BARNICLE BULLET (5) and GREET THE JUDGE (1) were awkwardly placed on the heels of COLLECTING MONEY (6) racing into the bend resulting in all three dogs losing momentum. The trailing OPAWA LEAN MEAT and JINJA BILLY (8) were also checked. WOOLY WHATSIT was examined by the Vet following the race and cleared of injury. |
| Race 2 | Mac Developments Stakes - C3 - 520 | CHIPPA LATA (3) and LUMINARY (7) collided racing into the first bend. ZIPPING SONNY (4) and OPAWA GUMISIE (2) also came together racing into the first bend. RUSHCUTER ACTION (1) and JINJA JAFFA (6) bumped rounding the first bend. ESTER ACTION (5) was checked by LUMINARY entering the final bend with the trailing RUSHCUTER ACTION being checked and forcing JINJA JAFFA and KNOW LAPSE (8) wider on the track. RUSHCUTER ACTION and JINJA JAFFA collided in the early stages of the home straight. |

Racing into the bend MANDI MAE (1) was tightened by AIR EXPRESS and lost ground with the trailing MARK BE GOOD being checked. CAWBOURNE MATTY and MICKEY TEE made contact rounding the bend. Shortly after MICKEY TEE and BREAKING MAD (8) came together. MARK BE GOOD ran wide in the home straight. |

RICK'S TREASURE (5) shifted inwards in the early stages checking PUMA PANTS (4), ROADWORKS (3) and OPAWA ROCKET (1). ROADWORKS was checked by TINA (6) approaching the bend. OPAWA ROCKET was tightened racing into the bend by RICK'S TREASURE. LITTLE REGUS was examined by the Vet following the race and found to have a dislocated tail with a 7 day stand down recommended. |

OHOKA BILLY, CARNEGIE HALL, GRAND APACHE and GRIFINATOR collided racing into the bend. HOMEBUSH RUFUS and OHOKA BILLY came together in the home straight. CARNEGIE HALL was examined by the Vet following the race and cleared of injury. |

WHEELCHAIR NORM (6), TECHNIC (5) and NEW THANG (3) came together in the early stages. NEW THANG made contact with the heels of RAND (10) rounding the bend resulting in RAND losing momentum. RAND was examined by the Vet following the race and found to have soreness to its right wrist with a 7 day stand down recommended. When spoken to regarding the improved performance of BELIEVE, trainer B Dann advised that the dog had been checked in the early stages at its last start and had appreciated being freshened for tonight's race. |
| Race 9 | Active Electrical Christchurch NZ St Leger Heat 1 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1 | GOLDSTAR AVERY (3) and MAJESTIC ACTION (4) came together in the early stages. OPAWA KEVIN (7) and RAEWYN (6) collided racing into the first bend checking the trailing MAJESTIC ACTION and GOLDSTAR AVERY with GOLDSTAR AVERY losing several lengths. |

JON SNOW LIVES (1) was tightened approaching the first bend when racing to the inside of OM NOM NOM (2) and ARCTIC ACTION (3). JON SNOW LIVES and NINA BAXTER collided racing into the first bend. OM NOM NOM and ARCTIC ACTION also collided racing into the first bend with OM NOM NOM losing ground. OM NOM NOM was examined by the Vet following the race and cleared of injury. |

| Race 12 | Protexin Sprint - C4 - 295 | OPAWA CRUSADE (7), SUPER BAD (6), BOUND TO ERUPT (5) and RED MARGIN (4) collided in the early stages. SUPER BAD was checked racing into the bend when positioned between MAUDIE'S BABE and RED MARGIN with the trailing OPAWA CRUSADE being hampered. OPAWA CRUSADE checked off the heels of RED MARGIN in the early stages of the run home. |
