Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition being well groomed throughout the meeting. All other equipment operated well.

Judicial report: Trainer A Turnwald applied under rule ( 79.7 ) to have the endorsement cancelled for TOP PROSECUTOR with this dog having completed 10 clear runs pursuant to rule 79.1.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C0 - C0 - 305	Soon after the start GULLY SCREAMER and KILLALEA STAR came together as NEISY'S BABE box 4 ran in across their heels checking and taking GUNNAR BLUEBLOOD inwards. Racing in to the first bend GULLY SCREAMER ran in to the hind of KILLALEA STAR pushing this runner inwards checking NESIY'S BABE. NESIY'S BABE and GULLY SCREAMER were checked again racing on to the bend as GUNNAR BLUEBLOOD checked over the heels of KILLALEA STAR as this runner was attempting to improve her position.
Race 2	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C0 - C0 - 305	KHAL DRAGO box 3 began awkwardly for a stride then ran outwards sharply . Racing in to the first bend KHAL DRAGO changed ground inwards along with STAY GROOVY coming together with HOMEBUSH BAILEY all these three runners lost momentum and several lengths. Racing across the top bend STAY GROOVY ran wide again covering extra ground ,HOMEBUSH BAILEY came out bumping KHAL DRAGO who ran wide on to the top bend these three runners were unable to get in to contention there after finishing well back at the line.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING C0 - C0 - 305	SCOTTA PIE sat down in the boxes and went up with the lids on getting away being last in to stride. Racing to the first bend MATTIE BLUEBLOOD angled across on to the shoulder of STEFFI'S STAR pushing this runner in on to MISS MUFFET and SPEEDY BLUEBLOOD. SPEEDY BLUEBLOOD caught the heels of STEFFI'S STAR almost dragging this runner down ,STEFFI'S STAR lost momentum going back with SCOTTA PIE running in to and across the hind of STEFFI'S STAR, SCOTTA PIE stumbled running out wide as he regained his balance. SPEEDY BLUEBLOOD, SCOTTA PIE and STEFFI'S STAR all finished towards the rear at the line. STEFFI'S STAR and SCOTTA PIE were referred to the vet for assessment SCOTTA PIE was found to be clear of abnormalities. STEFFI'S STAR was found to have to the right thigh area a 7 day stand down was recommended.
Race 4	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 - C0 - 520	All clear
Race 5	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 520	LILY MA'S SMOKING box 8 began awkwardly almost going down on her nose being last in to the bend on the first occasion and was unable to improve there after. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion SILVER TOKAM was tightened for racing room being hampered for a couple of strides.
Race 6	KEENAN CONCRETE C1 - C1 - 305	EMBRACE ME box 8 missed the jump by several lengths ,was soon in to stride making quick ground around the outer to finish best in the run home to win. Soon after the start AZURE DREAMS raced across the face of BEVS NEW POINT on to BUZZY AS resulting in TANK'S ROB and DARK WITCH in behind these runners catching heels losing momentum for a few strides. Racing in to the first bend BEVS NEW POINT and BUZZY AS came together bumping and jostling for a couple of strides and were tightened slightly as EMBRACE ME raced past angling inwards. TANK'S ROB was slightly hampered again at this point when in the rear.
Race 7	AON CPF C1 - C1 - 305	KIRKHAM COBY ( fav ) box 3 dwelt slightly at the jump was soon in to stride to race up between runners coming together with COME ON MICKEY jostling for a couple of strides where KIRKHAM COBY getting a length on COME ON MICKEY and ran in on to the shoulder of CRYSTALL MCBELL jostling with this runner for a couple of strides, DOOSH raced up on the outer of KIRKHAM COBY angling inwards hampering KIRKHAM COBY who went back catching and stumbling off the heels of COME ON MICKEY. ANOTHER COVER was forced to race widest on to the bend after being pushed out as OUR SWIFT BUDDY crossed over heels pushing ODD FELLOW wide at this point. OUR SWIFT BUDDY after being forced wide on to the bend ran on well for 2nd placing at the line. KIRKHAM COBY went back to the rear and was unable to get back in to contention finishing in last placing at the line. KIRKHAM COBY was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 8	THE ROCK 95.2FM C1 - C1 - 520	LICK IT UP was subject to a Vet check prior to pre -race parade as a precaution., and was referred to the vet after finishing in 4th placing at the line with no abnormalities found. Racing from the boxes OPAWA SPICE ran across the face of OPAWA MAF checking this runner for a stride. Racing in to the bend on the first occasion OPAWA SPICE angled in on to LEKTRA SPIDER and LICK IT UP resulting in LEKTRA SPIDER checking outwards on to OPWA SPICE who ran outwards forcing CAWBOURNE BIRD to race very wide around this first turn covering a fair amount of extra ground.
