Judicial report: TEEVEE KIWI completed a trial wearing blinkers and is now qualified to wear that item of gear when racing. KING'S CALL was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1 b for failing to pursue the lure throughout in race 3 and is required to complete a satisfactory trial before next racing. The charge against Trainer S.Stone which was to be presented before the JCA from the Wanganui GRC meeting on 24.06.16, was concluded today with Ms Stone being fined $ 100-00 under Rule 87.1 p for failing to pick up greyhound droppings as directed by displayed notice from the Club Manager E Woods.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 375	KING CORMACK, JACK'S UP and KIRKHAM JASPER were slow away from the boxes and lost three lengths. CAWBOURNE FROST shifted in across the line of ALQUEZAR going into the bend which resulted in a check to ALQUEZAR which went back onto KING SIMBA and they both lost momentum for a short distance. KING CORMACK shifted out and raced wide over extra ground into the home straight and he finished well back.
Race 2	Fahey Greyhounds C0 - C0 - 375	NOONOO shifted out going into the bend and caused checks to CHILL MORE, TAMMY'S FIRE and BEN NEVIS KNIGHT and they were briefly unbalanced losing a little ground and they stayed back to finish in the rear group.
Race 3	I Pave Concrete C1 - C1 - 375	CAWBOURNE PAWS and RALLY SARIOUS were the slowest to begin and lost three lengths. KING'S CALL turned his head in towards MARY BLUE BLOOD and they made brushing contact for some distance entering the home straight until KING'S CALL went ahead and he was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have lattisimus dorsi, gracilus, hip support and both pectoral muscle pain. However, KING'S CALL was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1 b and is required to run a satisfactory trial before next racing.
Race 4	Go to the Melbourne Cup with Boys Trip.co.nz C1 - C1 - 375	CABOURNE DOUST, ANOTHER PEARL, MR.MAIZE and REPEAT VISIT jostled together for a short distance when the start was made and they settled back. REPEAT VISIT was hampered going into the bend when awkwardly positioned between runners and he lost momentum. DARK GARNAH and ANOTHER PEARL bumped together at the rear on the home turn and they were unbalanced and stayed back to finish in the last two places.
Race 5	Buck Fever At Stud C4 - C4 - 375	CAWBOURNE MIDGET shifted in when going to the lead going into the bend and caused a check to CAWBOURNE ELPASO which lost ground and then galloped on the back of CAWBOURNE MIDGET and they both lost several lengths but recovered to finish in 3rd and 4th places.
Race 6	totalbodyshop.co.nz C1 - C1 - 375	CULVIE DEN was up in weight by 2.4 kilograms from his last start on 23.05.16 and this was intentional. OPAWA PERISSA was the slowest away from the boxes losing two lengths. GOODTIME LADY and OPAWA PERISSA raced very wide on the bend into the home straight covering extra ground. ZAMADDIS LASS suffered an injury as she crossed the finish line and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a hock injury.
Race 7	Red Snapper Seafoods Christchurch C1 - C1 - 375	KING HIT MIKE was down in weight by 1.9 kilograms from his last start on 23.05.16 and this was intentional. BOSTON THUNDER was slow to begin losing three lengths. MINIMAL was checked adjacent to the rail going to the first corner and he lost several lengths and stayed back for the remainder of the race. SKINNY ANKLES led for most of the race but faded over the final stages to finish in 3rd place. SKINNY ANKLES then fell in the pull up area and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have suffered temporary radial nerve paralysis.
Race 8	Shakey Jakey At Rocky Ridge C1 - C1 - 375	BIGTIME CHIP galloped on the heels of JOHNNY ANGEL going to the bend and they both lost four lengths and stayed back to finish in the last two places. The favourite AMERICANO was hampered soon after the start and settled back. She was then awkwardly positioned in restricted room going into the bend losing further ground and finished in 6th place.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C2 - C2 - 375	All clear.
Race 10	Preston's Master Butchers C2 - C2 - 375	TENNESSEE SMILE was checked going into the bend and went out and back onto FREDDY BEDROCK and they both lost four lengths and all chance and finished at the rear.
Race 11	Greyhounds As Pets C2/3 - C2/3 - 375	BIFFLE and CAWBOURNE LOCH bumped together when the start was made and they lost ground. ALLEGRO RUNNING shifted out going into the bend forcing CAWBOURNE LOCH wide over extra ground. BIFFLE and CAWBOURNE LOCH bumped together on the home turn and they were unbalanced losing ground and finished in the last two places.
