Weather: CloudyTrack: Good After persistent showers through out the meeting the Track was well presented. All other equipment operated well
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil
Judicial report: WHATA SHEMOZZEL ( R Murray ) was checked and fell during the running of a qualifying trial, recovered quickly to her paws to finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.

| Race 1 | ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305 | ALQUEZAR from box 8 raced widest throughout covering a lot of extra ground in the running finishing in 5th placing at the line. MISSING ALLEGRO and BEN NEVIS KNIGHT came together on the home turn ,both runners lost momentum for a stride or so. |
| Race 2 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE MAIDEN FINAL - C0f - 520 | MAGIC MARIA was checked racing in to the bend on the first occasion losing several lengths back to the rear and was unable to get back in to contention there after. KING'S CALL from box 7 was forced to race wide in to and around the bend in to the back straight he continued to improve around the outer to be vying for the lead wide out racing towards the home straight appeared to turn his head inwards for a couple of strides. The Stewards reviewed the replay of the run in to the home straight where after racing out wide KING'S CALL being given benefit of doubt as he was chasing and appeared to focusing on the lure not the other runner. The head on film was of no value being of average quality. KING'S CALL was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have pain over the right gracilis muscle injury a 5 day stand down was recommended. |
| Race 3 | LASER PLUMBING WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 305 | CALA D'OR and SCOTT THE LOOT were both slowest away. SCOTT THE LOOT took some strides to gain momentum being several lengths last in the early stages. Racing on to the bend SCOTT THE LOOT when improving ran on to the heels of STEFFI'S STAR as this runner ran outwards after also being checked. STEFFI'S STAR and SCOTT THE LOOT both went back and were unable to improve there after finishing in the rear at the line. STEFFI'S STAR was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have general muscle soreness a 5 day stand down was recommended. |
| Race 4 | ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305 | Racing in to the first bend ANOTHER KEY improved quickly towards the leader angling in causing tightening and checks to QUEVADO, ALLEGRO POWER, HOMEBUSH GINGER, MADSTONE and TANK'S ROB. MADSTONE caught the hind of ALLEGRO POWER checking this runner who ran outwards forcing STAINLESS KNOCKA wide on to the top bend covering extra ground ran on wide out for 2nd placing at the line. QUEVADO racing handy across the top bend was checked as ANOTHER KEY angled down to the rail, QUEVADO lost several lengths and was unable to get back in to contention. MADSTONE,TANK'S ROB both lost ground and were unable to get back in to contention. STAINLESS KNOCKA after being forced over extra ground finished well in to 2nd placing at the line. |
| Race 5 | LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305 | SHEIKS SPRITE ( fav ) after a fair start improved in to a handy position in to the first bend and was soon checked as BEV'S NEW POINT angled across towards the rail. SHEIKA SPRITE lost momentum and several lengths back past midfield and was unable to improve there after finishing towards the rear at the line. Racing towards the home turn JUST YOU WAIT and BEV'S NEW POINT bumped as for a stride. BEV'S NEW POINT went outwards losing some ground finishing in to 5th placing at the line. |
| Race 6 | KEENAN CONCRETE WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305 | CAWBOURNE BIRD box 6 began awkwardly bumping in to the shoulder of IF IT FITZ. CAWBOURNE BIRD went partly down on his haunches momentarily and was several lengths last as the field got in to stride. VEE VEERY LOVELY was tightened and checked going down on his haunches for a stride racing in to the first bend as TRACEY angling across pushed TRENDY VIV inwards. VEE VEERY LOVELY lost momentum back towards the rear and was unable to improve there after and was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have pain over the left shoulder area a 14 day stand down was recommended. MISS HOOK racing handy out wider nearing the home turn went amiss checking with VEE VEERY LOVELY and they turned for the run home. MISS HOOK finished past the post and was referred to the vet for assessment. |
| Race 7 | AON CPF C1 Ht1 - C1q - 520 Heat 1 | MAGIC WHITELOCK ( fav ) was tightened in to the bend on the first occasion ,he recovered back in to a handy position on the inner racing on to the top bend where he went off stride going back towards the rear finishing on to the lure. MAGIC WHITELOCK was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have swelling over the off side carpus a 21 day stand down was recommended. |
