Judicial report: 1) Trainer C Roberts was fined $50.00 as per the Minor Infringement Table under Rule 68.8.b. when failing to present the papers for CAWBOURNE MIAMI. 2) LAGOON TWIST (C Roberts) was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1.b. for failing to pursue the lure during Race 7 with this dog also having to complete a Satisfactory Trial.

Race 1	Super Pets Sprint - C0 - 295	PASS WITH CARE (5) was last to jump. SPRING SAM (7) ran inwards into the bend checking PASS WITH CARE. FLASH THE CASH (6) was dragged down for a stride entering the bend losing momentum. PASS WITH CARE and FLASH THE CASH were both checked and cleared by the vet post race.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Rosemary Blackburn Sprint - C2 - 295	ONLY GOT TIME (1) ran outwards in the early stages checking STARBURST EMMA (2) and JINJA BRIAN (3) which lost ground. GIGANAIRE (5) ran outwards in the back straight checking CHIPPY JORDY (6). Into the bend CHIPPY JORDY angled inwards and came together with JINJA BRIAN losing momentum simultaneously to ONLY GOT TIME again running outwards checking JINJA BRIAN. GIGANAIRE ran wide in the home straight.
Race 3	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C0 - 520	This race was delayed by 2 minutes at the request of Raceday Control. SURGING EMBER (4) and GOLDSTAR DELTA (8) were both very slow from the traps with GOLDSTAR DELTA on its hind legs when the traps opened. Upon close inspection of the replays of the start in the presence of Co-Trainer S Evans it was not possible to establish that GOLDSTAR DELTA had turned in the boxes however a warning was placed on its starting manners. LETHAL ACTION (6) shifted outwards on dispatch briefly checking FILL YA BOOTS (7). Into the first bend LETHAL ACTION clipped the heels of OPAWA LEANNA (3) and fell. LETHAL ACTION regained its paws and completed the race with the vet clearing it of any injury. SUCH FUN (2) was checked on the first bend when held up behind runners and ran outwards forcing OPAWA LEANNA over extra ground.
Race 4	Business Time At Stud Dash - C0 - 295	OAKS HILL (1) and NEISY'S BABE (3) were the slowest to jump. IDOL STAR (6) angled inwards and came together with MISS HARPER (5) for a stride before shifting outwards and colliding with JAMES MCBELL (7). MISS HARPER ran inwards into the bend tightening JINGA SNAG (2) with MISS HARPER being badly dragged down. DEMAN BLUE BLOOD (8) then crossed down the track and was dragged down losing momentum. JINGA SNAG and NEISY'S BABE were both forced wide at this stage with this pair coming together wider on the track. Due to the amount of interference in this event Stewards requested vet checks of all runners with no abnormalities reported.
Race 5	Coalgate Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	MAGIC WIZARD (5) shifted outwards in the early stages and received a check when contacting RICH ACTION (7). Into the first bend BIG JOHN CANON (1) ran outwards and dragged CAWBOURNE DALLAS (8) down for a stride with JAYBE ALBIE (2) and RICH ACTION both being forced wider on the track. OPAWA KENDAL (6) was tightened and ran outwards on the first bend with CAWBOURNE DALLAS and BIG JOHN CANON checked in consequence. In the back straight JAYBE ALBIE ran outwards coming together with BIG JOHN CANON with JAYBE ALBIE losing momentum. CAWBOURNE DALLAS was checked and cleared by the vet post race.
Race 6	Carol's TAB Clendon Inn Sprint - C0 - 295	TRUE TO LIFE (4) and HOMEBUSH BAILEY (6) were the last pair on jumping. CLEVER SAGE (5) and SWEET ABBY LEE (7) came together in the early stages. CLEVER SAGE was checked into the bend losing ground with the trailing UNO JASON (1) and MACHINE MAN (2) inconvenienced. MACHINE MAN and SWEET ABBY LEE bumped on the home turn.
Race 7	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Distance - C1d - 645	GOLDSTAR AVERY (1) was badly tightened into the first bend and ran outwards causing severe checks to GOLDSTAR JAGGER (4), LAGOON TWIST (6) and CAWBOURNE KENNY (7) with this quartet losing ground. With a lap to run GOLDSTAR AVERY shifted outwards checking CAWBOURNE MIAMI (2). On the final turn LAGOON TWIST turned its head outwards free of interference towards GOLDSTAR JAGGER. Post race veterinary checks revealed no injury to GOLDSTAR JAGGER with a nail injury to LAGOON TWIST being detected with a 10 day stand down recommended. As this is not considered a serious injury in terms of Rule 79, LAGOON TWIST was stood down for 28 days under Rule 79.1.b. and must complete a satisfactory trial before resuming.
Race 8	Waihemo Lodge Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295	CABARITA (4) ran inwards on dispatch checking MAX STIX (3). Wider out ABIT SCARLET (5), PEP'S TERRA (6) and SMOKING MARLEY (7) collided in the early stages. CAWBOURNE EDEN (8) ran inwards into the bend causing a check to SMOKING MARLEY which was also dragged down in this incident. HOMEBUSH FITZROY (1) was tightened at this stage and ran outwards badly checking ABIT SCARLET which became unbalanced. On the home turn PEP'S TERRA ran inwards checking SMOKING MARLEY which dropped to the rear. In the home straight BURSAR (2) shifted up the track. ABIT SCARLET was cleared of injury post race but SMOKING MARLEY was found to have a split nail with a 10 day stand down recommended.
Race 9	Zebidiah At Stud Dash - C1 - 295	Due to KING CAESAR (2) having been difficult to box in recent starts permission was granted for this dog to be boxed first. KING CAESAR and FANCY NOMIKAI (5) were the last pair on jumping. FANCY NOMIKAI ran inwards into the bend tightening KING CAESAR and ANOTHER VESPA (1). On the home turn RUN ZOLA (7) and KING CAESAR came together when well back.
Race 10	Greyhounds As Pets Stakes - C1 - 520	GOLDSTAR DALLAS (4) and HELLS A COMING (6) were the last pair on jumping. TAMARA MAY (3) was tightened and badly checked with a lap to run dropping to a clear last. OPAWA MINSTREL (2) also received some tightening in this incident. HELLS A COMING ran wide around the first bend. TAMARA MAY and OPAWA MINSTREL were referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 11	MTA Gift Vouchers Dash - C2 - 295	WHIP UPPA STORM (1) spreadeagled itself on jumping and bounded for a stride settling a clear last. TIMELY REMINDER (8) was a touch slow to begin. ANOTHER BELLE (6) was tightened into the bend. WICKED WINSTON (5) ran outwards early in the run home coming together with ANOTHER BELLE which was unbalanced briefly. WHIP UPPA STORM was checked and cleared by the vet post race.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C2 - 295	MAX BRAINSTRAIN (5) was last to jump. BUDGIE RIGHT (3) was tightened into the bend and lost ground. The trailing ZORBA THE GREEK (7) then ran inwards forcing SWEET MARYLOU (6) down the track on to OHOKA HOPE (2) with this pair losing ground. On the home turn BUDGIE RIGHT checked outwards off the heels of ROYAL ACTION (8). OHOKA HOPE and SWEET MARYLOU were both checked and cleared by the vet post race.
