Track: Good After heavy rain early in the morning and intermittent rain through out the day the track was presented in a very good racing order All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	Racing off the mats ANOTHER RANGER and WINEVARA came together, both dogs went back a length with ANOTHER RANGER angling outwards, WINEVARA angled inwards on to GOT TIME hampering this runner for a couple of strides. BIGTIME SAM ( fav ) improved to a handy position racing on in to the first bend was bumped and checked as GOT TIME came together bumping MISS MUFFET outwards . BIGTIME SAM became unbalanced for a few strides was hampered as he lost ground as WINEVARA improved wider out angling inwards resulting in BIGTIME SAM catching heels . Nearing the home turn BIGTIME SAM and GEEZ LOUISE came together with both runners losing momentum and finishing in the rear at the line. BIGTIME SAM was referred to the vet as a precaution where no abnormalities were found.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 305	Racing from the start TRENDY BLASTER ran in across the face of KHAL DRAGO,BEE LIKE ME box 8 then ran inwards bumping and checking KHAL DRAGO at this point, KHAL DRAGO then changed ground outwards to the centre of the track. Racing across the top bend TRENDY BLASTER moved outwards forcing BOTANY COLD on the improve to race wider, a couple of strides both dogs came together for a stride or so.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING C0 - C0 - 305	TAMMY'S FIRE went up with the lids being last away by several lengths. Racing to the first bend CHIP OFF BLOCK was jostled for some strides when racing between BEN NEVIS KNIGHT and EVE NING HILL. Racing in to the bend BEN NEVIS KNIGHT, CHIP OFF BLOCK, EVE NING HILL and TAMMY'S FIRE all came together bumping and jostling for some strides, resulting in BEN NEVIS KNIGHT going back and checking out over the heels of CHIP OFF BLOCK, EVE NING HILL and TAMMY'S FIRE tangled at this point both runners losing momentum. CHIP OFF BLOCK after striking trouble several times during the running ran on well in to 4th placing at the line. BEN NEVIS KNIGHT, TAMMY'S FIRE and EVE NING HILL finished in the rear.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 - C0 - 520	GUNNER BLUEBLOOD box 4 dwelt at the start. SLICK STAR led from the boxes in to the bend on the first occasion where she was checked and hampered as ALLEGRO BEAU ran on to her heels resulting in BLACK ROADSTAR and ORANGEY YELLOW on the inner being checked as ALLEGRO BEAU angled inwards, on their outer SLICK STAR ran outwards checking GUNNAR BLUEBLOOD , WORLD FREAKSHOW and TRENDY MIND who were bumped out wide losing ground as the field raced in to the back straight. TRENDY MIND, GUNNAR BLUEBLOOD and BLACK ROADSTAR all recovered to make up ground to fill the minor placings at the line SLICK STAR was referred to the vet at the Trainers request and was found to have spike wounds to the left hind a 7 day stand down was recommended.
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	Racing in to the first bend HOMEBUSH OLIVE racing towards the lead angled inwards tightening UNO MARGUERITE in on to GULLY CRUSHER for a stride or so. Racing on to the bend MALIGNED ran in to the hind of ALLEGRO ALL GO and HOMEBUSH OLIVE, MALIGNED dipped slightly running outwards along with ALLEGRO ALL GO, GULLY CRUSHER on the inner was also checked again at this point but recovered ground to finish in to 5th placing at the line.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE C1 - C1 - 305	HOMEBUSH TIARE box 8 dwelt at the start. Racing in to the first bend there was tightening between ALLEGRO RUNNINGS ( fav ), PLAITING PUSS, VEE VEERY LOVELY , DIAMOND LULU and CHIEF BAXTER all these runners were hampered for some strides ,DIAMOND LULU was jostled back to the rear and was unable to get back in to contention finishing in the rear at the line. ALLEGRO RUNNINGS after earlier tightening recovered well to finish off best in to 1st placing at the line.
