Track: Good The track was presented in a good racing condition being well groomed and watered through out the meeting. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil

Judicial report: Trainer A Turnwald applied to have the endorsement cancelled for WHEELIE RASCAL per rule 79.7 this dog having completed more than 10 clear runs before today's meeting.
AUTUMN LIGHTS ( A Turnwald ) competed in a Satisfactory trial and was subject to a Veterinary examination at the Trainers request and found to have A Right fore toe injury a 10 day stand down was recommended.
SPRINGVALE HARRY ( T Agent ) competed in a satisfactory trial and was referred to the vet for assessment by the Stewards where he was found to have an injury to the left pectoral muscle & triangle muscle injury a 14 day stand down was recommended.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C1 - C1 - 375	Soon after the start EAR'S BORIS ran inwards behind runners running on to the heels of THRILLING CASSIE. SNIGGLEPUSS from box 7 was forced to race wide in to and around the bend when looking to improve up towards the lead, on the point of the home bend EAR'S BORIS improving from the back ran on to the hind of SNIGGLEPUSS dragging this runner down. SNIGGLEPUSS recovered to her paws and was recovered from the track and referred on to the vet for assessment and was found to have to the left lattimus & pectoral muscles a 10 day stand down was recommended. HOMEBUSH MARLOW drifted to the rear racing in to the first bend and was never in contention there after finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have injuries to the right hip support muscle a 14 day stand down was recommended.
Race 2	J P Print, Petone C0 Heat 1 - C0q - 375 Heat 1	TAMMY'S FIRE was slowest away, racing in to the first bend TAMMY'S FIRE ran in to the hind of GRACE SLICK checking for a stride. Racing on to the bend TAMMY'S FIRE ran in to the hind of GRACE SLICK again, TAMMY'S FIRE lost momentum and was unable to improve there after finishing in the rear at the line. TAMMY'S FIRE was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have a left side quadriceps muscle injury a 10 day stand down was recommended. GRACE SLICK was referred to the vet at the trainers request and was found to have an injury to the right stopper bone a 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 3	Greyhounds As Pets C0 Heat 2 - C0q - 375 Heat 2	MR MAIZE box 3 went up with the lids and was bumped getting away as EVE NING HILL stumbled with both dogs coming together TRENDY BLASTER box 6 ran in sharply across the face of SHOT GUN HARRY ( fav ) checking this runner at the start. SHOT GUN HARRY settled midfield racing in to the first bend soon after improved forward towards the leader ,nearing the home bend MR MAIZE made ground through on the rail coming together with SHOT GUN HARRY both dogs jostled for some strides. SHOT GUN HARRY when in the clear ran on in to 2nd placing at the line. KHAL DRAGO box 1 was awkwardly away racing widest there after covering a lot of extra ground in the running finishing in last placing at the line.
Race 4	The Wright Decorators C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	SUBIC BAY ( fav ) dwelt slightly at the jump. Racing in to the first bend LADY ROSE on the inner and ONE BROKE GIRL on the outer were vying for the lead, ONE BROKE GIRL angled in slightly resulting in LADY ROSE running on to the hind of ONE BROKE GIRL dragging this runner down , LADY ROSE fell SUBIC BAY, KAPUTSKI, and MR JULES falling over the top of these runners. SUBIC BAY ran on to the back of WHEELIE RASCAL almost dragging this runner down. LADY ROSE, ONE BROKE GIRL, MR JULES, SUBIC BAY , KAPUTSKI all recovered to their paws to finish on to the lure and were referred to the vet for assessment. WHEELIE RASCAL after being almost dragged down in this incident ran in to 3rd placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment. SUBIC BAY was found to have strained both lattimus dorsi muscles a 3 day stand down was recommended. MR JULES was found to have left quadriceps & gracilis muscle pain a 10 day stand down was recommended. LADY ROSE was found to have Bruising over pelvis& abrasions over both hind legs a 7 day stand down was recommended. ONE BROKE GIRL was found to have bruising over right hip & left shoulder a 7 day stand down was recommended. WHEELIE RASCAL was found to have general soreness over the hind area & abrasions to the hind legs a 14 day stand down was recommended. KAPUTSKI was found to have to have pain in the left triceps & right pectoral muscle a 14 day stand down was recommended.
