Race 1	Super Pets Stakes - C0 - 520	NEW BROOM (5) was a clear last on jumping. HOMEBUSH SLOAN (4) ran outwards in the early stages bumping with STORMING MACK (8). Close in OPAWA PAM (3) ran inwards contacting the hind quarters of SUCH FUN (1). Into the first bend CATLIN BLUEBLOOD (6) was tightened between NEW BROOM and SUCH FUN. Late in the home straight STORMING MACK and OPAWA PAM came together for a stride.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Doug Allen Sprint - C0 - 295	FILL YA BOOTS (2) was slowest to jump. MINOR BRAINWAVE (6) and MACHINE MAN (4) bumped in the early stages. SEASPRAY CRACKER (1) was badly tightened into the bend and ran outwards checking MINOR BRAINWAVE which lost ground with MACHINE MAN pushed very wide. SEASPRAY CRACKER then ran very wide on the bend with MINOR BRAINWAVE and MACHINE MAN again inconvenienced. SEASPRAY CRACKER and MACHINE MAN were checked and cleared by the vet post race.
Race 3	Coalgate Tavern Dash - C0 - 295	TODD BLUE BLOOD (5) was very slow to jump with REALITY (6) and GORDY JUNIOR (7) also settling well back. In the back straight CAIRO (8) ran inwards pushing GORDY JUNIOR down the track with this runner making solid contact with MULBERRY STORM (3). HOMEBUSH SCRIBE (2) was tightened into the bend losing ground causing the trailing kennel mates REALITY and MULBERRY STORM to be held up and lose momentum. TODD BLUE BLOOD raced wide around the bend.
Race 4	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C1 - 295	MAX BRAINSTRAIN (4) was last to jump. BADUZZI (2) was badly tightened into the bend and lost ground. SPEEDY DISPATCH (1) shifted up the track on the home turn pushing HOMEBUSH RILEY (9/7) and CUPCAKE (6) wider. In behind MAX BRAINSTRAIN was held up for room before shifting outwards and checking BADUZZI.
Race 5	Barron's Supplies Sprint - C0 - 295	MORATORIUM (5) and HOMEBUSH SHANE (4) collided in the early stages. TROUBLESOME BRIT (7) ran inwards from dispatch pushing BOTANY CALYPSO (3) down the track. JINGA SNAG (2) shifted outwards into the bend pushing HOMEBUSH SHANE wider. MORATORIUM got its leg over the rail at the lure and was checked and cleared by the vet.
Race 6	Amber Cleaniing Services Sprint - C2 - 295	THRILLING SPELL (5) was checked into the bend and dropped to the rear. OPAWA IDOL (4) and ZORBA THE GREEK (6) brushed for a stride on the bend when midfield.
Race 7	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Stakes - C1 - 520	PIANISSIMO (8) was last to jump. LAGOON ALLIRA (5) was checked into the first bend after HOMEBUSH HOWARD (7) had crossed from its outside. This caused HOMEBUSH SKIP (2) to lose ground and duck outwards after checking off the back of LAGOON ALLIRA with CAWBOURNE KENNY (6) and PIANISSIMO badly inconvenienced in consequence.
Race 8	Glenbyre Tavern Dash - C2 - 295	YOU'RE THE BEST (2) and DEVILSKIN (4) were the last pair on jumping. BIGTIME TIP (5) was tightened into the bend with YOU'RE THE BEST and MULBERRY BROOK (1) both held up along the inside. BIGTIME TIP checked outwards off heels on the home turn. STRUGGLE IS REAL (9/3) angled outwards on the home turn contacting SALLY (6) for a stride.
Race 9	Shirley Vet Clinic Distance - C0d - 645	LUMINARY (4) shifted outwards in the early stages checking CRYSTAL FLAME (5) and RUSHCUTER ACTION (6). GOLDSTAR JAGGER (2) ran outwards into the first bend checking OPAWA PEACHES (7). RUSHCUTER ACTION ran outwards on the second bend jostling with ACE BALE (8) and GOLDSTAR JAGGER with KNOW CLOWN (1) forced wide in consequence. ACE BALE was held up for room at the end of the back straight.
Race 10	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C2 - 295	The track was upgraded to Good prior to this event. BUDGIE RIGHT (5) ran inwards in the back straight tightening HOMEBUSH RUFUS (4) and OHOKA COBY (1). MAGIC WIZARD (6) received a slight check into the bend when crossed by BARCIA EXPRESS (8). GIGANAIRE (7) and BARCIA EXPRESS both raced wide in the home straight. UGO FLASH (3) and GIGANAIRE were both knocked over at the lure and were cleared by the vet.
Race 11	Mac Developments Stakes - C2 - 520	OPAWA FAITH (5) was tightened in the early stages dropping to the rear. KNOW VALUE (1) shifted out into the first bend checking GOLDSTAR COCO (4). Wider out OPAWA TRACY (6) ran outwards contacting her brother OPAWA JEMAINE (7) with OPAWA TRACY being turned sideways in consequence and checking KNOW MENTION (8) on their outside. After viewing all available angles Stewards were satisfied that the turning of the head of OPAWA TRACY was caused by the contact made with OPAWA JEMAINE and no further action was deemed necessary. OPAWA FAITH lost ground at the end of the back straight when racing in restricted room.
Race 12	Livamol Dash - C2 - 295	HOMEBUSH ERROL (1) was badly tightened into the bend dropping to the rear. EXPECT DELAY (7) stumbled for a stride into the bend recovering quickly. JINJA WILLY (8) and GO TOMMO (6) raced wide in the home straight. The winner CHIPPY JORDY (4) was trampled at the lure and together with HOMEBUSH ERROL was checked and cleared by the vet post race.
