Track: Good Track was presented in a very good racing order being well watered and groomed throughout. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights

Judicial report: FLYING MERKEL ( L Ahern ) completed a satisfactory trial and is now cleared to race from 6-5-2016.
READY MADE MAN ( L Ahern ) completed a satisfactory trial and is now cleared to race from 4-7-2016.
SHEIKA SPRITE ( L Ahern ) completed a satisfactory trial and is cleared to race from 28-4-2016.

Race 1	Formpro Ratings Free Every Monday C0 - C0 - 375	Racing away from the boxes EVA'S STORM box 2 ran out sharply in to PICKERING pushing this runner out across the face of ANOTHER RANGER checking this runner. LET'S GO SPRITE ( fav ) raced to the lead heading in to the bend cutting in across the face of BELFAST BARRY checking this runner for a stride. EVA'S STORM racing handy in to the first bend was hampered for some strides as PICKERING pushed inwards. EVA'S STORM went back a couple of lengths then ran very wide in to the home straight finishing a margin in the rear at the line where she was observed to be lame and was referred to the vet for assessment where it appeared that the dog had cramped and recovered soon after with no stand down recommended.
Race 2	Greyhounds As Pets C1 - C1 - 375	FANGIRL box 2 was slowest in to stride. WORKING JEWEL vying for the lead in the run to the first bend bumped in to the shoulder of EAR'S BORIS coming out on to BANSHEE BOY resulting in TOTES ( fav ) and CHAIR UP running on to the heels and hind of WORKING JEWEL severely hampering this runner. WORKING JEWEL lost momentum to be a clear last in the running there after finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment and was found to have injuries to right 7 left lattimus muscles a 21 day stand down was recommended.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone C1 - C1 - 375	SAMMY BAXTER and DOOSH racing handy on the inner were tightened as UNO NIGEL raced to the lead angling across . SAMMY BAXTER lost a length or so at this point. PREMIER PRINCE and ELITE DOSE both ran widest in to the top bend.
Race 4	Buck Fever At Stud C1 - C1 - 375	ADDA BOY ZEKE in his first start for 4 months finished towards the rear at the line . He was referred to the vet at the Trainers request on returning to the kennels and was found to have an injury to the right accessory carpal bone.
Race 5	Shakey Jakey At Rocky Ridge C2 - C2 - 375	Racing away from the start ALCUDIA and CAWBOURNE NEVADA bumped for a stride. BIGTIME REDFOO angled across in to the first bend pushing in on to JOEY BAXTER, EVA KANEVA and CAWBOURNE who went back and on to the heels of BELFAST SMARTY. Racing on to the bend CAWBOURNE NEVADA and ALCUDIA ( fav ) were both forced wide in to the bend on their inner BELFAST SMARTY ran on to and over the heels of BIGTIME REDFOO ,BELFAST SMARTY ran out in to the line of EVA KANEVA checking this runner back a couple of lengths. EVA KANEVA after striking trouble made good ground to finish in to 3rd placing at the line.
Race 6	Affordable Pet Accessories C3 - C3 - 375	Racing away from the start PACIFIC VIBE was tightened and checked back as PAUA SHOT ran in pushing PACIFIC VIBE on to CHAIMBO. PACIFIC VIBE lost momentum and was last in to the first bend finishing in 6th placing at the line.
Race 7	The Wright Decorator C2 NZ Bred - SPECA - 375	THRILLING BORIS ( fav ) box 2 dwelt slightly then ran inwards across the heels of HOMEBUSH GINGER. BOTANY WIN box 5 ran across sharply from the boxes bumping in to HOMEBUSH GINGER , HOMEBUSH DODGER was forced to run across the heels of BOTANY WIN and HOMEBUSH GINGER. Racing in to the first bend THRILLING BORIS on the inner was tightened and checked as BOTANY WIN improving fast ducked in across the heels of HOMEBUSH GINGER tightening HOMEBUSH DODGER in on to THRILLING BORIS, a couple of strides on in to the bend THRILLING BORIS and BOTANY WIN came together with THRILLING BORIS making contact with the rail losing momentum and a few lengths back in to midfield. THRILLING BORIS recovered back in to stride and was a fair way from the leaders in to the home straight ran on strongly in to 4th placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.
Race 8	Manawatu Harness Racing C4/5 - C4/5 - 375	Racing away from the start ALLEGRO TOUCH ran across bumping CAWBOURNE BUTTSY in on to SHERLOCK IZMIR and SUBIC BAY all these runners were checked for a stride or so with CAWBOURNE BUTTSY and SHERLOCK IZMIR being squeezed back to be last in the running in to the bend. CAWBOURNE BUTTSY and SHERLOCK IZMIR were unable to get back in to stride there after.
Race 9	Outback Trading Comapny C1 - C1 - 457	Soon after the start CAWBOURNE SPREE ran inwards across the face of CAWBOURNE PACIFIC. A couple of strides on KENNEL BOY went back off CAWBOURNE PANIC running in to MAP MY RUN ( fav ) . Racing in to the bend ALAMEIN BLONDE angled in across from midfield with MAP MY RUN being tightened and jostled between WALL AGE and KENNEL BOY ,MAP MY RUN went back catching the hind of WALLAGE and going back on to LEKTRA SPIDER ,both dogs were checked losing all chance there after and were referred to the vet on for assessment. LEKTRA SPIIDER and MAP MY RUN were found to be clear of abnormalities.
Race 10	Preston's Master Butchers C2 - SPECA - 457	CAWBOURNE STEPS dwelt at the start racing towards the rear in to the first bend where he was forced to check back off heels as CROWD GOES WILD came back on to OPAWA GAVIN with CAWBOURNE STEPS catching his heels losing momentum to be last in the running . KIRKHAM HARVEY ran widest in to the bend covering extra ground where he finished towards the rear at the line.
Race 11	Personal Protective Services C4 - SPECA - 457	DR BRM box 7 scrambled on getting away from the start for a stride or so was also hampered as STINGER angled across quickly from the jump. BORIS GUMP box 2 dwelt at the start. DR BRM and BORIS GUMP raced widest in to and across the top bend both runners were unable to get in to contention there after finishing towards the rear at the line.
Race 12	wheeldeal.co.nz C4/5 - C4/5 - 457	CAWBOURNE CLOVER was a late scratching at kennelling when found to have a left carpal injury a 7 day stand down was recommended. Trainer M Roberts was spoken to in regards to the late scratching with his explanation being excepted. ZIPPING JOCK underwent a pre race examination due to showing symptons of Diarrhoea which were dispelled with the dog being vetted all clear to start. ZIPPING JOCK box 6 was slowest away racing towards the rear in to the first bend where he ran on to the heels of CAWBOURNE CROUCH momentarily losing some momentum .ZIPPING JOCK attempted to improve wider out racing wide in to the home straight and made good ground up in the latter stages. In the run to the first bend CAWBOURNE CROUCH in behind the leaders was checked after getting on the heels of TAKAMORI and becoming unbalanced for a few strides. CAWBOURNE CROUCH was unable to get in to contention there after finishing in last placing at the line.
