Judicial report: FUNKY TOWN, which was a scratching from race 6 with a shoulder injury is also required to complete a satisfactory trial. This decision was made after the Trainers representative advised the Stewards that since completing a Satisfactory Trial which was required under Rule 80.1 after the bitches arrival from Australia, FUNKY TOWN had failed to pursue the lure throughout in two further unofficial trials.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	KHAL DRAGO shifted out at the start and caused crowding and checks to several runners with KING SUMBA and ALQUEZAR the most affected. MR.MAIZE shifted in going into the bend and caused checks to AMERICANO, KING SIMBA and NANA'S GIRL which all lost momentum. KHAL DRAGO and MISS MUFFET shared the lead on the bend but KHAL DRAGO shifted out and attempted to fight with MISS MUFFET and they lost ground and finished in the back half of the field. KHAL DRAGO was referred to the Vet for assessment, was cleared of injury and under Rule 79.1 b was stood down for 28 days and is required to complete a satisfactory trial under Rule 80.1 before next racing.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 FINAL - C0f - 305	GOT TIME and CAWBOURNE JARROD bumped together when the start was made and they lost momentum and settled back. MATTIE BLUEBLOOD, TRENDY BLASTER, TRENDY VIV, GOT TIME and CAWBOURNE JARROD jostled together going into the bend and they all lost three lengths.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 520	ALLEGRO GUN and KNEAD YOU were slow to begin losing three lengths with ALLEGRO GUN slipping in his initial stride out of the boxes. MAGIC MARIA shifted in going into the first bend and checked ALLEGRO GUN which lost three lengths and he never recovered. KING'S CALL shifted in when going to the lead on the first corner and was bumped from behind by SHE'S MUSTARD and momentarily inconvenienced but recovered quickly.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 305	SCOTT THE LOOT and CALA D'OR were the slowest to begin but they made up ground well to finish in 2nd and 4th places. CHARRINA HILL was handy going to the first corner but was checked and went back onto PLUM CRAZY and TAMMY'S FIRE and they all lost ground and finished in the last three places. TAMMY'S FIRE was referred to the Vet for assessment at the Trainers request and found to have a cut toe.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C0 - C0 - 305	WINE O'CLOCK, SCOTT A BOY and CAWBOURNE JAZZY jostled together for a short distance going to the first turn and lost momentum. SCOTT A BOY then checked off the heels of ORANGEY YELLOW going into the bend and lost ground and he stayed back at the rear for the remainder of the race. SCOTT A BOY was referred to the Vet for assessment as a precaution and found to have mild thigh pain.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE C1 - C1 - 305	ANOTHER KEY was slow to begin losing two lengths. The favourite OUR JACK ATTACK was awkwardly positioned in restricted room going to the first turn and he was shuffled back into a rear position where he stayed for the remainder of the race.
Race 7	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 520	All clear.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 305	GULLY CRUSHER shifted in going to the first corner and crowded PACIFIC VIBE onto ANNIE WAY which was checked losing four lengths. ANNIE WAY then shifted out to race very wide on the bend and into the straight covering extra ground and finished in last place. The winner SHEIKA SPRITE which had finished last in two previous starts in New Zealand, was always handy to the lead and won narrowly. When questioned regarding the improved performance, Trainers representative B.Cole stated that the dog had not received the best of runs in those two previous starts and it was also noted that it was almost a month since the last run and there was probably improvement from being fresh.
Race 9	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 520	INDEFINITE ORDER raced at the rear from the start and over the final stages drifted further behind and finished several lengths last. INDEFINITE ORDER appeared uncomfortable in her galloping action and was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. Trainer L.Hunt advised the Stewards that it was her intention to revert to sprint races in the bitches starts in the near future.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	CHIEF BAXTER was slow to begin losing four lengths. GULLY RUNNER shifted out going into the bend and caused checks to VIVA LA VIXEN, PRINCELY MONEY and PIXIE DUST and they lost four lengths and finished in the last three places.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 520	IZZY BOWEN and CAWBOURNE STEPS bumped together when the start was made and they lost ground and settled back. OLLIE BAXTER was checked going into the first turn and he went back to last and stayed there for the remainder of the race.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	RALLY SARIOUS began awkwardly losing three lengths. TEEVEE KITTY shifted out from the start and bumped SKINNY ANKLES which was unbalanced losing ground. TEEVEE KITTY continued to shift out and bumped DARK GARNAH onto THRILLING MIA and they were both unbalanced losing momentum. TEEVEE KITTY continued to race wide over extra ground and finished in last place. SKINNY ANKLES was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have thigh bruising.
Race 13	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	CHAOS THEORY shifted in from the start and bumped HOMEBUSH BOUNCE onto JUST YOU WAIT and all three were briefly unbalanced losing momentum.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	BELFAST SMARTY and HU XIAN jostled together for some distance going to and around the bend and HU XIAN was eventually unbalanced losing two lengths. She then recovered to make up ground and finished in 3rd place.
Race 15	METEOR OPD WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	PREMIER PRINCE shifted in going into the bend and forced TOTES in and this resulted in tightening and checks to BUZZY AS, BIGTIME CHIP and BUSTER BOY and they were unbalanced losing ground and finished in the last three places.
