Judicial report: M Smith was issued with a minor infringement and fined $50 for failing to catch ZALIA as arranged following race 9. BOW RIVER MAN was re examined by the veterinarian following being stood down for 42 days from the 1st of May 2016 and cleared fit to race with this stand down now rescinded.

Race 1	Hewlett Electrical Sprint - C1 - 318	LURE ME IN was presented with a 1.5kg decrease in weight from its last start with the connections advising this was intentional. GROWLER JET (4) was slow away. Racing down the back straight BOTANY BEV (3) was inconvenienced shifting out off heels making contact with SCOTT NO LIMBS (7) for a several strides. Racing toward the first turn SCOTT SOME TICKA (6) shifted in making solid contact with STAINLESS KNOCKA (2). STAINLESS KNOCKA and SCOTT NO LIMBS came together rounding the bend.
Race 2	DogZone Sprint - C0 - 318	MINUTE SIXTEEN was a late scratching at 3.43pm on veterinary advice. GRACE SLICK (3) and SCOTT TIED UP (8) were slow away. HANAO (1) and ALL HAIL CAESAR (2) came together racing down the back straight with these runners shifting out coming together with TEN FEET TALL (6) with these runners jostling for a distance with ALL HAIL CAESAR tightened then severely checked losing considerable ground racing toward the first turn. HANAO and TEN FEET TALL then came together on several occasions rounding the first turn with TEN FEET TALL shifting in tightening HANAO who was hampered having to shift out across this runners hindquarters with both runners unbalanced losing ground. HANAO and TEN FEET TALL came together over the concluding stages. TEN FEET TALL was referred to the veterinarian with no abnormality detected. The veterinarian found HANAO to have right metatarsal pain following this event with a 10 day stand down imposed.
Race 3	Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint - C1 - 318	KRACK IT was a late scratching at 1.50pm on veterinary advice. SAVED BY LOVE (2) and SCOTT TO GO (8) were the last to leave the boxes. UNO MARCUS (4) made contact with the hindquarters of TINY GREY (5) soon after the start. SAVED BY LOVE and UNO MARCUS made brief contact racing into the back straight. Entering the first turn WOBOURN ABBEY (1) was tightened losing ground making contact with SAVED BY LOVE. TINY GREY and JACQUI ATTACK came together rounding the first turn with TINY GREY then losing ground. WOBOURNE ABBEY and TINY GREY came together for several strides rounding the final bend with TINY GREY losing ground.
Race 4	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C3 - 318	OUR SAMBO was presented with a 1.3kg decrease in weight from its last start with the connections advising this was intentional. ROCKIN' FANCY (2) and JINJA FANTASY (9) came together racing toward the first turn with JINJA FANTASY then coming together with SOMETIME SOON (7) for several strides with these runners shifting out inconveniencing OUR SAMBO (8).
Race 5	Stitches Upholstery Series Heat 1 - C2q - 318 Heat 1	THRILLING FORSET was a late scratching at 3.56pm on veterinary advice. OPAWA UNO (4) and COOKIE MONSTER were last to leave the boxes. TONGARIRO (3) was inconvenienced shifting out off heels rounding the first turn. OPAWA UNO (4) and WAIRIO DEE JAY (8) came together for a distance rounding the bend with these runners shifting wide rounding the final bend losing ground.
Race 6	Stitches Upholstery Series Heat 2 - C2q - 318 Heat 2	KAPAI LANA (3) was slow away and then further inconvenienced when EKALI (5) and CASUAL SLIPPER (2) came together. WALTER MITTY (7) and RED RASCAL (8) came together soon after the start and continued to make contact racing down the back straight with these runners shifting wide losing ground entering the first turn. DIPSY LALA (1) was tightened entering the first turn making contact with EKALI and going back onto CASUAL SLIPPER (2) who lost ground. HAYLEY HOLT (4) and SONIC ATTACK (6) came together rounding the bend with HAYLEY HOLT losing ground going back onto DIPSY LALA who was checked. HAYLEY HOLT and RED RASCAL came together rounding the bend with HAYLEY HOLT then shifting out across the hindquarters of RED RASCAL inconveniencing KAPAI LANA who shifted very wide losing ground. CASUAL SLIPPER was inconvenienced becoming awkwardly placed on heels entering the final straight.
