Track: Good The track was presented in a very god racing condition being well watered and groomed through out the meeting. All other equipment operated well throughout.

Judicial report: SHELLY MCBELL was a late scratching after being found to be in season when being presented for pre race parading

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	BIGTIME REDFOO and ANOTHER KEY were slowest away. Soon after the start PIXIE DUST angled in across the face of CAWBOURNE KIWI and CHAIMBO, CAWBOURNE KIWI caught the eels of PIXIE DUST checking back a length. At this point ASA CASH QUEEN ( fav ) angled inwards as CAWBOURNE KIWI ran out sharply severely tightening and checking KALISI back with this runner catching the hind of CAWBOURNE KIWI who was almost dragged down. CAWBOURNE KIWI went back through the field to the rear finishing several lengths last at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. BIT COIN was hampered racing in to the first bend as BIGTIME REDFOO improving from the rear tightened runners. BIT COIN ran wide on to the top bend ,BIGTIME REDFOO after a poor start made a good ground to finish in to 3rd placing at the line.
Race 2	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C2 - C2 - 305	In the run to the first bend WORBOYS angled outwards on to HOMEBUSH JUSTINE pushing this runner out on to MIGHTY TWIST checking this runner sideways for a couple of strides HOMEBUSH JUSTINE was checked back catching the heels of MIGHTY TWIST stumbling slightly going back to the rear, on their outer BELFAST EJIT angled in on to SERVE YA PURPOSE pushing tightening this runner on to SNOW BALL CHANCE hampering them for a couple of strides. SERVE YA PURPOSE and SNOW BALL CHANCE both went back towards the rear as the field raced on to the bend. HOMEBUSH JUSTINE, MIGHTY TWIST and SERVE YA PURPOSE were unable to get back in to contention there after.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	SECOND TIME box 6 was slowest in to stride by a few lengths in the early stages, SECOND TIME after being forced to race wide there after made good ground to finish in to 4th placing at the line. ALLEGRO BOOM box 8 wasn't best away and was forced to race widest in to and across the top bend finishing towards the rear at the line. Racing in to the first bend WHY OH WHY in midfield was tightened going back towards the rear and was unable to improve there after SECOND TIME was referred to the vet at the trainers request and was found to have post race muscle soreness ,mild dehydration a 7 day stand down was recommended.
Race 4	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	Racing from the boxes CHEAP SHOT MATTY box 2 ran outwards towards the centre of the track dictating the line of RITZA ROMAN ( fav ) who came together with EFFECTIVE POWER both runners jostling for a couple of strides. RITZA ROMAN when clear improved inwards towards the lead racing in to the first bend where he was checked as WILD EFFECTIVE made contact with his hind ,WILD EFFECTIVE came back on to SEDGEBROOK BABE who was checked back on to EFFECTIVE POWER. RITZA ROMAN lost momentum at this point going back towards the rear and was unable to improve there after. SEDGEBROOK BABE and WILD EFFECTIVE ran wide on to the top bend covering extra ground to the home turn.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C4 - C4 - 305	Racing in to the bend BRILLIANT JAYLA racing in tight quarters caught the heels of CAWBOURNE MIDGET, BRILLIANT JAYLA stumbled slightly ran out bumping in to BRILLIANR ASHLEE pushing this runner widest on to the top bend. BRILLIANT AVA checked in to the first bend went back to the rear angling across to the rail, BRILLIANT AVA when attempting to improve towards the home bend ran on to and over the heels of BRILLIANT JAYLA , BRILLIANT AVA lost ground there after finishing a margin in the rear at the line. BRILLIANR AVA was referred to the vet for assessment where she was found to be lame in the right hind a 28 day stand down was recommended.
Race 6	FIRST SECURITY C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	INDEFINATE ORDER box 6 jumped away well raced handy to the post on the first occasion ,INDEFINATE ORDER was hampered slightly racing around the first bend racing up in to 4th in the running in the back straight . Racing across the top bend INDEFINATE ORDER drifted back to the rear finishing in last placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment as this runner had also competed at the Waikato GRC meeting yesterday. INDEFINATE ORDER was found to have pain in both quadriceps and the near fore stopper bone a 14 day stand down was recommended.
