| Race 1 | DogZone Sprint - C1 - 375 | CAWBOURNE NEVADA (2) came outwards after the start placing pressure on the racing room of BILL RUSH (3),TAKE THE SHORTS (5) and SHOT GUN HARRY (7). CAWBOURNE NEVADA was then dragged down by SHOTGUN HARRY after continuing to race up the track with this causing an inconvenience to TAKE THE SHORTS and BILL RUSH. CAWBOURNE NEVADA was then turned outwards by SHOT GUN HARRY exiting the bend. A post race Veterinary examination cleared CAWBOURNE NEVADA of any injury. AGENT SCHRADER (4) came outwards when entering the home straight bumping with JINJA MIA (6) which in turn impeded the racing line of UNILEVEN momentarily. |
| Race 2 | Box1 Gold Sprint - C0 - 375 | ALEX ATTACK (3) and MY FRIEND MIKE (7) were both slow to jump. FANTASTIC LUCY (8) came inwards at the start impeding the racing line of WILLI GASIT (6) with this runner having to check and lose ground. IDOL EVE (9/5) lost momentum when squeezed for racing room rounding the bend. |
| Race 3 | NZ Racing Series Novice Heat 1 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 1 | THRILLING ZAP (5) was squeezed for racing room through the early stages between OPAWA PENNY (4) and BORIS (6). BORIS then ran wide rounding the bend and struggled to maintain it's position with the field finishing a distance from the winner. This dog was subsequently stood down for 21 days after being found to have strained its right tricep muscle. |
| Race 4 | NZ Racing Series Novice Heat 2 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 2 | AUGELLO (9/6) was slow to jump. OPAWA PEACHES (5) was squeezed through the early stages between THRILLING SABRE (7) and OPAWA BUCKS (2) with the later two dogs then bumping briefly. |
| Race 5 | NZ Racing Series Novice Heat 3 - NZRSq - 457 Heat 3 | THRILLING EVIE (5) lost momentum after coming inwards at the jump bumping with OPAWA JANET (4). OPAWA JANET and TEEFONIC (6) jostled briefly shortly after the start. TEEFONIC then bumped with EM HOLLAND (7) approaching the bend. EM HOLLAND and MARY'S BAD BOY (8) then lost momentum when racing to the inside of EM HOLLAND entering the bend. |
| Race 6 | The Clubhouse Sports Bar Sprint - C4/5 - 375 | SANDOR GLEGANE (1) , POWDER JACK (4) and STYLISH FANCY (8) were slow through the early stages. NANGAR STAR (3) was squeezed between runners and lost ground when entering the bend and was then dragged down by LUCKY MAN (5), This in turn caused an inconvenience to SANDOR GLEGANE and POWDER JACK. NANGAR STAR was cleared of injury by the on course Veterinarian. |
| Race 7 | Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C4 - 375 | GUMBALANYA (7) began awkwardly before coming inwards and bumped with SPUD MISSLE (6). SIMPLE AND PLAIN (1) and JUMP UP (2) came together briefly after the start. BORIS GUM (4) was squeezed between ATOONGA AIR (3) and DON'T BRAGG (5) shortly after the start. ZIPPING STEVE (8) and DON'T BRAGG bumped when entering the bend. |
| Race 8 | Affordable Pet Accessories Sprint - C2 - 375 | FORTIS FLIER (5) came inwards at the start impeding the racing line of BIGTIME MOOLA (4) which in turn came down inconveniencing TRIDENT (3). FORTIS FLIER continued to come down the track and jostled with JINJA LUCA (2) briefly. FORTIS FLIER then lost momentum when tightened for racing room entering the bend. JINJA LUCA ran wide rounding the bend obliging OPAWA POPPY (7) and THRILLING WIGGLE (8) up the track. |
| Race 9 | Fond Foods Ltd Sprint - C1 - 375 | CORUBA CATE (4) was placed in restricted room between FANTASTIC ZOE (5) and PODIUM BONUS (3) shortly after the start and then ran wide rounding the bend. UNO NATHAN (6) lost momentum entering the home straight when being turned outwards by GROWLER JET (1) which was improving outwards to make a run. |
| Race 10 | Palamountains Nutrition Sprint - C3 - 375 | FABRELEE (6) proved difficult to load and will now be required to box first. WALTER MITTY (5) and FABRELEE came together shortly after the start. TYRION (4) lost momentum after WALTER MITTY became awkwardly placed to its outside. LITTLE DREAMS (2) lost ground with the field rounding the bend and finished a distance from the winner. LITTLE DREAMS was stood down for 42 days after a Veterinary examination revealed an injury to its right hock. This Bitch was treated on course with pain killers and anti inflammatory medication and will be having X -rays taken in the coming days. Trainer G Farrell advising she would be retiring LITTLE DREAMS from racing. |
| Race 11 | YGOT Bonus Scheme Stakes - C4 - 457 | MELHAM (3) checked off the heels of FANTASTIC RICKY (4) shortly after jumping before with STINGER (5). FANTASIC RICKY and STINGER then jostled in the run to the bend with this resulting in SOLARIAN (2) being slightly turned inwards. FANTASTIC RICKY then crowded the racing room of MELHAM which was severely turned outwards before placing itself awkwardly onto the heels of FANTASTIC RICKY which was This in turn caused a check to BUSTER BLUTH (1) with all three runners losing their chance. MELHAM underwent a post race Veterinary examination which revealed no injury. |
| Race 12 | Te Awamutu Self Storage Stakes - C2/3 - 457 | KINLOCH OSTI (5) came down the track shortly after start forcing ELECTRIC IMPULSE (3) down onto SPINEL (2). KINLOCH OSTI and SPINEL then came together entering the bend before SPINEL became awkwardly placed between KINLOCH TOSTI and the rail losing several lengths. |
