| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295 | HOMEBUSH SCRIBE (3) and REPLICA YELLA (8) were slow to jump. SID VALENSKI (6) ran inwards on dispatch checking DEMAN BLUE BLOOD (5) and GRACIOUS OAK (4). BEN JAMMING (10/2) was checked and fell into the bend with GRACIOUS OAK held up for a few strides. DEMAN BLUE BLOOD and REPLICA YELLA were both badly checked in this incident. BEN JAMMING, DEMAN BLUE BLOOD and REPLICA YELLA were all checked and cleared by the vet post race. |
| Race 2 | Jinjarango At Stud Dash - C1 - 295 | ILABB (7) ran inwards tightening BIG JOHN CANON (6), CRYSTAL FLAME (5) and WRINKLES (4) in the early stages. WRINKLES was again checked on two occasions shortly after and stumbled dropping to the rear. Into the bend CUPCAKE (3) checked outwards off the heels of SKILLZ TAYLOR (8). CRYSTAL FLAME and ILABB came together on the home turn when well back. |
| Race 3 | Hampden Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520 | The track was upgraded to Good prior to this event. WITH PRIDE (7) ran inwards in the early stages simultaneously to CAWBOURNE DALLAS (4) angling outwards resulting in OPAWA ROB (5) and OPAWA ALEX (6) receiving tightening and losing ground. WITH PRIDE and SEA SPRAY ELSA (1) jostled for a few strides entering the first bend with CRAFTY ACTION (2) and SPARE ACTION (3) hampered in behind. SEA SPRAY ELSA ran outwards on the first bend pushing SPARE ACTION and GOLDSTAR JAGGER (8) wider on the track. |
| Race 4 | Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C0 - 295 | This race was delayed by 2 minutes at the request of Raceday Control. CAIRO (5) and ROSCO ACTION (7) were the last pair on settling. SMASH FIRE (9/2) was tightened into the bend and lost ground. MINOR BRAINWAVE (6) ran wide in the home straight. |
| Race 5 | DogZone Dash - C1 - 295 | FERAL COASTER (3), CLEVER SAGE (6) and MAX BRAINSTRAIN (8) were the last trio on jumping. ANOTHER CRUISE (2) was badly tightened into the bend and lost ground sharply with CLEVER SAGE and MAX BRAINSTRAIN both losing their footing in behind this runner. SAM'S FLYIN NORM (10/7) was also hampered in this incident. HOMEBUSH RILEY (4) and FERAL COASTER collided on the home turn. LEXIE RAE (1) checked outwards off heels on the home turn losing momentum. ANOTHER CRUISE, FERAL COASTER, CLEVER SAGE and MAX BRAINSTRAIN were all checked and cleared by the vet post race. |
| Race 6 | Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C1 - 295 | JINNO GINO (5) was last to jump. In the back straight PEYTON SAWYER (6) was turned sideways after running outwards and colliding with HOLLY BLUE BLOOD (8). RIO ACTION (7) was tightened in this incident. On the bend JINNO GINO ran outwards checking HOLLY BLUE BLOOD which lost ground. JINNO GINO and PEYTON SAWYER raced wide in the home straight. PEYTON SAWYER was checked and cleared by the vet post race. |
| Race 7 | Flair Dash - C1 - 295 | COSMOHOLIC (7) and ANOTHER RELM (6) collided in the early stages losing ground. FANCY NOMIKAI (2) was dragged down on the bend losing momentum with the trialing FLASH THE CASH (3) held up as a result. FANCY NOMIKAI then ran inwards checking TEPIRITA HENDRIX (4). GIGANAIRE (8), MOBILIZE (5) and COSMOHOLIC all raced wide in the home straight. TEPIRITA HENDRIX fell at the lure and was trampled on by following runners with this dog suffering a stifle injury in this incident. |
| Race 8 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C1 - 295 | OAKS HILL (4) and COLERIDGE JIM (6) were the last pair from the traps. MISS HARPER (1), BHUJA (2) and HAYLEY JAMES (3) all collided in the early rush. EUG THE SCROOGE (8) angled inwards into the bend causing tightening to BADUZZI (7), HAYLEY JAMES and OAKS HILL. MISS HARPER shifted up the track in the run home. HAYLEY JAMES was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 9 | christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Stakes - C1 - 520 | GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (5) and KNOW VALUE (8) were slow to jump. SLICK ACTION (4) ran inwards in the run to the first bend checking TAMARA MAY (3). GOLDSTAR JUNIOR remained a clear last throughout and was referred to the vet for assessment where it was found to have a torn hip support. |
| Race 10 | Zebidiah At Stud Sprint - C2 - 295 | ZORBA THE GREEK (3) and WICKED WINSTON (4) came together for a stride in the initial stages. WICKED WINSTON then ran outwards checking TERRA ALERT (5) and GOLDSTAR BOMBER (6). WICKED WINSTON was checked into the bend and lost ground. ZORBA THE GREEK angled outwards on the bend forcing SPRINKLES (7) and TERRA ALERT wider on the track. |
| Race 11 | Livamol Stakes Final - C1f - 520 | OPAWA HARRY (8) was a clear last at the jump. PLUTONIUM (5) received a check entering the back straight when racing to the outside of GOLDSTAR COCO (4). On the home turn GOLDSTAR COCO angled outwards off the heels of OPAWA JAY JAY (1) with GOLDSTAR DALLAS (2) pushed wider on the track. |
| Race 12 | MTA Gift Vouchers Dash - C2 - 295 | ROYAL BASH (4) and GOD PARTICLE (8) were the last pair on jumping. ADRENALIN KICK (3) and LOOK AT LUCY (6) were checked into the bend losing ground. FIERY FAGAN (1) shifted outwards on the home turn contacting BROOKE DAVIS (2) which lost momentum. Stewards reviewed all angles of the home turn coverage and were satisfied that FIERY FAGAN did not contravene Rule 79 when running outwards on the turn. |
| Race 13 | Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C1 - 295 | HELL'S A COMING (6) was last to jump. IDOL BILLIE (4) ran inwards into the bend contacting TIME SLAYER (1) and losing ground. |
| Race 14 | Garrard's Horse & Hound Dash - C1 - 295 | CAWBOURNE EDEN (8) ran inwards on dispatch contacting OHOKA FAITH (9/7). GO MCINDOE (2) received a slight check in the back straight as MARY BLUE BLOOD (1) ran outwards. Into the bend OHOKA FAITH ran inwards and contacted KNOW LUCK (4) with OHOKA FAITH becoming unbalanced and running outwards checking CAWBOURNE EDEN with this pair losing their chances. MARY BLUE BLOOD ran wide around the home turn. OHOKA FAITH was checked and cleared by the vet post race. |

HOMEBUSH BRUNO (9/3) ran outwards in the early stages checking BOTANY VIKKI (4) with this runner then running inwards and checking BIG CATCH. BLACK SAILS (6) raced wide around the bend. GORDON'S MY MATE (8) ran wide in the home straight. |
