DEMAN BLUE BLOOD (5) was tightened by KING SIMBA (4) into the bend and lost ground. JINGA SNAG (2) angled outwards on the bend off the heels of KING SIMBA with CATLIN BLUEBLOOD being forced very wide. JUNGA SNAG raced wide in the home straight. |
| Race 2 | Happy Birthday Pat Low Sprint - C0 - 295 | PASS WITH CARE (3) was very slow to jump. KAYLAH BLUEBLOOD (6) ran inwards colliding with IDOL STAR (5) in the early stages. Into the bend CHILL OUT RACH (10/2) ran inwards tightening KAYLAH BLUEBLOOD which lost momentum and caused the trailing IDOL STAR to be badly held up. CLEVER SAGE (7) was also checked at this stage and ran outwards pushing HOMEBUSH GRACIE (8) wider on the track. PROMISES MAID (1) switched wide in the run home with CLEVER SAGE also racing wide in the home straight. |
| Race 3 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C2 - 295 | JINJA BRIAN (5) was last to jump. TIME SLAYER (3) angled outwards in the early stages coming together with CHICAGO BLACK (4). KNOCKA FEW BACK (1) was tightened into the bend and then ran outwards checking TIME SLAYER, CHICAGO BLACK and OPAWA CRUSADE (7). JINJA BRIAN was pushed wide in this incident. KNOCKA FEW BACK was further checked into the home straight by CHICAGO BLACK. KNOCKA FEW BACK was referred to the vet for assessment and found to be free of injury. |
| Race 4 | Cheviot Lodge Hotel Dash - C2 - 295 | KNOW THANKS (6) was a shade slow on jumping. GIGANAIRE (1) ran outwards in the back straight checking JIMMY HAMMER (3), KNOW THANKS and BADUZZI (2) with BROOKE DAVIS (7) also inconvenienced. BADUZZI ran outwards on the home turn and pushed KNOW THANKS wider on the track. |
| Race 5 | Zebidiah At Stud Stakes - C0 - 520 | SUCH FUN (1) was a late scratching at kenneling when found to have diarrhoea and a high temperature. TODD BLUE BLOOD (8) was very slow to jump and remained last and wide throughout with a post race veterinary check revealing no abnormalities. Into the first bend SMASH FIRE (3) checked outwards off the heels of OPAWA MERC (4) with an improving FILL YA BOOTS (6) and OPAWA HARRY (7) both being pushed wider on the track. OPAWA MERC raced wide around the home turn. |

SPEEDY BLUEBLOOD (10/7) shifted down the track in the early stages pushing HOMEBUSH BAILEY (6) inwards with contact made with OAKS HILL (4). KING CAESAR (2) ran outwards into the bend checking OAKS HILL which lost ground. MINOR BRAINWAVE (3) and MARY BLUE BLOOD both ran wide on the home turn. HOMEBUSH BAILEY and OAKS HILL brushed together in the home straight. |
| Race 7 | Waihemo Lodge Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295 | TEPIRITA HENDRIX (4) was badly tightened in the early stages and dropped to a clear last. TEPIRITA HENDRIX was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormality. YOU'RE THE BEST (3) ran outwards into the bend and continued to race wide into the home straight. |
| Race 8 | Business Time At Stud Sprint - C2 - 295 | MAX BRAINSTRAIN (8) was last on jumping. BHUJA (7) ran inwards and collided with HOMEBUSH ERROL (6) with BHUJA losing ground. HOMEBUSH ERROL ran inwards into the bend contacting the hind quarters of FLIBERTY JIBERTY (4) and losing ground. WHIP UPPA STORM (3) was checked from behind by OHOKA COBY (1) on the bend with both runners losing momentum and OHOKA COBY running wide as a result. |
| Race 9 | Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C1 - 520 | HELL'S A COMING (6) was last on jumping. BOTANY ALAN (5) ran inwards in the run to the first bend with GOLDSTAR JAGGER (4) and OPAWA ROB (1) receiving tightening and losing ground. BOTANY ALAN and JAYBE ALBIE (3) bumped together rounding the first bend with HELL'S A COMING racing very wide at this stage. At the end of the back straight BOTANY ALAN lost ground when racing to the outside of HOMEBUSH BUCK (8) with the trailing OPAWA ROB being badly held up in consequence. GOLDSTAR JAGGER raced wide over the concluding stages. |
| Race 10 | Opawa Bowl & Jack Tavern Dash - C1 - 295 | JACKPOT JAKE (4) ran inwards in the back straight tightening BURN EARLY (3), DEVILSKIN (9/2) and CUPCAKE (1). CUPCAKE then ran very wide on the home turn losing ground. CUPCAKE was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any injury. |

KNOW CONTEST was then tightened into the bend when racing to the inside of SMOKING MARLEY and lost momentum. |

JEWEL EAGLE (5) angled marginally outwards on the first bend pushing CAWBOURNE DALLAS and CAWBOURNE KENNY (8) wider on the track. On that bend PUNCH ON JAIME (3) went off stride and drifted to a long last with this bitch suffering a torn gracilis muscle. |
| Race 13 | Hampden Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295 | TIP THE BABE (8) was last to jump. JINJA WILLY (4) ran inwards in the early stages losing ground. THUNDER STORM (3) ran inwards into the bend badly tightening CAWBOURNE CRAIG (5) and JINJA WILLY with this pair dropping to the rear. UNO JAMES (9/2) and COLERIDGE JIM (6) both ran wide around the home turn. |
| Race 14 | Fast Archer At Stud Dash - C1 - 295 | Into the bend VAN GERWIN (1) ran outwards contacting BIGTIME TIP (6) with this pair dropping to the rear. VAN GERWIN then ran wide on the home turn losing more ground. This dog was referred to the vet for assessment where it was found to have cramped up with no stand down recommended. On the home turn PAGINI (3) ran inwards checking COSMIC CHELSEA (7) which in turn ran outwards pushing BIGTIME TIP wider on the track. |
| Race 15 | Snow-e Muscle, Energy & Fertility Sprint - C1 - 295 | CAWBOURNE DOTTY (8) was last to jump with GO TOMMO (6) and GOD PARTICLE (7) also settling well back. KNOW LUCK (3) was checked into the bend and lost ground with GO TOMMO and CAWBOURNE DOTTY being forced wide around the runner. KNOW LUCK then raced very wide around the home turn causing GO TOMMO to cover extra ground. |
