Track: Good The Lure stopped abruptly after the finish of Race 11 due to the lure jamming forcing all dogs to pull up suddenly. All dogs were subjected to post-race veterinary examinations and cleared of injury. The Lure was subsequently replaced and tested prior to Race 12 and found to be in full working order.
Scales: Correct at all weights.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295	EXTRA CREDIT (2) was slow to leave the boxes. TIP THE BABE (5) lost ground after jostling with BARNICLE BULLET (4) when entering the bend with causing GREET THE JUDGE (3) to check outwards onto the heels of GUMP'S MY NAME (7). This in turn forced GUMP'S MY NAME up the track with EXTRA CREDIT and BOUND TO ERUPT (9/8) also obliged to race wide.
Race 2	Carol's TAB Clendon Inn Dash - C4 - 295	SPEEDY RETURN (1) came up with the lids and was slow to leave the boxes. HETFIELD (7) faltered in its gait in the run to the bend and failed to maintain its position with the field finishing a distance from the winner. Subsequently HETFIELD was found to have a torn gracilis with a 28 day stand down imposed. Co-Trainer J Jopson advised Stewards that this dog would now be retired. SOUTHERN BLUE (2) lost ground after being placed in restricted room between HOMEBUSH KELSO (9/6) and the rail when entering the bend. This in turn caused an inconvenience to RICK'S TREASURE (4) and to a lesser extent SPEEDY RETURN. HOMEBUSH KELSO then lost ground when SOUTHERN BLUE shifted outwards rounding the bend.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295	GOLDSTAR BOMBER (1), SPARKLING TERRA (2) and WUNZEE (3) all lost ground when squeezed for racing room to the inside of runners when entering the bend. Prior to the run home JINJA LOCH (7) was slightly turned outwards after bumping shoulders with CAWBOURNE CRAIG (5).
Race 4	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C3 - 520	WITH PRIDE (2) and OPAWA COOKIE (4) both lost ground when entering the first bend after being tightened for racing room by JINJA HEART (5). KNOW NEGLECT (8) and WITH PRIDE bumped prior to the run home.
Race 5	Active Electrical Christchurch Sprint - C4/5 - 295	COLLECTING MONEY (6), DYNA QUIRK (5) and ANOTHER MESSAGE (7) all jostled through the early stages. HARKONEN BALE (2) lost momentum when awkwardly placed on the heels of TECHNIC (3) when entering the bend with these two runners then briefly coming together prior to the home straight.
Race 6	Cheviot Trust Hotel Sprint - C4 - 295	JINJA BILLY (8) came inwards at the start impeding the running line of FLIBERTY JIBERTY (7) before forcing GRAND APACHE (6) down onto the heels of HOMEBUSH PAIGE (5). THRILLING ECHO (1) lost ground quickly after being bumped by AIDEN BAXTER (3) entering the bend with this causing FLIBERTY JIBERTY to check off its heels and inconvenience JINJA BILLY (8) and GRAND APACHE. GRAND APACHE was referred to the vet for assessment and found to have a groin strain with a 10 day stand down recommended.
Race 7	David Emerson Consultancy Sprint - C3 - 295	CLEVER SAGE (2) came outwards through the early stages forcing OPAWA ROCKET (1) to race in restricted room. OM NOM NOM (5) came down the track over the initial stages placing pressure on CHOKEHOLD (4). CLEVER SAGE then faltered rounding the bend losing ground, A post-race veterinary examination revealed stifle pain in its right hind leg and was subsequently stood down for 14 days. CAWBOURNE SARAH (1) was obliged to check off the heels of GO POPPY (6) rounding the bend. OPAWA ROCKET was held up for clear racing room rounding the bend.
Race 8	Waihemo Lodge Hotel Dash - C4/5 - 295	GET READY FREDDY (4) came inwards at the start bumping with ROADWORKS (3) forcing it down onto MICKEY TEE (2). GET READY FREDDY then had to check off the heels of ROADWORKS shortly after. OPAWA LEAN MEAT (8) continued to race wide in the run to the bend. ROADWORKS ran wide rounding the bend.
Race 9	Kolorful Kanvas Distance - C1/2d - 645	KNOW WORTH (3) became awkwardly placed on the heels of WILLIS (4) through the early stages and was then obliged to check off the heels of HIP HOP SOFIA (8) shortly after with this forcing OPAWA BUCKS EYE (7) up the track. HIP HOP SOFIA then bumped with GOLDSTAR AVERY (2) prior to entering the home straight on the first occasion. GOLDSTAR AVERY then ran up the track forcing KNOW WORTH to race wide.
Race 10	MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C4/5 - 295	WHEELCHAIR NORM (8) came inward early crowding ARBRE CHENE (7) down onto MAGIC MIKE (6) with this in turn forcing KNOW THANKS (5) onto NO LEAF CLOVER (4) with PAPERBOND also checked. WHEELCHAIR NORM continued to come down the track simultaneously as SMASH THAT (1) came up the track placing DREAM LARGE (2) in restricted room and forcing this dog to lose ground. DREAM LARGE the tried to improve to the inside of SMASH THAT rounding the bend causing SMASH THAT to be turned outwards on several occasions. A post-race veterinary examination of SMASH THAT revealed no injury.
Race 11	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C4 - 520	LEKTRA CONCORD (3) and KNOW SCHOLAR (5) lost ground when having to check after OPAWA VAL (6) came down the track prior to the first bend with this forcing BIRCHWOOD (8) wide. OPAWA VAL then bumped off BOSTON BILLY when entering the first bend. All dogs were subjected to post-race veterinary checks and cleared of any injury after the Lure stopped abruptly after the finish.
Race 12	Protexin Dash - C4 - 295	HOMEBUSH ROCKY (5) was a late scratching at kenneling with a swollen leg. RAND (4) race up the track through the early stages. OPAWA CRUSADE (1) lost all momentum when placed in restricted room between GOLD VIPA (6) and the rail prior to the bend. This in turn caused a slight inconveinance to REPLAY (2) and CATHY MAREE (3).