Race 7	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 305	MAKING YOU PAW ( fav ) dwelt at the start being last in to stride. Racing in to the first bend MAKING YOU PAW was tightened as and checked when caught between TRINITY FLIGHT angling across pushing CRYSTAL MCBELL in on to MAKING YOU PAW who went sideways along with CRYSTAL MCBELL for a stride or so. TRINITY FLIGHT, CYSTAL MCBELL and MAKING YOU PAW all lost ground back and were unable to get back in to contention there after. EXACT MASTER box 8 raced towards the rear finishing in last placing at the line.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520	All clear
Race 9	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	Racing from the start MARLOW MARINA and CHAOS THEORY bumped. Racing in to the first bend KIRKHAM WEBBY ( fav ) angled across to the rail hampering CHAOS THEORY and MARLOW MARINA for a stride or so at this point, on their outer ARMASTICE DAY box 8 raced up angling inwards tightening NOT LISTENING in on to CHAOS THEORY and MARLOW MARINA on the inner, all these runners were checked with BELFAST SMARTY forced to run widest on to the bend when avoiding running on to heels.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520	Soon after the start SHERIFF ROSCOE angled out across heels running in to and bumping with CAWBOURNE GABLE, a couple of strides on OPAWA MESSINI raced across running in to CAWBOURNE GABLE pushing this runner sideways in to the hind of LILY MA'S SMOKING checking both these runners, SHERIFF ROSCOE was checked again at this point as CAWBOURNE GABLE came back on to him. CAWBOURNE GABLE and SHERIFF ROSCOE lost moment and ground to be a clear last in the running racing in to the back straight. SHERIFF ROSCOE raced wide there after covering extra ground finishing in last placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have pain over the near hind thigh area a 7 day stand down was recommended. CAWBOURNE GABLE finished in last placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found LILY MA'S SMOKING after striking trouble in to the bend on the first occasion was unable to get back in to contention there after.
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	In the run to the first bend SO UNBELIEAVABLE from box 1 attempted to push outwards on to BUSTER BOY, OPAWA PERISSA with FIVE KAY LEG angling inwards resulting in tightening OPAWA PERISSA back in on to BUSTER BOY and SO UNBELIEVABLE turning these runners sideways with SO UNBELIEVABLE going back on to ALAMEIN DUKE . SO UNBELIEVABLE went back to the rear and was unable to get back in to contention finishing in the rear at the line. OPAWA PERISSA and BUSTER BOY also lost ground in this incident and were unable to improve there after. SO UNBELIEVABLE was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. The Stewards reviewed the head on film of the run up the home straight where early in the run home it appeared that SO UNBELIEVABLE may have turned his head out towards OPAWA PERISSA for a stride or so, the film was clear in this regard that this was not the case no further action was taken.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 520	Racing in to the bend on the first occasion PRIVETE ACTION and BUSINESS REVIEW came together for a stride. WALL AGE from box 6 raced widest throughout covering extra ground finishing in 6th placing at the line.
Race 13	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	OPEHU FLYER box 1 was away well vying for the lead in the early stages attempted to push outwards as the field raced in to the first bend MIGHTY MAC improved past angling inwards in to the shoulder of OPEHU FLYER forcing this runner in tightening and checking RALLY SARIOUS and TRACEY, OPEHU FLYER lost momentum going back through the field to the rear and was unable to improve there after finishing in the rear at the line. TRACEY was unable to get back in to contention finishing towards the rear at the line. OPEHU FLYER was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have pain over the right whip muscle a 10 day stand down was recommended.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	ELECTRIC DANDY box 8 was slow away again today. CAWBOURNE MARK box 7 appeared to slip in behind for a stride as he got away . CAWBOURNE MARK attempted to make ground along the inner across the top bend, on the home turn CAWBOURNE MARK appeared to be uncomfortable in his galloping action in behind in the run up the home straight. Soon crossing the line CAWBOURNE MARK fell and recovered to his paws and was referred on to the vet for assessment where the dog was found to be suffering from cramp, CAWBOURNE MARK recovered quickly at the kennel block after examination no stand down was recommended. Trainers Poutama/Gommans informed the Stewards that CAWBOURNE MARK has been retired from racing as from today's meeting.
Race 15	METEOR OPD WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	Racing away off the mat SCOOTERS ROSE ( fav ) ran in sharply on to IF IT FITZ, BIGTIME CHIP and SEDGEBROOK ASSET who was shunted back stumbling slightly at this point. INDEFINATE ORDER box 1 ran outwards across the face of runners soon after the start but was clear causing no interference. Racing in to the first bend BIGTIME CHIP angled in across heels tightening SEDGEBROOK ASSET in on to IF IT FITZ. SCOOTERS ROSE caught back in midfield was tightened and checked again at this point running wide in to the bend covering extra ground she recovered well to finish in to 2nd placing at the line.
