Judicial report: Trainer S.Stone was issued with a first and final warning after being late to kennel runners entered in the early part of the programme.

Race 1 | ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 Ht1 - C2q - 305 Heat 1 | HOMEBUSH BOUNCE and RUA RAMA bumped when the start was made and settled back where they stayed throughout the race. RUA RAMA raced wide on the bend and into the straight and covered extra ground. |
Race 2 | AON CPF C2 Ht2 - C2q - 305 Heat 2 | ASA CASH QUEEN and ANOTHER COVER shifted in from the start and caused crowding and eventually checks to FALL FROM GRACE, HOMEBUSH JUSTINE, KAPAI LANA and OPAWA LEIGH and they lost ground and stayed back to finish in the last four places. |
Race 3 | LASER PLUMBING WANGANUI C2 Ht3 - C2q - 305 Heat 3 | MISS MOHAWK was slow to begin losing three lengths and she stayed back throughout. SNOW BALL CHANCE, NUI MAGIC and PIXIE DUST jostled together for a short distance soon after the start and lost momentum. KALISI was checked going into the bend and lost three lengths and she then checked over the heels of PACIFIC VIBE and lost further ground entering the home straight. |
Race 4 | WANGANUI CHRONICLE C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | DREAMZONE shifted out on the home turn and forced SPEEDY BEAT out into the line of EFFECTIVE POWER and they were both hampered and briefly unbalanced. |
Race 5 | LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 | CAWBOURNE BUTTSY and VITO BAXTER were the slowest away from the boxes losing two lengths. BRITNEY STAR shifted out from the start and hampered SEDGEBROOK BABE and PINK SHELLAC for a short distance but they recovered quickly. BRITNEY STAR again shifted out going into the bend and hampered SEDGEBROOK BABE and MEGA JET with MEGA JET the most affected and he stayed back to finish in last place. |
Race 6 | FIRST SECURITY C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | RED EXPRESS began awkwardly losing four lengths but made up ground well to finish in 4th place. SWIFTLY CHLOE and ALAMEIN JUDE jostled together going into the first bend and lost momentum briefly. BLACKIE CHAN checked off the back of CAWBOURNE WEB and lost ground on the first bend. MEG'S ME MUM checked off the back of BLACKIE CHAN entering the back straight and went back and out onto SWIFTLY CHLOE and they both lost several lengths. |
Race 7 | ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 | BERNIE'S BOY, CHARLIE BO BO, NITRO MARY and BIG WONDER jostled together going into the first bend and they were all unbalanced losing ground and they stayed back from that point to the finish of the race. KNUCKLE BUMP was racing on the outside of those runners and was also affected in the incident and lost a little ground. |
Race 8 | THE ROCK 95.2FM C4 - C4 - 305 | DOWNGRADE KING was the slowest away from the boxes and lost two lengths. BIG FAT GYPSY and FREEDOM FLYER were awkwardly positioned in restricted room between runners going into the bend and they jostled together losing ground and stayed back from there to the finish. |
Race 9 | PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C4 - C4 - 305 | SECOND TIME and ALLEGRO CLASS dwelt slightly and lost ground at the start. SECOND TIME raced a little wide into the bend and hampered ALLEGRO CLASS which lost ground and went back to the rear. INCREASING shifted in from the start and crowded BRILLIANT JAYLA, HOMEBUSH ZANE and WHEELIE CHILLIE which were all unbalanced for a short distance. WHEELIE CHILLIE recovered the best from the incident and made up ground to finish in 4th place. |
Race 10 | WANGANUI TOYOTA C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 | SEDGEBROOK MAGIC, OUR GYPSY, MAKING TIME and OPAWA SHAY were the slowest to begin and they settled back. SEDGEBROOK MAGIC and OUR GYPSY bumped together soon after the start and they were briefly unbalanced as a result. |
Race 11 | HAPPY 30TH BIRTHDAY MATTHEW GARDNER C3 - C3 - 305 | GRAND ALLEGRO began awkwardly and lost two lengths. SPIRIT RUN and NGAURUHOE bumped together as the start was made and wider on the track, BIGTIME REDFOO and BOTANY WIN also came together briefly and bumped. SPIRIT RUN and BOTANY WIN brushed together for a short distance on the bend and BOTANY WIN was unbalanced and fell but was quickly back on his feet and went to the lure. BOTANY WIN was referred to the Vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
Race 12 | BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3 - C3 - 305 | CAWBOURNE GIL was jostled between runners a short distance after the start and went off stride and dropped out to the rear and finished several lengths last. CAWBOURNE GIL was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have a suspected fractured metatarsal. |
