Track: Good After light overnight rain the track presented in a good racing condition by race 1 being well groomed throughout the meeting. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: CHARLIE BO BO ( W Hodgson )was a late scratching on vets advice from race 10 due to the dogs showing signs of being unwell when retrieved from it's kennel for this race.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 375	Soon after the start KILLALEA STAR when attempting to angle outwards bumped with BEN NEVIS KNIGHT as this runner angled across. Racing across the top bend ALQUEZAR in the lead angled across to the rail resulting in MR MAIZE running out of room for stride or so. In the run to the home turn NOONOO, SHE'S MUSTARD and KILLILEA STAR ran wide in to the home straight covering extra ground. SHE'S MUSTARD was referred to the vet on returning to the wash bay where a small laceration to the main pad of the near fore a 7 day stand down was recommended.
Race 2	Fahey Greyhounds C0 - C0 - 375	Racing from the boxes KNEAD YOU box 8 ran in bumping KING CORMACK who ran inwards across heels . Soon after the jump THRILLING SABRE ( fav ) angled in on to KING SIMBA bumping and jostling this runner for some distance as the field raced in to the first bend. As THRILLING SABRE got to the lead angling across KING SIMBA was tightened and checked going back to midfield. BILLY MARLOW and KING CORMACK ran widest in to the bend, on their inner CHARRINA HIL and KING SIMBA came together for a stride or so. BILLY MARLOW was referred to the vet on returning to the wash bay where a injury to the p5 claw on the near hind was found a 6 day stand down was recommended. The handler of RIB JACK HARRY requested a vet check which revealed left pectoral 7 right hip support pain a 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 3	I Pave Concrete C1 - C1 - 375	CLEARLY MAGIC box 4 dwelt at the start. HOMEBUSH BUCK box 7 was awkwardly away for a stride or so. CLEARLY MAGIC ran widest in to the first bend. BEV'S NEW POINT raced awkwardly for a couple of strides in to the first bend when getting on heels. BEV'S NEW POINT drifted off the back of the field in the run home finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have injuries to the left deltoid & right pectoral muscles a 14 day stand down was recommended.
Race 4	Red Snapper Seafoods Christchurch C1 - C1 - 375	CAWBOURNE SERINA ( fav ) from box 1 wasn't the best away, soon after getting in stride CAWBOURNE SERINA was bumped and checked as SHEIKA SPRITE angled in across the face of LEKTRA SPIDER who lost momentum going back to the rear. CAWBOURNE SERINA race midfield across the top bend then ran wide in to the home straight losing ground back past midfield, when balanced up CAWBOURNE SERINA finished strongly in the latter stages to finish in to 2nd placing at the line.
Race 5	Go to the Melbourne Cup with Boys Trip.co.nz C1 - C1 - 375	From the jump CAWBOURNE BRAY box 8 and QUEVADO bumped. Racing in to the first bend BUSINESS REVIEW racing to the lead angled inwards pushing RIKKI'S REBEL in on to ALLEGRO BEAU ( fav ) both these runners were hampered for a stride or so, Wider out racing in to the bend QUEVADO when attempting to angle out wide tangled with CAWBOURNE BRAE for hampering this runner for several strides pushing him wide on to the top bend. CAWBOURNE BRAE was referred to the vet after appearing to be showing signs of lameness returning to the kennel block and was found to have scar tissue to pad p4 on the near fore being from a previous injury a 4 day stand down was recommended. QUEVADO continued to race wide running right to the outside of the track in the run down the home straight where the dog appeared to be uncomfortable in his galloping action finishing a margin in the rear at the line. QUEVADO was referred to the vet for assessment. CAWBOURNE BRAE was referred to the vet as a precaution.
Race 6	totalbodyshop.co.nz C2 - C2 - 375	HOMEBUSH JUSTINE led in to the first bend where she was bumped as INDIVIDUAL LILY improved up on the outer angling inwards ,INDIVIDUAL LILY went back a length on to GRAND ALLEGRO checking this runner back to the rear. GRAND ALLEGRO was unable to get back in to contention finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 7	Buck Fever At Stud C2 - C2 - 375	This race was started approx. 3 minutes over time due to the minimal times between races for handlers to prepare from previous races. racing in to the first bend there was tightening as CAWBOURNE HINT and KIRKHAM JACK improved in to the body of the field resulting in BIG WONDER running out of room catching heels stumbling going down on her nose. BIG WONDER recovered quickly but had lost all chance finishing a margin in last placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 8	Shakey Jakey At Rocky Ridge C3 - C3 - 375	All clear
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C1 - C1 - 457	CAWBOURNE JARROD box 3 dwelt at the start . In the run to the first bend COSMIC BOSS ( fav ) angled in across heel bumping in to MINIMA both dogs hampered for a stride or so. Racing in to the first bend COSMIC BOSS followed KIRHAM HARVEY in the run across the top bend but was unable to improve finishing in 5th placing at the line.
Race 10	The Wright Decorators C2 - C2 - 457	CHARKIE BO BO was a late scratching at pre race presentation on vets advice after showing signs of being unwell. RED EXPRESS ( fav ) missed the jump being last away by 5 lengths. Racing in to the first bend RED EXPRESS when attempting to improve in to the field was forced to check out over the heels of ALLEGRO BEATY and was unable to improve there after finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 11	Preston's Master Butchers R/A - R/A - 457	ZIPPING JOCK box 2 was once again slowest in to stride today, racing 5 or so lengths last to the first bend where he improved soon after getting on the heels of SWIFTLY CHLOE a couple of times, ZIPPING JOCK lost ground outwards for a few strides and was unable to get back in to contention there after finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 12	wheeldeal.co.nz C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	TOP PROSECUTOR from box 4 was away well in the early stages. racing towards the first bend when in behind the leaders TOP PROSECUTOR ran outwards bumping with KNUCKLE BUMP. TOP PROSECUTOR went back to last in the running and was unable to improve there after finishing several lengths in the rear at the line. TOP PROSECUTOR was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have a right triceps muscle injury a 14 day stand down was recommended.
