Judicial report: G & M Hunt were issued with a minor infringement under Rule 69.11 and fined $100 for presenting KNOCKA SLOY with a 1.8kg decrease in weight from its previous start on the 12th of May 2016.

Race 1	Stitches Upholstery Sprint - C3 - 318	GOOD RETURN (5) began awkwardly losing ground. SOMETIME SOON (7) shifted in leaving the boxes inconveniencing ATOONGA AIR (6) who shifted in making contact with SKYLER WHITE (3). SOMETIME SOON (7) shifted in across the heels of JINJA FANTASY (4) entering the first turn checking ATOONGA AIR which lost ground inconveniencing GOOD RETURN and ROCKIN' FANCY (8). WAERENGA STAR (1) was tightened and checked losing ground rounding the first turn. GOOD RETURN was referred to the veterinarian following this event which revealed a laceration to the left hind with a 7 day stand down imposed.
Race 2	Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Stakes - C1 - 527	EMBRACE ME (4) and TRENDY MIND (6) were slow away. LOCHINVAR MAINE (8) shifted in making contact with TRENDY MIND for several strides racing toward the first turn with TRENDY MIND checked making contact with ROMAN ACTION (3) losing ground. LOCHINVAR MAINE then continued to shift in checking ROMAN ACTION and MR. FUSS POT (1) entering the first turn.
Race 3	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C0 - 318	CELESTIAL ACTION (1) was slow away. CYNDI ACTION (7) shifted in leaving the boxes checking HOT STAR (6) then making contact with TEN FEET TALL (5) which shifted in onto SCOTT NO SHOW (10) which then shifted in hampering GIMME HOT CHIPS (2) and RAGING DEMON (3). HOT STAR and HOW'S YOUR MUM (8) made solid contact for some distance racing down the back straight with HOW'S YOUR MUM losing ground entering the first turn. RAGING DEMON (3), TEN FEET TALL and CYNDI ACTION came together on several occasions racing down the back straight with RAGING DEMON and CYNDI ACTION losing ground with these runners then making solid contact entering the first turn. HOW'S YOUR MUM raced greenly rounding the final bend.
Race 4	Pump and Engineering Ltd Sprint - C4 - 318	MR. MUMBLES (2), KIT AND CABOODLE (3) and HALLO STAR (4) came together soon after the start. SACRED CAN YOU (6) was tightened and hampered soon after the start when THRILLING GALAXY (7) shifted in and BRITNEY STAR (9) shifted out with these runners then coming together for some distance racing down the back straight with THRILLING GALAXY then hampered losing ground entering the first turn when NO MORE DEBT (8) shifted in making solid contact with these runners. As a result THRILLING GALAXY shifted in entering the first bend tightening SACRED CAN YOU, MR. MUMBLES and KIT AND CABOODLE with these runners hampered losing ground.
Race 5	DogZone Stakes - C1/2 - 527	COSMIC BOSS (6) was tightened soon after the start making contact with ELECTRIC IMPULSE (5) who shifted out and GOLFING BUDDY (7) who shifted in. ELECTRIC IMPULSE and COSMIC BOSS came together racing into the first turn with these runners then hampered and taken wider when BORIS (2) shifted out off the heels of DIVA POSE (4). Also inconvenienced as a result was GOLFING BUDDY which was also taken wider. BORIS, FOREVER IRIS (9) and COSMIC BOSS came together rounding the first turn losing ground.
Race 6	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C2 - 318	EKALI (7) was last to leave the boxes. GO ANDWYN (2) and COOKIE MONSTER (3) came together at the start. Soon after the start ROTOVEGAS RARA (8) shifted in making contact with EKALI who was checked losing ground. GO ANDWYN and COOKIE MONSTER came together rounding the first turn losing ground. Also inconvenienced as a result was ROTOVEGAS RARA. SCREAMING SKULL (1) shifted out making solid contact with DIPSY LALA (6) rounding the bend with SCREAMING SKULL losing ground shifting wide. GO ANDWYN and COOKIE MONSTER came together entering the final straight. ROTOVEGAS RARA was referred to the veterinarian following this event with a 28 day stand down imposed.
Race 7	Plasterboard Duke of Edinburgh Silver Collar Heat 1 - C2dq - 779 Heat 1	GOLDSTAR AVERY (4) was last to leave the boxes. ALAMEIN JUDE (9) shifted in soon after the start making contact with JAZZBOY JACK (6). TEEMARIA (1) made brief contact with the hindquarters of GOLDSTAR JAGGER (2) soon after leaving the boxes. Racing down the back straight HERITAGE WATCH made brief contact with the hindquarters of GOLDSTAR AVERY with HERITAGE WATCH shifting out losing ground. ALAMEIN JUDE shifted in making contact with the hindquarters of JAZZBOY JACK racing into the first turn with JAZZBOY JACK then shifting in into the line of GOLDSTAR AVERY which was checked with JAZZBOY JACK then making contact with GOLDSTAR JAGGER which then shifted in coming together with TEEMARIA for several strides. As a result GOLDSTAR AVERY shifted out hampering ALAMEIN JUDE which was taken wider with ALAMEIN JUDE then losing ground making contact with HERITAGE WATCH with both runners briefly unbalanced. GOLDSTAR JAGGER and JAZZBOY JACK came together rounding the bend leaving the home straight on the first occasion.
