Judicial report: ATOMIC RUSH underwent a veterinary examination after having been stood down at the Auckland GRC's meeting held 26/03/16 and cleared for daytime racing only.

Race 1	Happy Mothers Day Sprint - C2 - 318	The start was deferred by 2 minutes at the request of the TAB. WAERENGA STAR (5) shifted shortly after the start forcing SKYLER WHITE (4) down onto JUMP ON IT (3) and AGENT SCHRADER (2). Entering the first turn EKALI (8) got onto the hindquarters of FRANKINCENSE (7) and fell heavily. JUMP ON IT lost considerable ground entering the first turn when to the inside of EVA KANEVA which shifted in. JUMP ON IT then had to check off the heels of WAERENGA STAR on the final turn when at the rear. EKALI was referred to the Vet for assessment which revealed no abnormality.
Race 2	AGRC Rewards Sprint - C0 - 318	VEGAS BURST (2), which had not raced since 04/02/16, was down 2.5kg at weighing which was confirmed as intentional by Trainer P Henley. TEN FEET TALL (7) and MID COLLISION (8) were slow to jump. TINY GREY (5) shifted out on jumping hampering HOT STAR (6) briefly. ON DEMAND (1) shifted out entering the first turn contacting EM HOLLAND (3), which was forced out onto HOT STAR, with that runner then racing wide. MID COLLISION lost ground on the turn when in restricted room to the inside of ON DEMAND. MID COLLISION was referred to the Vet for assessment which revealed an injury to the near fore paw with a 28 day stand down imposed.
Race 3	Plasterboard Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527	CHATEAU NEUF (6) shifted in entering the first turn checking JETSUN QUAKER (7), which lost a length, and JELLY GEM (9 -Box 2) for a stride. ZALIA (4) and MONTANA (1) made contact on entering the home straight with ZALIA then shifting up the track.
Race 4	Stitches Upholstery Series Final - C2f - 318	SPEARMINT JUJU (8) was a late scratching at 10.20am with a 21 day stand down imposed. BEE LICHTER (1) was slow to jump. SPRITE ON TIME (6) and RED RASCAL (7) came together for several strides shortly after the start. LOOKS ALL GOOD (3) had to check off the heels of OUR JACK ATTACK (2) on the final turn when that runner shifted out. OUR JACK ATTACK was referred to the Vet for assessment after making solid contact with the lure on pulling up which detected no abnormality.
Race 5	Trophies Plus Sprint - C3 - 318	THRILLING FOREST (5) was slow to jump. LITTLE RASCAL (1) lost ground entering the first turn when racing to the inside of SIMPLY YETI (3) and MYRNIONG GIRL (4) which both shifted in. THRILLING FOREST had to check off the back of DRURY (7) on the turn and lost a length.
Race 6	Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C1 - 318	The start was deferred by 1 minute at the request of the TAB. JOBS RITE (3) was slow to jump. SCOTT THE LOOKS (4) and MORE SALT NEEDED (5) were placed in restricted room shortly after the start when IDOL GEE (6) shifted in and LOCHINVAR BELLE (2) shifted out. STAINLESS KNOCKA (7) was then turned sideways after shifting inwards and making solid contact with IDOL GEE. JOBS RITE and MORE SALT NEEDED jostled for some strides approaching the first turn with both runners losing considerable ground.
Race 7	Greyhounds North Graduation Distance - C1d - 603	GOLDSTAR AVERY (4) was slow to begin. GOLDSTAR JAGGER (5) lost ground leaving the front straight the first time when having to check off the back of FOREVER IRIS (2) which shifted up the track. SEMI AUTOMATIC (9 - Box 3) then had to check off the heels of GOLDSTAR AVERY shortly after and shifted out hampering GOLDSTAR COCO (7) for several strides. GOLDSTAR AVERY lost ground entering the back straight when having to shift out off the back of GOLDSTAR JAGGER which angled in towards the rail. APRIL'S MY MUM (1) and FOREVER IRIS (2) came together on the final turn with GOLDSTAR AVERY then getting onto the hindquarters of FOREVER IRIS, which was turned sideways briefly.
Race 8	Greyhound Function Centre Stakes Series Final - C1f - 527	LUCKY COLLECT (8) was slow to jump. NANGAR GEM (3) shifted out shortly after the start forcing CORUBA CATE (5) out onto JINJA MIA (6). CORUBA CATE then shifted out onto LUCKY COLLECT for several strides. LUCKY COLLECT then shifted in entering the first turn forcing CORUBA CATE down onto MR. FUSSPOT (2) which was dragged down and fell with CORUBA CATE being badly hampered losing considerable ground. NANGAR GEM then shifted in on the first turn making contact with ZIMMER FRAME (9 - Box 1) with LUCKY COLLECT having to check out off the back of these two runners. MR. FUSS POT underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormality.
Race 9	Deli's Sports Bar Clendon Inn Sprint - C4 - 318	ROCKY BOY (3) shifted out shortly after the start forcing KIMETTO (5) out onto ANIU (6) for some strides. KIMETTO then raced in restricted room for a considerable distance approaching the first turn between ANIU and ROCKY BOY. POWDER JACK (7) lost ground on the turn when racing between SIMPLY SAM (1) and MELMAN (8). MADE TIME (2) was referred to Vet for assessment after being dragged down shortly after the finishing line which revealed no abnormality.
Race 10	Hewlett Electrical Stakes - C2/3 - 527	KITTY'S SHIRAZZ (7) and BELCROFT BANKER (8) came together shortly after the start with KITTY'S SHIRAZZ then shifting down onto CALYPSO STAR (6) for a stride. Entering the first turn CALYPSO STAR attempted to force a run between MYSTIC ACTION (3) and MISS VELOCETTE (4) which resulted in MISS VELOCETTE (4) being turned sideways with BELCROFT BANKER being badly hampered. THRILLING RIOT (9 - Box 5) had to check off the heels of BELCROFT BANKER on the final turn. MISS VELOCETTE was referred to the Vet for assessment which revealed no abnormality.
Race 11	DogZone Sprint - C5 - 318	BRITNEY STAR (1) was slow to jump. SPEED LORDE (5) shifted out after jumping forcing GUMBALANYA (6) out onto STYLISH FANCY (7). BRITNEY STAR and SPEED LORDE came together briefly entering the first turn. ZIPPING STEVE (4) got onto the hindquarters of BRIGHT STAR (8) on the final turn. BRITNEY STAR shifted out entering the home straight carrying ZIPPING STEVE out onto STYLISH FANCY.
Race 12	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318	TRINITY FLIGHT (8) was slow to jump. OUR SWIFT BUDDY (4) was checked shortly after the start when between ROTOVEGAS SPARKY (3) and ASTA (5) which both shifted ground. ASTA shifted in approaching the first turn forcing ROTOVEGAS SPARKY down onto YOU BETCHA NODDY (2) and SCOTT NO LIMBS (1), with SAVED BY LOVE (6) then also shifting down the track badly hampering these runners. SAVED BY LOVE then continued to shift in further around the bend checking SCOTT NO LIMBS which lost ground. TRINITY FLIGHT and ASTA came together on straightening for the run home with TRINITY FLIGHT being turned sideways before shifting in across the heels of SAVED BY LOVE. SAVED BY LOVE underwent a post race veterinary examination which detected an injury to the off hind with a 14 day stand down imposed.