Race 7	WANGANUI TOYOTA NZ FUTURITY Ht1 Gp1 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	BRISEUR DE REVES box 6 missed the jump being last away in the early stages. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion ABSINTHE MINDED box 8 angled across pushing YAP'S ME MUM in on to OPAWA SHAY who went in across the face of SEDGEBROOK MAGIC checking this runner at this point. A couple of strides on YAP'S ME MUM was tightened and checked back running over and out across the hind of ABSINTHE MINDED turning this runner sideways, YAP'S ME MUM went outwards forcing RED EXPRESS and BRISEUR DE REVES very wide ,SEDGEBROOK MAGIC was also caught up running in to the hind of these runners. YAP'S ME MUM, RED EXPRESS, ABSINTHE MINDED, BRISEUR DE REVES and SEDGEBROOK BABE effectively lost all chance of a closer finish as they lost a fair amount of ground with the field fairly well strung out from this point on.
Race 8	WANGANUI TOYOTA NZ Futurity Ht2 Gp1 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 2	Racing in to the bend on the first occasion FLYING MERKLE angled across the face of CAWBOURNE CLAY who stumbled for a stride, FLYING MERKLE then ran in to the back of MISS ELDORA, FLYING MERKLE lost a length or so and raced in midfield there after finishing in 4th placing at the line. CAWBOURNE CLAY after striking trouble in to the first bend was unable to get in to contention there after finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 9	WANGANUI TOYOTA NZ Futurity Ht3 Gp1 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 3	OPAWA O'GRADY box 6 was awkwardly away fro a stride coming together with OUR GYPSY as they raced away from the start. In the run to the post on the first occasion there was jostling and tightening as OPAWA O'GRADY ran in bumping JINJA ROAM in on to ARTIC ACTION ,CAWBOURNE CLOVER and BIFFLE on the inner. BIFFLE was buffeted going back to the rear and soon after appeared to be uncomfortable in his galloping action finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to be lame in the right fore wrist area a 21 day stand down was recommended. CAWBOURNE CLOVER after striking trouble in the early stages recovered well to keep a handy position in the running to run on in to 2nd placing at the line.
Race 10	WANGANUI TOYOTA NZ Futurity Ht4 Gp1 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 4	JOE JOE box 3 began awkwardly and was last in to stride racing in the rear as the field raced in to the bend on the first occasion. Racing in behind the leader in to the bend SANTA SANGRE ran out off the hind of CAWBOURNE COOKS ( fav ) bumping in to KNOW DECISION who stumbled going out wide resulting in SCODELERIO and CRIKEY also being checked losing ground . racing along the back straight SCODELARIO angled out widest then angled in across the top bend and appeared to be uncomfortable in his galloping action finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have suffered from cramp a 7 day stand down was recommended. CRIKEY also finished well back and was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have a dislocated joint to the right fore a 21 day stand down was recommended.
Race 11	AON CPF C3 - C3 - 305	GRAND ALLEGO ( fav ) box 1 was a length slow as they jumped , GRAND ALLEGRO soon in to stride attempted to improve through on the inner of BIGTIME REIGN but was short of room being tightened back as NERO from the wide box raced to the lead angling across tightening NGAURUHOE in on to BIGTIME REIGN who went back on to GRAND ALLEGRO who ran on to the hind of BIGTIME REIGN causing this dog to fall with GRAND ALLEGRO galloping over top of this runner losing ground and his chance there after. BIGTIME REIGN was quickly to his paws to finish on to the lure some distance back and was referred to the vet for assessment was found to have spike wounds to the off hind foot a 5 days stand down was recommended.
Race 12	MEDIA WORKS C3 - C3 - 305	SHELLY MCBELL was a late scratching at pre race parade when found to be in season. CAWBOURNE ROWAN ( fav ) box 6 was only fairly away racing near the rear in the run in to the first bend where he was tightened between runners losing msome momentum and only battled there after finishing in 6th placing at the line.
