Judicial report: 1). OPAWA DIVA completed a satisfactory trial as per Rule 80. 2). OPAWA WHISPER (Lane & Wales) was stood down for 3 months under Rule 79.1.b. (Second indiscretion) and must trial to the satisfaction of Stewards on one occasion after failing to pursue the lure during race 10.

Race 1	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295	CABARITA (2) came inwards and crowded the racing room of MOBILIZE (1) through the early stages. KAYLAH BLUEBLOOD (7) also came inwards at the start and impeded the racing room of MAX BRAINSTRAIN (6) before bumping with LEXIE RAE (5) for several strides. HAYLEY JAMES (4) was awkwardly placed to the outside of GIANCANA (3) rounding the bend with this causing an inconvenience to KAYLAH BLUEBLOOD. MAX BRAINSTRAIN had to check to the outside of LEXIE RAE rounding the bend.
Race 2	Islington Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	GO McINDOE (4) was slow to jump. SURGING EMBER (5) had to check off the heels of PEP'S TERRA (7) shortly after the start. HOMEBUSH RILEY (6) lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the bend.
Race 3	Greyhounds As Pets Dash - C1 - 295	GRACIOUS OAK (5) was placed in restricted room through the early stages when racing between FLASH THE CASH (4) and SAM'S FLYIN NORM (6). FLASH THE CASH came outwards at the bend causing an inconvenience to SAM'S FLYIN NORM.
Race 4	Fast Archer At Stud Stakes - C1 - 520	CRAFTY ACTION (3) came inwards at the start and bumped with OPAWA JEMAINE (2). THRILLING LUKE (4) lost momentum when awkwardly placed to the heels of CAWBOURNE MIAMI (5) when racing into the first bend.
Race 5	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C1 - 295	ANOTHER CRUISE (7) came inwards at the start checking JINJA WILLY (5). HOLLY BLUE BLOOD (4) lost ground when placed in restricted room between SPEEDY DISPATCH (8) and SWEET ABBY LEE (3) shortly after the start.
Race 6	The Glenbyre Tavern Dash - C1 - 295	ADRENALIN KICK (3) was placed in restricted room between COLERIDGE JIM (2) and BIG JOHN CANON (5). COLERIDGE JIM was then severely checked after being dragged down when placed in restricted room between runners entering the bend. A post race veterinary examination revealed minor lacerations to it's hind legs consistent with being dragged down however no stand down period was deemed necessary.
Race 7	Super Pets Sprint Final - C1f - 295	SPARKLING TERRA (8) came up with the boxes and as a result jumped out a clear last. CLEVER SAGE (6) came inwards at the start placing pressure onto MISS HARPER (5). SPARKLING TERRA was held up for racing room rounding the turn. ABIT SCARLET (1) was obliged to check off the heels of TIME SLAYER (2) when entering the home straight with this forcing GIGANAIRE (8) up the track.
Race 8	Zebidiah At Stud Stakes - C1 - 520	JEWEL EAGLE (8) came inwards at the start and impeded the racing line of GOLDSTAR BOMBER (7). OPAWA PEACHES (9/4) made contact with WHIP UPPA STORM (6) and was slightly turned shortly after the start. WHIP UPPA STORM and JEWEL EAGLE then jostled in the lead up to the first bend. OPAWA BUCKS (2) checked off the heels of NESSIE ALLEN (3) when racing into the first bend with this causing a slight inconvenience to OPAWA PEACHES. WHIP UPPA STORM and JEWEL EAGE bumped when racing into the first bend with WHIP UPPA STORM then losing ground from the body of the field preceding this. A post race veterinary examination of this dog revealed lameness to its left fore wrist with a 10 day stand down imposed. FANCY NOMIKAI (5) was awkwardly placed between AMINO TROUBLE (1) and the rail prior to the home straight. FANCY NOMIKAI then fell to the track and slid under the running rail after clipping the heels of AMINO TROUBLE during the run to the finish with OPAWA BUCKS losing concentration. FANCY NOMIKAI was cleared of injury by the on course veterinarian.
Race 9	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C1 - 295	BHUJA (8) came inwards at the start and throughout the run to the bend placing KING CAESAR (7) awkwardly onto LIL DIVA (6) with KING CAESAR then checked and losing ground when entering the bend.
Race 10	MTA Gift Vouchers Dash - C1 - 295	JINJA BRIAN (7) was slow to jump. SMOKING MARLEY (2) and OPAWA WHISPER (3) were squeezed for racing room between ANOTHER PEARL (1) and SPEEDY BLUEBLOOD (4) just prior to the bend. OPAWA WHISPER then eased and turned its head outwards towards SPEEDY BLUEBLOOD forcing this runner and DEFINITE (8) up the track, with all these dogs losing their chance. A subsequent veterinary examination revealed no injury to OPAWA WHISPER. After viewing the available films and taking into account submissions from co trainer R Wales, Stewards were satisfied this dog had failed to pursue the lure as per Rule 79.1.b at this stage of the race and it given it was the dogs second indiscretion under Rule 79.1 it was stood down for the mandatory 3 month period and must complete a satisfactory trial prior to resuming. JINJA BRIAN had to check off the heels of ANOTHER PEARL when racing around the bend with this causing an inconvenience to SMOKING MARLEY.
Race 11	Hampden Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	GOLDSTAR SCOOTER (8) was slow to jump. SPARE ACTION (3) had to check off the heels of CAWBOURNE KENNY (7) upon entering the home straight. ANOTHER SPIN was subjected to a post race veterinary examination which revealed no clinical abnormalities after it began well however struggled to maintain a competitive position from half way down the back straight. Kennel Representative J McInerney (Jnr) advised the dog had not raced over the middle distance for some time and it was the kennels intention to race the dog back over the sprint distance given its performance today.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C1 - 295	ANOTHER VESPA (5) was squeezed between SKILLZ TAYLOR (4) and KATIE ATE IT (6) through the initial stages as the later came down the track. SKILLZ TAYLOR then lost all momentum when running out of racing room prior to the bend.
