Track: Good The Track was presented in a very good racing condition being well groomed and watered through out the meeting. All other equipment worked well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: ALLEGRO TOUCH ( L Ahern race 8) was a late scratching on Vets advice soon after arriving at the track after showings signs of becoming unwell.
The missing photo finish from race 7 at the Wanganui greyhound meeting on 15-6-2106 has been uploaded to the website .

Race 1	LASER PLUMBING C2 - C2 - 520	Soon after the start ALLEGRO BEATY ran across bumping ZIMMER FRAME in across the face of OPAWA GAVIN. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion BERNIE'S BOY and OPAWA JACKIE on his outer bumped resulting in OPAWA JACKIE galloping in to the bend awkwardly. Soon after entering the back straight OPAWA JACKIE went off stride losing ground to finish a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment.
Race 2	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 520	RED EXPRESS ( fav ) was bumped and jostled soon after the start as CAWBOURNE MERL angled across. RED EXPRESS was checked a this point along with ALAMEIN JUDE who was pushed in on to CAWBOURNE PANIC. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion RED EXPRESS became awkwardly placed in behind CAWBOURNE MERL and was forced to check out wide across heels becoming unbalanced for a couple of strides. RED EXPRESS was well back entering the back straight where he improved through the field up in to 4th in the running and was slightly hampered for clear room in the run home finishing in 4th placing at the line The connections of winner ANOTHER HABIT requested a Vet check where no abnormalities were found.
Race 3	FIRST SECURITY C3/4 - C3/4 - 520	From the jump CAWBOURNE ESKI cut in across the face of KNOW SCHOLAR hampering this runner from getting quickly in to stride. KNOW SCHOLAR was last in to the bend on the first occasion and was unable to make a lot of ground there after finishing in 5th placing at the line. CAWBOURNE ESKI was forced to race widest in to and around the first bend, drifted back a few lengths in the run to and across the top bend and was unable to make ground there after finishing in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment. As the field turned for the run in TOP PROSECUTOR going strongly raced through on the inner of SHERLOCK IZMIR bumping this runner, both runners were unaffected finishing in that order at the line. CAWBOURNE ESKI was found to have pain in right hind quadriceps muscle a 7 day stand down was recommended.
Race 4	Racing Series Sprint Ht1 - NZRSq - 305 Heat 1	Soon after the start AL'S GIRL raced angled across the face of the field checking JINJA COLL and HAPPY WIFE. In the run on to the top bend ALLEGRO CLASS racing up near the lead lost ground suddenly back to midfield finishing in 6th placing at the line. ALLEGRO CLASS was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have aggravated and old injury to the feromis muscle off hind a 14 day stand down was recommended.
Race 5	Racing Series Sprint Ht2 - NZRSq - 305 Heat 2	MADE TIME ( fav ) from box 1 was quickly in to stride and never headed there after. Soon after the start DREAMZONE, THRILLING GALAXY and SCOOTER'S ROSE bumped and jostled for a couple of strides. THRILLING GALAXY was checked racing in to the first bend when making contact with the hind of BIGTIME REDFOO as this runner shifted inwards. ALLEGRO RUNNINGS from box 8 was forced to race wide in to and across the top bend covering extra ground finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 6	Racing Series Sprint Ht3 - NZRSq - 305 Heat 3	SMASH ALLEGRO ( fav ) from box 1wasn't smartly away and was unable to improve in to a challenging position being tightened and checked back to the rear racing in to the bend and was unable to get in to contention there after in a swiftly run race. Racing handy to the lead nearing the home turn CHEAP SHOT MATTY and BRITNEY STAR out wider were forced wide as SPIRIT RUN improving strongly raced through on their inner bumping CHEAP SHOT MATT towards BRITNEY STAR causing both runners to lose ground at this point. SMASH ALLEGRO was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 7	Racing Series Sprint Ht4 - NZRSq - 305 Heat 4	Racing in to the first bend there was tightening and jostling between MAKING TIME angling inwards on to BOX OF FLUFFIES and GET READY FREDDY. GET READY FREDDY was checked back towards the rear and was unable to get back in to contention there after. BOX OF FLUFFIES was referred to the vet after returning to the wash bay and was found to have a broken toe nail on the near hind a 14 day stand down was recommended.
Race 8	Racing Series Sprint Ht5 - NZRSq - 305 Heat 5	ALLEGRO TOUCH late scratching ( refer judicial ) Soon after the start there was bumping and jostling as FREEDOM FLYER ran in on to DOWNGRADE KING ONE BROKE GIRL and ALLEGRO CHASER ( fav ) checking these runners. Racing in to the first bend VITO BAXTER in the lead crossed to the rail with ALLEGRO CHASER following him across tightening ONE BROKE GIRL on his inner ,at this point FREEDOM FLYER angled inwards again tightening these runners further where they all lost some ground. Racing in to the home straight WAERENGA STAR and ALLEGRO ALL GO bumped and tangled for a stride or so but where well out of contention at this point. After striking trouble in the early stages both favoured runners ALLEGRO CHASER and ONE BROKE GIRL finished in 4th & 5th placings at the line.
Race 9	WANGANUI TOYOTA C4/5 - C5 - 520	In the run to the bend on the first occasion there was tightening and jostling as ABSINTHE MINDED angled across on to CAWBOURNE BRICK pushing this runner in on to CAWBOURNE CLAY, CAWBOURNE MATTY and BOSTON HEART. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion BOSTON HEART on the inner was tightened inwards for some strides making contact with the rail and raced towards the rear there after. BOSTON HEART was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 10	THE ROCK 95.2FM 1 Breeders Stakes FINAL - R/Af - 520	Racing from the start OPAWA NORRIS ran in bumping DIRK THE JERK. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion KNOW DECISION was tightened and checked back, he changed ground outwards catching the heels of DIRK THE JERK ,KNOW DECISION ran outwards on to KNOW JINX pushing this runner wide around the first bend, FALL FROM GRACE just ahead of these runners also ran out over the heels of OPAWA NORRIS. THRILLING CASSIE led from the jump to the start of the top bend where she was hampered losing a length or so as OPAWA SHACKLEY raced through on her inner and OPAWA KEVIN raced around her angling inwards. Nearing the home turn OPAWA NORRIS racing through on the inner of THRILLING CASSIE bumped this runner outwards across the face of DICK THE JERK who caught the heels of THRILLING CASSIE then bumping KNOW JINX on his outer who was mounting a run wider out from the rear.
Race 11	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	CAWBOURNE ELPASO box 6 began awkwardly for the first couple of strides. racing in to the bend SPEEDY BEAT on the inner of WILD EFFECTIVE was bumped and became unbalanced for some distance going further off stride and very wide in to the home straight finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to have a torn gracilis to the left hind a 28 day stand down was recommended.
Race 12	WANGANUI JOCKEY CLUB RACING 7TH JULY C3 - C3 - 305	MEAT DAMON from box 4 raced in the rear and appeared to be uncomfortable racing around the bend in to the home straight where he finished in last placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found Trainer N Phillips will moniter the dog and report if anything come to light in the next couple of days. CAWBOURNE BUTTSY box 8 race wide after being unable to cross inwards when attempting to improve racing in to the bend, he covered a fair amount of extra ground throughout the running finishing in 6th placing at the line.