| Race 8 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 Ht2 - C1q - 520 Heat 2 | CAWBOURNE JARROD went up with the lids missing the start by several lengths. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion CAWBOURNE JARROD was hampered for a couple of strides when improving on to the back of GLAD'S A POPPING losing several lengths back to the rear. Racing in to the far bend CAWBOURNE JARROD when attempting to improve along the inner was checked as GLAD'S APOPPING angled back down to the rail. CAWBOURNE JARROD lost moment going back approx. 5 lengths and was unable to make much ground there after. finishing towards the rear. CANDY CRUSHER after racing widest throughout covering a fair amount of extra ground raced widest in to the and down the home straight where the dog was uncomfortable in his galloping action on pulling up the dog appeared to be suffering from cramping. CANDY CRUSHER was referred to the vet for assessment where on returning to the kennel block the dog recovered quickly with the Vet confirming cramping with no stand down recommended. |
| Race 9 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 Ht3 - C1q - 520 Heat 3 | Racing to the post on the first occasion KIRKHAM HARVEY and BUSINESS REVIEW came together bumping and jostling for some strides, soon after there was tightening from wide runners angling across resulting in TAIKOREA LASS coming together with BUSINESS REVIEW and KIRKHAM HARVEY bumping and jostling. KIRKHAM HARVEY came outwards forcing BUSINESS REVIEW and TAIKOREA LASS wide across the first bend in to the back straight. TAIKOREA LASS after being forced wide covering extra ground finished well back at the line. |
| Race 10 | FIRST SECURITY C1 Ht4 - C1q - 520 Heat 4 | COSMIC BOSS ( fav ) jumped fairly from box 3 settled midfield in to the bend on the first occasion, racing towards the back straight COSMIC BOSS was hampered as PRIVATE ACTION crossed to the rail. COSMIC BOSS raced midfield along the back straight where he improved towards the leaders racing across the top bend where he was again hampered as PRIVATE ACTION and CANDID ANGEL tightened inwards resulting in COSMIC BOSS racing in restricted room for some strides. Racing in to the home turn COSMIC BOSS back midfield angled outwards and when in clear ground ran on for 4th placing at the line. |
| Race 11 | WANGANUI TOYOTA C2 - C2 - 305 | Racing away from the start CRYSTAL MCBELL angled across the face of HOMEBUSH SPOOK checking this runner back ,CRYSTAL MCBELL ran in on to BIGTIIME MOOLA and INDIVIDUAL LILY . INDIVIDUAL LILY went back and outwards over the heels of CRYSTAL MCBELL keeping HOMEBUSH SPOOK out wide at this point. Racing in to the first bend KYLA ROSE from box 8 raced up towards the lead angling in on to OPAWA LEIGH who went back across heels bumping in to and checking BIT COIN, BIGTIME RUNNINGS angled in bumping with CRYSTAL MCBELL checking this runner back on to BIT COIN who ran on to the hind of CRYSTAL MCBELL and stumbled for a couple of strides. BIT COIN lost momentum back to the rear and was unable to improve there after. BIT COIN finished in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have bruising over the near thigh area a 7 day stand down was recommended. |
| Race 12 | BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C2 - C2 - 305 | NUI MAGIC box 6 began very awkwardly running in to the shoulder of VAL BAXTER checking this runner for a stride. RUA RAMA box 3 missed the jump by a couple of lengths he improved in to the field racing in to the first bend where he checked out over the heels of VAL BAXTER and catching the hind of BIGTIME RUNNINGS, RUA RAMA ran out wider catching the hind of HOMEBUSH JUSTINE checking this runner as they raced on to the top bend. NUI MAGIC after a poor start settled in the rear finishing in 6th placing at the line. RUA RAMA and HOMEBUSH JUSTINE after striking trouble in to the bend finished towards the rear at the line. |
| Race 13 | J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305 | NANA'S GIRL box 5 began awkwardly bumping in to SWIRLING EDDIE. GULLY RUNNER box 7 went up with the lids. Soon after the start in the run to the first bend NANA'S GIRL ran back in to SWIRLING EDDIE, NANA'S GIRL went sideways over on to SO UNBELIEVABLE with SWIRLING EDDIE being checked back on heels. NANA'S GIRL and SWIRLING EDDIE after striking trouble racing to the bend raced in the rear there after. GULLY RUNNER was referred to the Vet at the Trainers request and was found to have a split webbing to the near fore a 14 day stand down was recommended. |
| Race 14 | MAX REFRIDGERATION C1 - C1 - 305 | CAWBOURNE HINT and ALAMEIN DUKE both went up with the lids. CAWBOURNE HINT was then bumped as TRENDY BLASTER ran inwards and OPAWA SMOKE ran out. Racing in to the first turn CAWBOURNE HINT ran on to the hind of ALAMEIN DUKE for a stride. CAWBOURNE HINT raced in the rear there after. PREMIER PRINCE ran wide in to and across the top bend covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running finishing towards the rear. |
| Race 15 | METEOR OPD WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305 | BUSTER BOY dwelt at the start. NO MORE MARMITE was pushed widest in to the bend racing wide there after covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running finishing wide out in to 4th placing at the line. ALLEGRO STYLE from box 2 was only fairly away, he raced up in to the body of the field racing in to the bend where he lost a length or so and was hampered soon after as BUSTER BOY racing on his outer angled down to the rail ALLEGRO STYLE lost ground back to the rear and was unable to improve there after finishing in the rear at the line. |
