Weather: Fine
Track: Good The track was presented in good order being well matted throughout the programme. All other equipment operated well apart from race 2 ( refer judicial ). The boxes will all be checked over before the next race meeting.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Race 2 was a false start after the lids failed to open .
The field were removed from the boxes and checked over by the vet.
The boxes were checked over and found to be operating correctly with the cause unknown at this stage.
CAWBOURNE HINT was the only late scratching for this race on Vets advice due to the dog showing signs of stress.
The dogs were reloaded for a restart with no further problems.
The race was restarted 6 minutes later than the scheduled race time
The remaining races from the 375m start were run with out any further problem.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 375	CLOUD CHASER box 2 missed the jump being last in to stride by several lengths. EVE NING HILL led from the jump and was caught short of the line to finish 2nd Turning for the run home BILLY MARLOW improving around runners was checked for a stride or so as CLOUD CHASER ran on to his heels. BILLY MARLOW finished strongly in the latter stages in to 3rd placing at the line. The Trainer of EVE NING HILL requested the dog be referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have pain over the left lattimus and both pectoral muscles a 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 2	Greyhounds As Pets C1 - C1 - 375	The lids failed to open as the lure travelled past . All runners were removed from the boxes and vetted. CAWBOURNE HINT was declared a late scratching on vets advice. The race was restarted approx 6 minutes behind the scheduled start time and was hand started. Racing from the boxes KIRKHAM WEBBY ran across forcing SHOT GUN HARRY on to the shoulder of CHAIR UP bumping this runner on to REPEAT VISIT and EAR'S BORIS who was pushed sideways for couple of strides. REPEAT VISIT and EARS BORIS were checked back on to SHOT GUN HARRY, these runners all lost 5 or so lengths and were unable to get back in to contention. CAWBOURNE HINT was referred to the vet for further assessment on returning to the kennel block where the reason for the late scratching at the boxes was due to the dog becoming stressed due to the false start and no further stand down was recommended.
Race 3	Buck Fever At Stud C2 - C2 - 375	ANOTHER CHARM box 4 began awkwardly for a stride or so. CAWBOURNE DANIAL ( fav ) raced midfield across the top bend and was held up for a couple of strides as the field raced in to the home straight when clear ran on in to 3rd placing art the line. CAWBOURNE GEORGE from box 8 after being the widest runner through out finished on strongly in the latter stages in to finish in to 4th placing a the line.
Race 4	Paul Claridge Electrical North Island Challenge Stakes Heat 1 - C5q - 457 Heat 1	TIMMY TRUMPET box 5 went up with the lids being last away by 5 lengths. Racing in to the first bend TIMMY TRUMPET barged his way through the field catching the heels of TOP PROSECUTOR, TIMMY TRUMPET then ran outwards forcing DR ROBBIE and CRIKEY widest on to the bend, DR ROBBIE cut inwards sharply checking ALLMENDINGER, CRIKEY lost ground back on to ALLMENDINGER with both dogs coming together tangling losing ground back to the rear Racing across the top TIMMY TRUMPET tightened in on to TOP PROSECUTOR and CAWBOURNE MATTY checking these runners. CAWBOURNE MATTY after striking trouble in the running made good ground in the run home to finish in to 3rd placing at the line. TIMMY TRUMPET after missing the start made up a lot of ground to finish in to 2nd placing at the line.
Race 5	Paul Claridge Electrical North Island Challenge Stakes Heat 2 - C5q - 457 Heat 2	CAWBOURNE BRICK and LADY ZENA were best away, soon after CAWBOURNE BRICK ran in to the shoulder of LADY ZENA with TAKAMORI in behind being checked. Soon after TAKAMORI angled across checking BRALYN CHARLIE. racing in to the first bend FLYING MERKEL ( fav ) angled inwards on to TAKAMORI tightening this LADY ZENA and DOCKER on the inner. LADY ZENA caught the hind of FLYING MERKEL almost falling going inwards on to DOCKER. LADY ZENA and DOCKER lost momentum, ZIPPING JOCK was checked by LADY ZENA as he ran past. LADY ZENA and DOCKER lost all chance there after finishing in the rear at the line and were referred to the vet for assessment. LADY ZENA was found to have generalised soreness a 14 day stand down was recommended. DOCKER was cleared of abnormalities.
Race 6	Paul Claridge Electrical North Island Challenge Stakes Heat 3 - C5q - 457 Heat 3	In the run to the first bend SCODELARIO angled outwards on to CAWBOURNE COOKS pushing this runner out on to VEGAS DANNY and SPRINGVALE HARRY . SPRINGVALE HARRY was checked back a length where he changed ground inwards and was checked again in to the bend as VEGAS DANNY cut inwards resulting in CAWBOURNE COOKS being checked going back on to SCODELARIO who ran on to his heels. SPRINGVALE HARRY and SCODELARIO lost ground back towards the rear as did CAWBOURNE COOKS and they were unable to get back in to contention there after. ABSINTHE MINDED was referred to the vet for assessment at the Handlers request and was found to have suffered a laceration to the left elbow a 6 day stand down was recommended.
