| Race 1 | Super Pets Stakes - C0 - 520 | NEW BROOM (8) was last to jump. OPAWA RICHIE (5) shifted wider on the track into the first bend and checked FAB ACTION (6) which was badly unbalanced. FAB ACTION then ran inwards colliding with SUCH FUN (9/7). On this bend OPAWA RICHIE ran inwards and was checked when NEW BROOM contacted its heels when attempting to improve to its inside. FAB ACTION was severely checked as OPAWA RICHIE was losing ground subsequent to this incident. OPAWA RICHIE and FAB ACTION were both referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 2 | Garden City Chem-Dry Sprint - C1 - 295 | SURGING EMBER (5) was last to jump. Into the bend CLEVER SAGE (3) ran inwards and collided with HOMEBUSH RILEY (2) with CLEVER SAGE losing ground. OPAWA LIBBY (8) checked off runners and was forced wide into the bend. FANCY NOMIKAI (6) received a slight check on the bend as SPEEDY BLUEBLOOD (1) shifted marginally off the rail. GIGANAIRE (7) raced very wide in the home straight. CLEVER SAGE was checked and cleared by the vet post race. |
| Race 3 | DogZone Maiden Sprint Heat 1 - C0q - 295 Heat 1 | PASS WITH CARE (9/3), ZANATO (4) and MULBERRY STORM (5) collided in the early stages. BELLE SOME (1) checked outwards into the bend with ZANATO receiving a severe check and BLACK TRYAX (7) forced wider on the track. MULBERRY STORM and PASS WITH CARE jostled for some strides on the turn when well back. On the home turn BLACK TRYAX ran inwards contacting BELLE SOME losing ground. |

HOMEBUSH SLOAN (3) also angled outwards in the early stages with COLDRUM (4) receiving a slight check. IRIS EYES (5) ran outwards in the home straight. |

HOTTIE DOTTIE (7) ran sharply inwards soon after the jump checking SMASH DEMAND (6), KNOW HASSLE (5) and TWENTY QUESTIONS (4) and then marred the running of UNO JASON (2) which lost ground. HOTTIE DOTTIE was stood down for 28 days as per Rule 79.1.a. and must complete a satisfactory trial. TWENTY QUESTIONS and HOTTIE DOTTIE both ran wide around the home turn. |

BIG JOHN CANON lost its chance in this incident. JEWEL EAGLE (1) was tightened in the run to the first bend and lost ground. WHIP UPPA STORM (2) and OPAWA JEMAINE (8) came together on the home turn with OPAWA JEMAINE becoming unbalanced and losing ground. The faller OPAWA PENNY was checked and cleared by the vet post race. |
| Race 8 | Barron's Supplies Dash - C1 - 295 | CABARITA (7) ran inwards in the early stages causing checks to KAYLAH BLUEBLOOD (6), SWEET ABBY LEE (5) and MISS HARPER (4). SPEEDY DISPATCH (3) was then tightened in the run to the bend. CABARITA lost ground when checking off the heels of LIL DIVA (1) on the bend inconveniencing the trailing SPEEDY DISPATCH. The winner ROYAL ACTION (8) fell at the lure and was checked and cleared by the vet post race. |
| Race 9 | Waihemo Lodge Hotel Dash - C2 - 295 | SAHARA SAM (3) was a shade slow to jump. TERRA ALERT (6) and UGO FLASH (5) were tightened in the back straight dropping to the rear. JACKPOT JAKE (2) raced wide in the home straight. |
| Race 10 | Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C2 - 295 | GOD PARTICLE (4) was a shade slow to begin. Into the bend BIGTIME TIP (6) ran inwards and blundered when contacting PLUTONIUM (3) which in turn was dragged down with GORILLA ON DRUMS (7) being forced wide in consequence. GO TOMMO (2) ran wide on the home turn. PLUTONIUM was checked and cleared by the vet post race. |
| Race 11 | Coalgate Tavern Dash - C2 - 295 | OPAWA ROCKET (7) and TIP THE BABE (8) were the last pair on settling. GOLDSTAR BOMBER (3) angled inwards into the bend causing tightening to TOKEN ACE (2) and BARCIA EXPRESS (1). ANOTHER FAN (6) and OPAWA ROCKET were both tightened on the bend losing ground with TIP THE BABE dragged down for a stride wider out. BARCIA EXPRESS raced wide around the home turn. |

ZORBA THE GREEK then shifted outwards marginally into the bend placing VOREDA (5) and HOMEBUSH RUFUS (7) in restricted room. COSMIC CHELSEA (2) and ZORBA THE GREEK jostled for some strides on the home turn. Further back VOREDA and HOMEBUSH RUFUS came together and lost momentum. |
