEGRO POWER who caught heels and fell. KIRKHAM WEBBY after interference in the early stages ran wide in to the home straight finishing towards the rear at the line. IF IT FITZ was referred to the vet on returning to the wash bay and was found to have aggravated and old injury to the left fore carpus area a 10 day stand down was recommended. ALLEGRO POWER regained to his paws to finish on to the lure and was referred on to the vet for assessment and was found to have pain over both shoulders & right hip a 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 8	Shakey Jakey At Rocky Ridge C3 - C3 - 375	MEAT DAMON was a late scratching at 8.30 am due to showing signs of lameness prior to leaving home was presented to the Vet on course and was found to have parynachia to p4 on the near fore a 7 day stand down was recommended. LADY ZENA box 2 began awkwardly on jumping away recovered quickly in to stride to race to the lead. Racing in to the first bend KENTARO BAXTER got close to the heels of LADY ZENA going inwards tightening MANU RAMA back a length resulting in ENHANCER running in to the hind of MANU RAMA who was severely hampered at this point losing momentum ,ENHANCER ran wide when recovering back in to stride. MANU RAMA was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have injuries to the right pectoral & gracilis muscles a 10 day stand down was recommended
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C2 - C2 - 457	Racing from the boxes KIRKHAM COBY and MOLLY O'SHEA came together, MOLLY O'SHEA was unbalanced for a stride or so going back a length. HOMEBUSH BUCK ran in on to KIRKHAM COBY who changed ground outwards in the run to the first bend.
Race 10	Buck Fever At Stud C1 - C1 - 457	CAWBOURNE PAWS box 3 was slow away by a couple of lengths. Racing off the mat FEEL THE FORCE raced across on to SILVER TOKAM bumping this runner for a stride. Racing in to the first bend CAWBOURNE PAWS endeavouring to improve in to the body of the field was held up and forced to check back off the heels of SILVER TOKAM. SILVER TOKAM was referred to the vet at the handlers request and was found to have pain in the right quadriceps muscle area a 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 11	Preston's Master Butchers C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	BIG BOY DENO was slowest away. Racing in to the bend BIG BOY DENO and BOSTON LIGHTNING bumped BIG BOY DENO lost a couple of lengths. Racing around the bend IT'S THE LOVELY ( fav ) racing midfield in tight quarters was jostled for some distance going back on to BOSTON LIGHTNING in behind being held up for some distance IT'S THE LOVELY was tightened and jostled racing in to the home straight losing ground back to the rear finishing in last placing at the line.
Race 12	wheeldeal.co.nz C3/4 - C3/4 - 457	In the run to the first bend CAWBOURNE STEPS racing handy was checked and fell as READY MADE SIZE angled across, SHEER MISS ( fav ) was hampered at this point losing ground back to the rear.CAWBOURNE PAWS was quickly to his paws to finish on to the lure some distance back and was referred on to the vet for assessment and was found to have generalised pain a 10 day stand down was recommended. SHEER MISS after earlier interference made ground in to 5th placing at the line. Racing in to the bend COSMIC SCRAMBLE was tightened between MALAKAI MAGIC and CAWBOURNE PANIC on the inner, COSMIC SCRAMBLE was squeezed back losing a couple of lengths. Racing to the home turn MALAKAI MAGIC got on the heels of CAWBOURNE PANIC losing momentum and finished towards the rear at the line. MALAKAI MAGIC was referred to the vet at the handlers request and was found to have left pectoral muscle pain a 10 day stand down was recommended.