Race 7	Greyhounds North Maiden Distance - C0d - 603	BORIS GUMP was a late scratching at 10.33pm after becoming unwell. OPAWA GAVIN (7) and CAWBOURNE WALES (8) came together soon after the start with OPAWA GAVING shifting in contact the heels of EM HOLLAND (5). APRIL'S MY MUM (2) and PODIUM BONUS (4) came together rounding the first turn and again entering the bend leaving the front straight on the first occasion.
Race 8	McGhie Plumbing Sprint - C2 - 318	LITTLE RASCAL (6) was hampered losing ground soon after the start when BILL RUSH (7) shifted in and OPAWA POPPY (5) shifted out with these runners then coming together. Racing down the back straight MISS VELOCETTE (2) and LITTLE RASCAL were tightened and hampered when SPOTTED FLYER (1) shifted out and DRURY (8) shifted in. Racing into the first turn MISS VELOCETTE and DRURY came together. SPOTTED FLYER and BILL RUSH came together rounding the first turn losing ground going back onto DRURY who was checked shifting in hampering LITTLE RASCAL who lost ground.
Race 9	Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527	GOLFING BUDDY (6) came together with BARRA BOY (7) and BORIS (5) soon after the start. JINJA MIA (3) shifted out inconveniencing g ZALIA (4), BORIS and BARRA BOY rounding the first turn. Rounding the first bend ZALIA and GOLFING BUDDY came together with these runners then further hampered losing ground when BORIS shifted in making contact with these runners.
Race 10	Pump and Engineering Ltd Stakes - C3/4 - 527	SHARELLA (2) began awkwardly making contact with OUR HEISENBERG (3). OPAWA KURU (6) shifted in soon after the start hampering THRILLING RIOT (5), MR. MUMBLES (4) and OUR HEISENBERG. Entering the first turn OPAWA KURU, EVA KANEVA (7) and NEW LOOK (8) made solid contact entering the first turn. EVA KANEVA and THRILLING RIOT (5) then came together with NEW LOOK then shifting in tightening EVA KANEVA who was checked losing ground with THRILLING RIOT and NEW LOOK then making contact.
Race 11	Carol's TAB Clendon Inn Sprint - C3/4 - 318	SECOND TIME (1),ZIPPING STEVE (2), NO MORE DEBT (3), SACRED CAN YOU (4), ANUI (5), SANDOR GLEGANE (6) and TEE KAY YAPPER (7) all came together in a compact line soon after the start with SECOND TIME, NO MORE DEBT, SACRED CAN YOU and SANDOR GLEGANE losing ground. SACRED CAN YOU and SANDOR GLEGANE came together racing toward the first turn.
Race 12	Greyhound Function Centre Sprint - C1 - 318	TAKE THE SHORTS (5) was last to leave the boxes and was then further inconvenienced making contact with the hindquarters of IDOL GEE (4) for several strides. LOCHA KNOCKA (7) and FORTIS FIONA (8) came together soon after the start and jostled for a distance. Racing down the back straight MORE SALT NEEDED (6) shifted in making contact with IDOL GEE who was taken in onto PLAITING PUSS (3) and SCOTT MY MONEY (1) with these runners continuing to make contact for a distance losing ground. BOTANY HOT SHOT (2) and FORTIS FIONA (8) came together rounding the first turn losing ground. SCOTT MY MONEY and MORE SALT NEEDED came together rounding the first turn with MORE SALT NEEDED losing ground going back onto IDOL GEE who was hampered losing considerable ground. TAKE THE SHORTS raced wide rounding the final bend. A post race veterinary examination of IDOL GEE revealed no abnormality.
