Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295	IDOL BUTCHER (7) came inwards at the jump and made contact with SURGING EMBER (6) which in turn forced BOTANY CALYPSO (5) down onto DAVE'S DISASTER (4). DAVE'S DISASTER (4) then checked off the heels of IDOL BUTCHER when racing into the bend and then raced wide up the track.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Maureen Kingston Dash - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH FREDA (7) was slow through the initial stages. CHARLIE RUNKEL (4) came inwards in the run to the bend and jostled with BEN JAMMING (3) which was then turned by FILL YA BOOTS (9/5) when racing in restricted room entering the bend, CHARLIE RUNKEL then faltered in its gait and lost momentum when racing round the bend. A post race veterinary examination revealed CHARLIE RUNKEL to have sustained an injury to its left gracilis muscle requiring a stand down of 7 days. HOMEBUSH FREDA was placed in restricted room entering the home straight and brushed the running rail.
Race 3	Garrard's Horse & Hound Dash - C2 - 295	ZORBA THE GREEK (1) was slow to jump. HOMEBUSH HANDSOME (8) came inwards at the start and bumped with WOW MADONNA (7). GOLDSTAR BOMBER (5) was squeezed between runners and lost ground through the early stages. JACKPOT JAKE (6) came down the track in the run to the bend jostling with JIMMY HAMMER (4). JIMMY HAMMER was stood down for 28 days after being found to have dislocated a toe on its right hind leg post race.
Race 4	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C0 - 520	CENOTAPH (1) and REPLICA YELLA (3) both missed the jump by a considerable distance. OPAWA MERC (2) became awkwardly placed on the heels of SMASH FIRE (4) when entering the first bend and was forced up the track. OPAWA MERC was then checked and lost momentum exiting the first bend when racing to the outside of SMASH FIRE after this bitch was forced wider by REPLICA YELLA which was improving to its inside. This caused an inconvenience to ZANATO (7). A post race veterinary examination of OPAWA MERC revealed no injury.
Race 5	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH SKIP (1) was slow to jump. CATLIN BLUEBLOOD (5) lost ground when squeezed between runners through the early stages. MINOR BRAINWAVE (3) jumped outwards off the heels of LIL DIVA (2) when approaching the bend causing an inconvenience to GRACIOUS OAK (6) and MACHINE MAN (10/8) to turn and lose momentum. HOMEBUSH SKIP checked off the heels of MACHINE MAN rounding the bend.
Race 6	Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C2 - 295	SWEET MARYLOU (7) came inwards at the start and crowded the racing room of WHIP UPPA STORM (6) which lost ground. ZIRCON (5) lost momentum when awkwardly placed to the heels of FIERY FAGAN (4) approaching the bend with this resulting in SWEET MARY LOU having to check off heels.
Race 7	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Dash - C3 - 295	CAWBOURNE CRAIG (4) was slow to jump. SOUTHERN BLUE (8) lost ground when awkwardly placed to the outside of HOMEBUSH ARIEL (5) entering the bend. BO'S BUSINESS (1) lost all momentum approaching the bend when squeezed for racing room to the inside of REPLAY (3).
Race 8	Go The Crusaders Stakes - C2 - 520	ARCANE SABRE (3) lost momentum when squeezed for racing room in the run to the first bend by HIP HOP SOFIA (2) and OPAWA ROCKY (4). HIP HOP SOFIA and OPAWA ROCKY bumped on several occasions when racing round the first bend.
Race 9	Zebidiah At Stud Sprint - C2 - 295	PATCHWORK ALICE (8) came inwards through the early stages crowding THORACIC (7) and BROOK DAVIS (6). SPEEDY DISPATCH lost ground when awkwardly placed to the inside of BROOKE DAVIS prior to the bend. THORACIC ran up the track rounding the bend.
Race 10	MTA Gift Vouchers Sprint - C3 - 295	FLIBERTY JIBERTY (8) and WEARS THE GOLD (6) came together shortly after the start. ULTRA ACTION (5) came down the track through the earl stages forcing STARBURST EMMA (4) down to the rail. MULBERRY BROOK (1) lost all momentum when placed in restricted room between HUMAN INSTINCT (3) and the running rail when entering the bend. This in turn caused a inconvenience to STARBURST EMMA, HOMEBUSH ZIPPY (10/2) and ULTRA ACTION and WEARS THE GOLD.
Race 11	Shirley Vet Clinic Maiden Final - C0f - 520	CAIRA (9/4) began awkwardly. SUCH FUN (5) was squeezed between runners through the early stages. HILTON CUST (7) had to check when racing to the inside of SLICK ACTION (6) entering the final bend.
Race 12	Snow-e Muscle, Energy & Fertility Dash - C3 - 295	TIMELY REMINDER (4) was slow to jump and was then forced down the track by BELLA GRACE (5) which had pressure from SCREW AND BOLT (6). SCREW AND BOLT the continued down the track hampering CABOURNE SARAH (3). IMPERSONATOR (1), BURN EARLY (2) and BARCIA EXPRESS (7) all had to check when placed in restricted room while negotiating the bend as HOMEBUSH PAIGE (8) eased down the track with this runner also hampered.