Race 7	Shakey Jakey At Rocky Ridge C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	There was no photo finish for uploading for this race. Racing in to the first bend there was tightening and jostling as BIG BOY DENO angled across tightening SMASH ALLEGRO in on NERO with SHERLOCK IZMIR and COUNTRY GUN ( fav ) in behind being checked. A couple of strides on when in the clear COUNTRY BOY angled outwards on to SHERLOCK IZMIR bumping and jostling this runner for some strides. COUNTRY GUN was forced to cover some ground when attempting to improve only battling in the run home finishing in 6th placing at the line. KAPUTSKI from box 5 raced widest throughout covering a lot of extra ground finishing in the rear at the line. COUNTRY GUN was referred to the vet as a precaution and found to have generalised muscle injuries a 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 8	The Wright Decorators C3 - C3 - 375	Racing in to the first bend CAWBOURNE MIDGET was checked as PURE LEE angled across both dogs bumped for a stride. Soon after racing across the bend CAWBOURNE MIDGET was checked again as SHINZIGZAG improved through on his inner, CAWBOURNE MIDGET lost a length or so and was hampered slightly racing in to the home straight losing more ground. CAWBOURNE MIDGET ended up almost at the rear soon after entering the run home he on strongly in the latter stages to finish in to 5th placing at the line.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C2 Final - C2f - 375	MANU RAMA was slow away crossing inwards with THRILLING CASSIE ( fav ) angling in across the heels of FALL FROM GRACE on to CAWBOURNE ELPASO. Racing in to the first bend FALL FROM GRACE racing to the lead angled in across the line of THRILLING CASSIE who tightened in on to CAWBOURNE ELPASO and BOX OF FLUFFIES. CAWBOURNE ELPASO was tightened on to the heels of THRILLING CASSIE and fell, ROBINS ZARR HOOD directly in behind ran over the fallen runner a couple of strides on when recovering back in to stride ROBINS ZARR HOOD ran on to the hind of UNO NIGEL causing this runner to go off stride with ROBINS ZARR HOOD running out sharply over the back of ENHANCER under the neck of MANU RAMA who ran up on to the back of ROBINS ZARR HOOD who fell . MANU RAMA recovered back in to stride very quickly making ground to finish in to 5th placing at the line. CAWBOURNE ELPASO and ROBINS ZARR HOOD both recovered to their paws quickly after falling to finish on to the lure and were referred to the vet for assessment. UNO NIGEL recovered to his paws and did not finish on to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment. CAWBOURNE ELPASO was found to have bruising over the right rump and left shoulder area a 7 day stand down was recommended. ROBINS ZARR HOOD was found to have mild lumbar bruising a 6 day stand down was recommended.
Race 10	Plasterboard Silver Collar Heats 5th June C2 - C2 - 457	Racing from the boxes SWIFTLY CHLOE and MALAKAI MAGIC came together as AUTUMN LIGHTS also came inwards, COSMIC SCRAMBLE came out on to CAWBOURNE LOCK, KIRKHAM HARVEY all these runners bumped and jostled for some strides. CAWBOURNE MERL from box 8 raced wide throughout and was never in contention there after and was referred to the vet for assessment. CAWBOURNE MERL was found to have a left pectoral muscle injury a 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 11	Preston's Master Butchers C3/4 - C3/4 - 457	Racing in to the first bend MELHAM improving towards the leader angled across resulting in KNUCKLE BUMP coming back slightly on to BUSTER BLUTH who ran outwards to avoid heels forcing BLACKIE CHAN widest on to the bend , on their inner as KNUCKLE BUMP angled inwards BERNIE'S BOY was hampered almost running on to the hind of KNUCKLE BUMP losing a length or so. BLACKIE CHAN after being forced wide in to the bend lost a fair amount of ground finishing several lengths in the rear at the line.
Race 12	wheeldeal.co.nz C1 - C1 - 457	Soon after the start MAP MY RUN ran in on to WALL AGE and PHANTON WAY bumping with these runners. Racing in to the bend MAY MY RUN attempting to move inwards pushed in on to PHANTOM WAY for some strides hampering this runner, TAKE THE SHORTS in behind was forced to checkout across their heels forcing ZAMMADIS LASS very wide on to the bend. TAKE THE SHORTS and ZAMMADIS LASS covered a fair amount of extra ground across the top finishing in the rear at the line.