Race 9	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	MIDNIGHT ACTION box 6 was slowest away. Soon after the start SHEIKA SPRITE ( fav ) , CAWBOURNE ELPASO and RUA RAMA came together bumping and jostling for some strides with CAWBOURNE ELPASO and RUA RAMA being tightened and checked back a length or so. SHEIKA SPRITE then came together with HOMEBUSH SLINKY with two runners being tightened in to the first bend as CAWBOURNE ELPASO and TERRA TRIP improved on their outer . SHEIKA SPRITE was jostled , soon after CAWBOURNE ELPASO ran on to the hind of SHEIKA SPRITE checking back on to RUA RAMA catching this dogs heels causing SHEIKA SPRITE to stumble and run wide on to the top bend as he recovered his balance. SHEIKA SPRITE lost all chance at this point finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where he was found to have pain in the left gracilis a 7 day stand down was recommended. CAWBOURNE ELPASO was also referred to the vet for assessment and found to have a webbing abrasion to the right fore a 5 day stand down was recommended.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 305	Soon after the start HOLLY BLUE BLOOD, ANNIE WAY and KAY MARTING ( fav ) came together jostling and tightening for several strides. Racing across the top bend GULLY FLAHERTY racing midfield was tightened as SEDGEBROOK CHARM angled down with SO UNBEILIEVABLE on the outer also angling inwards. GULLY FLAHERTY was checked back to the rear losing momentum and was unable to improve there after
Race 11	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 520	Racing in to the bend on the first occasion TRACEY angled in on to CANDID ANGEL and SHERIFF ROSCOE these runners bumped and jostled with SHERIFF ROSCOE catching the hind of TRACEY and running outwards sharply on to CANDID ANGEL with both runners being checked losing ground to be a clear last in the running and they were unable to improve their positions there after finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 12	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	OPAWA VIV box 6 was slowest away ,racing towards the rear throughout and appeared to be lame on pulling up to the lure and was referred to the vet for assessment where a hock injury was suspected and confirmed after being re-examined later in the meeting. FIVE KAY LEG racing handy across the top bend was checked as TOTES raced through on her inner ,CAWBOURNE PEEJAY on their outer ran very wide at this point when avoiding the interference. FIVE KAY LEG lost her position back towards the rear finishing in 7th placing at the line.
Race 13	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	From the jump SEDGEBROOK ASSET box 8 ran across the face of MINIMAL checking this runner further in PREMIER PRINCE box 5 ran out across the face of GULLY YAPPA checking this runner. SEDGEBROOK ASSET ran widest in to the first bend continuing out wide for the rest of the race with MAGIC DANDY racing wide also towards and in to the home straight both finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 14	MAX REFRIDGERATION C1 - C1 - 305	CHINESE STAR racing midfield across the top bend drifted back to the rear finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have a injuries to a tendon on the right hind a 49 day stand down was recommended. BELFAST SMARTY from box 1 ran widest in to and across the top bend covering a fair amount of extra ground finishing well back at the line.
Race 15	METEOR OPD C1 - C1 - 305	Racing away from the start ANOTHER RELM angled outwards hampering OPAWA TOMMO for a few strides. racing in to the first bend ANOTHER RELM angled out across the face of PRINCESS NOVAK, MADAM ICE and CAWBOURNE HINT resulting in these three runners coming together ,CAWBOURNE HINT caught the hind of ANOTHER RELM at this point and went inwards catching a heel of JOHNNY ANGEL. PRINCESS NOVAK and MADAM ICE ran widest on to the top bend after striking trouble earlier both finishing towards the rear at the line.