Race 8	Plasterboard Duke of Edinburgh Silver Collar Heat 2 - C2dq - 779 Heat 2	BLACK DUDE (1) was the last to leave the boxes. MONTANA (8) shifted in leaving the boxes tightening runners to the inside with SHANDELL (7) and GOLDSTAR PO (6) losing ground MONTANA then continuing to shift in tightening WHO DAT BOY (5), SEEKING JUSTICE (4), WILLIS (3), BIG RED CHEV (2) and BLACK DUDE with these runners all hampered. WILLIS, SHANDELL and GOLDSTAR PO then came together racing down the back straight with WILLIS and GOLDSTAR PO unbalanced losing ground. WILLIS and GOLDSTAR PO came together rounding the first turn. Entering the first turn SHANDELL angled in making contact with WHO DAT BOY (5) who was taken in onto the heels of SEEKING JUSTICE losing ground with SHANDELL and SEEKING JUSTICE then coming together becoming unbalanced. Also inconvenienced as a result was BLACK DUDE who had to steady and shift out off the heels of WHO DAT BOY.
Race 9	Sunline Trophy Stakes - SPECA - 527	CALYPSO STAR (8) was last to leave the boxes. LOVELY RITA (2) and JINJALESS (3) came together leaving the boxes. APRIL'S MY MUM (5) shifted out soon after the start making contact with THRILLING RIOT (6) which came toget5her with CRYING IN VEGAS (7)with these runners making contact for a distance racing into the first turn with THRILLING RIOT losing ground and CRYING IN VEGAS and APRIL'S MY MUM then making solid contact with these runners shifting in into the line of THRILLING RIOT who had to steady off heels. LOVELY RITA and JINJALESS came together rounding the rounding the first turn. Rounding the first turn APRIL'S MY MUM and CRYING IN VEGAS made solid contact with these runners badly hampered losing considerable ground. Also badly hampered losing ground as a result was THRILLING RIOT. FORTIS FLIER (1) and GLOBAL CONQUEST (4) came together rounding the final bend. APRIL'S MY MUM and CRYING IN VEGAS were referred to the veterinarian following this event with no abnormalities detected.
Race 10	Auckland Oaks Final - R/Af - 527	Soon after the start NEW LOOK (5) shifted in checking MISS ELDORA (4) then made solid with FANTASTIC RICKI (3). AUNTY TRACE (7) shifted in soon after the start making contact with FALL FROM GRACE (6) who was taken in onto NEW LOOK with these runners unbalanced. Entering the first turn FALL FROM GRACE shifted in inconveniencing NEW LOOK then made solid contact with the hindquarters of MISS ELDORA becoming unbalanced. Rounding the first turn MISS ELDORA shifted in into the line of NEW LOOK who was checked shifting out off this runners heels losing ground. Rounding the final bend NANGAR GEM (9) was held up on the heels of MISS ELDORA for several strides.
Race 11	Carol's TAB Clendon Inn Sprint - C5 - 318	VON TRAPP (4) made contact with the hindquarters of NANGAR STAR (5) for several strides soon after the start. Racing toward the first turn EFFECTIVE POWER (8) shifted in onto VON TRAPP which was checked. NANGAR STAR shifted in making contact with MADE TIME (7) rounding the first turn with MADE TIME losing ground going back onto EFFECTIVE POWER with these runners losing momentum. As a result VON TRAPP shifted out off the heels of EFFECTIVE POWER hampering STYLISH FANCY (6) who was badly unbalanced losing considerable ground. YEBOAH (2) raced wide entering the final straight. A post race veterinary examination of STYLISH FANCY revealed no abnormality.
Race 12	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318	G & M Hunt were issued with a minor infringement under Rule 69.11 and fined $100 for presenting KNOCKA SLOY with a 1.8kg decrease in weight from its previous start on the 12th of May 2016. KNOCKA SLOY (5) and MADSTONE (7) were slow away. IDOL GEE (8) shifted in soon after the start making solid contact with TINY GREY (3). TINY GREY then shifted in coming together with SCOTT NO VALUE (2) which came together with LET'S GO SPRITE (1) with these three runners jostling for a distance. TRIDENT (4) and JUST ABOUT READY (6) came together and jostled for a distance racing down the back straight with these runners then further hampered when MADSTONE shifted in entering the first turn taking these runners in onto SCOTT NO VALUE and TINY GREY with TINY GREY and JUST ABOUT READY badly unbalanced losing ground. TINY GREY had to steady off the heels of JUST ABOUT READY rounding the bend when racing at the rear of the field.
