Judicial report: 1) Trainer M Grant was issued with a warning under Rule 68.2 after presenting ZORBA THE GREEK late for kenneling. 2) SID VALENSKI (A Williams) was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1.b. after the dog failed to pursue the lure in Race 2.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C0 - 295	ROYAL DESCENT (2), WAIMAK SHEFF (4) and IDOL BUTCHER (5) were tardy from the traps. SMASH FIRE (8) crossed quickly down the track in the early stages coming together with CATLIN BLUEBLOOD (3) and then jostled with IRIS EYES (1) which was attempting to run outwards. As IRIS EYES was losing ground it collided with CATLIN BLUEBLOOD and then continued to run wide checking IDOL BUTCHER. IRIS EYES was checked and cleared by the vet post race.
Race 2	Protexin Sprint - C0 - 295	FABRE'S LASS (4) and SMASH DEMAND (5) were both tightened in the early stages. At the end of the back straight TRENDY BLAKE (6) was badly dragged down by SMASH DEMAND with TRENDY BLAKE losing its footing and losing all chance. SMASH DEMAND also lost ground in this incident. A post race veterinary check of TRENDY BLAKE revealed a torn triceps muscle with a 21 day stand down recommended. UNO AGAIN (7) was checked on the bend and lost ground with JIMMY NAIL (2) and FABRE'S LASS inconvenienced as a result. On the home turn the pacemaking SID VALENSKI (1) eased for some distance free of interference and lost ground before chasing the lure again running into 4th place. A post race veterinary check revealed no injury. SID VALENSKI was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1.b. and must complete a satisfactory trial.
Race 3	Happy Birthday Murray Wigley Stakes - C0 - 520	TWENTY QUESTIONS (6) was a clear last at the jump. CAIRO (2) and SPRING SAM (4) collided in the early stages and lost ground. KELLY'S MY NAME (7) ran outwards on the first bend after avoiding the heels of OPAWA RICHIE (5) pushing FAB ACTION (8) wider on the track. CAIRO was then tightened and ran sharply outwards colliding with TWENTY QUESTIONS and FAB ACTION with this trio losing their chances. TWENTY QUESTIONS ran very wide in the back straight. OPAWA RICHIE was checked at the end of the back straight and lost ground. CAIRO, OPAWA RICHIE, TWENTY QUESTIONS and FAB ACTION were all referred to the vet for assessment and found to be free of injury.
Race 4	Hampden Tavern Sprint Heat 1 - C2q - 295 Heat 1	STRUGGLE IS REAL (6) was tightened in the early stages and lost ground. KNOW CHEERS (3), GIGANAIRE (4) and GOLDSTAR BOMBER (5) jostled for a few strides in the run to the bend. On the home turn FIERY FAGAN (1) angled outwards simultaneously to TIME SLAYER (8) running inwards with CAWBOURNE CRAIG (7) racing in restricted room in consequence. Stewards reviewed all angles of the home turn and were satisfied that Rule 79 was not breached by any runner.
Race 5	Happy Birthday Jenny Dryland Stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA JUDY (7) was last to jump. ALBIE PUNTER (2), HOMEBUSH SLOAN (3) and HILTON CUST (4) raced in restricted quarters through the first straight. In the run to the first bend NARITI (6) ran inwards tightening TRICKY ACTION (5) and HILTON CUST with this runner losing ground. NARITI was again checked on that bend dropping to the rear and causing an inconvenience to OPAWA JUDY (7) which was forced very wide. NARITI was dragged down at this point with a post race veterinary check revealing no abnormality.
Race 6	Hampden Tavern Sprint Heat 2 - C2q - 295 Heat 2	OPAWA ROCKET (3) was last on settling. COSMIC CHELSEA (5) was badly checked into the bend when vying to the lead with this bitch dropping to the rear. ZORBA THE GREEK (1) and OPAWA ROCKET were both hampered in this incident. COSMIC CHELSEA was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. CAWBOURNE SARAH (2) checked outwards off heels on the home turn pushing HELLO BLONDIE (7) over extra ground. OPAWA ROCKET ran inwards on the home turn checking ZORBA THE GREEK which was forced to check outwards losing momentum.
Race 7	DogZone Maiden Sprint Final - C0f - 295	KNOW HASSLE (4) and MULBERRY THUNDER (6) were the last pair on jumping. KNOW RESPECT (2) received a check into the bend and lost momentum. SARCASM (1) shifted up the track on the bend pushing WILLY BE BEST (5) and JINGA SNAG (8) over extra ground.
Race 8	Hampden Tavern Sprint Heat 3 - C2q - 295 Heat 3	GOSSIP QUEEN (6) was checked in the early stages and dropped to the rear. JACKPOT JAKE (8) ran inwards in the back straight pushing HOMEBUSH RILEY (4) down the track on to STARBURST EMMA (1) which was checked and lost ground. STARBURST EMMA was checked by the vet post race and found to have a torn webbing with a 14 day stand down recommended. ROYAL ACTION (5) shifted up the track in the home straight pushing OPAWA IDOL (7) over extra ground.
Race 9	Happy Birthday Craig White Stakes - C2 - 520	MAX STIX (2) was tightened in the early stages and lost ground. Wider out WITH PRIDE (8) ran inwards checking KNOW WORTH (7) which settled at the rear. Into the first bend OPAWA GRUNTER (1) angled outwards pushing KNOW MAYHEM (6) into the line of WITH PRIDE which fell. The trailing MAX STIX received a terminal check in this incident with KNOW WORTH badly hampered. MAX STIX, KNOW MAYHEM and WITH PRIDE were all checked and cleared by the vet post race.
Race 10	Shirley Vet Clinic Distance - C0d - 645	GOLDSTAR BOOMER (2) was a clear last on jumping. OPAWA BUCKS EYE (6) ran inwards into the first turn checking OPAWA PEACHES (5). GOLDSTAR BOOMER ran outwards in the home straight with a lap to run pushing GOLDSTAR SCOOTER over extra ground. GOLDSTAR BOOMER raced wide over the concluding stages. GOLDSTAR SCOOTER dropped out to finish a clear last with the vet reporting that the dog had tied up with no stand down considered necessary.
Race 11	Hampden Tavern Sprint Heat 4 - C2q - 295 Heat 4	FEAR MARINA (8) was last to jump. GO TOMMO (3), OPAWA LIBBY (4) and OHOKA COBY (5) collided in the early stages. OHOKA COBY then ran inwards pushing OPAWA LIBBY down the track. OPAWA LIBBY then appeared to strike the rail and run outwards pushing OHOKA COBY, BIGTIME TIP (6) and FEAR MARINA wider on the track.
Race 12	Hampden Tavern Sprint Heat 5 - C2q - 295 Heat 5	BO'S BUSINESS (10/7) was tightened in the early stages and dropped to the rear. TOKEN ACE (4) and SAHARA SAM (5) collided in the back straight losing ground.
