Judicial report: Trainer D Barnes has advised Stewards that following its run on Tuesday, GORDONS MY MATE was found to have stifle soreness and a groin strain with the dog being presented to the Vet today and scratched from tomorrow's engagement. As a result of the injury the warning on the dog's racing performance has been rescinded.

Race 1	Super Pets Dash - C3 - 295	STRUGGLE IS REAL (4) ran inwards brushing WALLY BAXTER (3) in the early stages. Into the bend STRUGGLE IS REAL angled outwards simultaneously to GO POPPY (8) running inwards with consequent tightening to JINJA BILLY (7), KNOW LAPSE (9/6) and WOOLY WHATSIT (5). OPAWA CRUSADE (2) was held up in behind these runners. STRUGGLE IS REAL and KNOW LAPSE both raced wide on the home turn. When questioned in regards to the improved performance of the winner FEAR MARINA (1) kennel representative J McInerney Jnr stated that the dog had come back from a decent spell and started on Tuesday with this run improving him for today. The inside draw was also a factor in the improvement.
Race 2	The Turf Bar Sprint - C3 - 295	GOLDSTAR BOMBER (5) was a late scratching by order of Stewards under Rule 38.3.l. after escaping from the handler and getting to the lure at stir ups. SPEEDY RETURN (3) and GOOD GENES (4) were a touch slow to begin. OPAWA COLIN (7) received a slight check in the back straight as NORMAN JEWEL (8) ran inwards. BIG MUDDY (1) checked outwards off heels into the bend with SPEEDY RETURN and NORMAN JEWEL both hampered briefly. OPAWA COLIN raced wide over the concluding stages.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3 - 295	SPEEDY DISPATCH (2) and OPAWA LEAN MEAT (4) were the last pair to jump. TOKEN ACE (7) was tightened into the bend losing ground. SPEEDY DISPATCH was held up in behind runners into the bend and ran outwards checking OPAWA LEAN MEAT which was unbalanced. MANDI MAE (8) ran outwards on the home turn pushing OPAWA LEAN MEAT over extra ground. SPEEDY DISPATCH was checked and cleared by the vet post race.
Race 4	Active Electrical Christchurch Stakes - C2 - 520	ZIPPING SONNY (4) and ARCANE SABRE (7) were the last pair from the traps. ESTER ACTION (8) ran inwards sharply in the early stages with THRILLING LUKE (3) receiving a check. KNOW WORTH (2) ran outwards with a lap to run and collided with OPAWA ALEX (6) for a stride. KNOW WORTH was inclined to race wide throughout. ZIPPING SONNY remained last in a gap and was referred to the vet for assessment with no abnormalities detected.
Race 5	David Emerson Consultancy Sprint - C4 - 295	HOMEBUSH ZIPPY (7) was very slow to jump. BERRIDALE LAD (3) and SMASH RUMOUR (4) were both tightened in the early stages. Into the bend ALEX RUMBLE (5) ran inwards pushing BERRIDALE LAD into the rail. BERRIDALE LAD then came together with ALEX RUMBLE with this runner dragged down for a stride. On the bend GET READY FREDDY (7) ran inwards and when crossing MARK BE GOOD was checked from behind with both runners losing ground. MARK BE GOOD was again checked on the home turn and was badly unbalanced after running inwards and contacting SMASH RUMOUR as that dog improved to its inside. BERRIDALE LAD, ALEX RUMBLE, GET READY FREDDY and MARK BE GOOD were all referred to the vet after these incidents and cleared of injury.
Race 6	Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C4 - 295	OPAWA OPAL (1) was last to jump. COLLECTING MONEY (4) angled inwards in the back straight pushing DREAM LARGE (3) and RAPAKI KATH (2) down the track. ROADWORKS (5) got on heels into the bend and lost momentum. ROADWORKS then checked outwards off the heels of kennelmate COLLECTING MONEY on the home turn and struck the hind quarters of CULVIE GODFATHER (8) with this pair losing their chances. ROADWORKS and CULVIE GODFATHER were both referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 7	Barron's Supplies Sprint - C4/5 - 295	SMASH THAT (4) and KERAMUS (7) were the last pair on jumping. PUMA PANTS (2) shifted outwards in the back straight pushing NEW THANG (3) outwards on to MAUDIE'S BABE (5). Into the bend NEW THANG angled marginally inwards colliding with PUMA PANTS and stumbled and lost ground with the trailing MAUDIE'S BABE, GOLD VIPA (8) and KERAMUS all being badly checked. GOLD VIPA lost her footing in this incident. NEW THANG, GOLD VIPA and KERAMUS were referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormalities.
Race 8	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C3 - 520	JON SNOW LIVES (8) was last to jump. RUSHCUTER ACTION (7) and OPAWA BUCKS EYE (6) collided in the early stages. OPAWA VAL (5) and JON SNOW LIVES ran wide around the first bend with this pair again covering extra ground on the home turn when well back.
Race 9	Chris & Lisa Earl Dash - C4/5 - 295	PAPERBOND (3) ran outwards on dispatch checking BARNICLE BULLET (4) with this pair dropping to the rear. Into the bend FIREMANS GALAXY (6) ran inwards checking GRIFINATOR (2) which ran outwards contacting the hind quarters of BLACK CROW (8) and badly checking BELIEVE (5) which lost its chance. GRIFINATOR and BELIEVE were referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 10	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C5 - 520	SOUTHERN LIGHTS (3), BOSTON BILLY (5) and KAVA BLU (8) were the last trio on jumping. TRUST ISSUES (7) was checked into the first bend losing ground. BOSTON BILLY and KAVA BLU came together on the first bend after BOSTON BILLY had shifted ground outwards.
Race 11	Hampden Tavern Sprint - C4/5 - 295	BOUND TO ERUPT (2) was a touch slow to jump. HOMEBUSH KELSO (3) lost ground into the bend when racing to the outside of ARBRE CHENE (1). This caused the trailing KNOW KNOWING (5) to lose ground and be struck from behind by GRAND APACHE (4) with KNOW KNOWING dropping to the rear. OM NOM NOM (8) was pushed wide in this incident. KNOW KNOWING was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury.
Race 12	Livamol Sprint - C4 - 295	DAD'S AMBITION (3) and AIDEN BAXTER (4) were the last pair on settling. OHOKA BILLY (6) ran inwards in the back straight tightening OPAWA ROCKET (2) and MULBERRY BROOK (1). AIDEN BAXTER raced wide around the home turn.