Race 5	Shakey Jakey At Rocky Ridge C2d - C2d - 660	UNOVA BALE box 1 was soon after the start back to the rear racing several lengths last in a strung out field racing along the back straight where she improved in to the body of the field finishing well in the run home in to 2nd placing at the line. The Stewards reviewed the race with Trainer M Roberts due to concerns of UNOVA BALE performance in the early stages of the race. After further consideration and explanation from M Roberts on the dogs racing pattern no further action was taken today . UNOVA BALE was referred to the vet for assessment as a precaution and was found to have the right hip support & pectoral muscle a 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 6	Buck Fever At Stud C0 Final - C0f - 457	WALNUT and IZZY BOWEN both dwelt at the start being the last two in to stride. WALNUT was checked in to the first bend as CHII MORE made contact with his hindquarters of CHILL MORE , WALNUT ran widest there after in to and around the bend and down the home finishing in last placing at the line. having covered a fair amount of extra ground in the running.
Race 7	Win Group2 NI Challenge Stakes Sponsorship C2 - C2 - 375	SPIRIT RUN box 8 was forced to race widest in to the bend. Racing towards the home turn SPIRIT RUN improving between HOMEBUSH JUSTINE and ALCUDIA these runners vying for the lead at this point ran in to the shoulder of ALCUDIA bumping this runner off stride . ALCUDIA lost some momentum and a couple of lengths when rebalanced up was unable to make up the ground finishing in 6th placing at the line
Race 8	Personal Protective Services C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	Racing from the boxes ANGVELLA ran in across the face of MAKING TIME causing to this runner to check back over heels . MAKING TIME lost several lengths at this point and was unable to get in to contention there after. BOSTON LIGHTNING racing handy on to the bend was checked going back a length or so as ANGVELLA crossed to the rail.
Race 9	Outback Trading Comapny C3 - C3 - 375	Racing in to the first bend CAWBOURNE LOCH angled across the face of MISS MOWHAWK in on to the shoulder of BIG WONDER, ENHANCER and KNUCKLE BUMP ( fav ), INDIVIDUAL LILY on the outer of these runners also angled in tightening CAWBOURNE LOCH on to these runners soon after. As there runners were checked MISS MOWHAWK in behind ran out across heels to avoid these runner racing widest on to the bend. INDIVIDUAL LILY, CAWBOURNE LOCH and BIG WONDER were unable to get back in to contention filling the last three placings at the line.
Race 10	Preston's Master Butchers C1 - C1 - 457	Soon after the start there was bumping and jostling as ALLEGRO BEATY raced across checking OPAWA JAY and OLLIE BAXTER back ,PHANTOM WAY from box 2 came out on to CAWBOURNE PANIC pushing this runner across on to heels and bumping with OLLIE BAXTER who ran out across heels. OLLIE BAXTER was bumped again racing in to the bend as OPAWA JAY raced through on his inner. OLLIE BAXTER raced widest in to and across the top bend and was unable to get in to contention there after.
Race 11	Manawatu Harness Racing 12 & 15 May C4 - C4 - 375	Racing from the boxes SMASH ALLEGO ran in checking CAWBOURNE MATTY, BIG BOY DENO and WHEELIE GOOD. BIG BOY DENO, CAWBOURNE MATTY and SMASH ALLEGRO all lost momentum and ground at this point being the last runners in to the bend. WHEELIE GOOD ran wide on to the top bend forcing CAWBOURNE GIL wide across the top, WHEELIE GOOD carried on racing out wide in to the home straight finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 12	wheeldeal.co.nz C2 - C2 - 457	Racing in to the first bend CHARLIE BO BO checked off heels running out taking BIGTIME RANSON wide in to the first bend , ahead of these runners further in HOMEBUSH GINGER, CAWBOURNE SPREE ( fav ) and COSMIC SCRAMBLE all came together. CAWBOURNE SPREE went back to midfield and was checked soon after as CAWBOURNE STEPS galloped on to his heels. CAWBOURNE SPREE finished towards the rear and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
