| Race 1 | Box1 Gold Sprint - C1 - 375 | JINJA MIA (2), ZALIA (3) and MR. FUSS POT (4) came together leaving the boxes. LOCHINVAR BELLE (7) was tightened losing ground entering the first turn. ZALIA (3) made contact with the hindquarters of SNAPCHAT (6) on several occasions rounding the bend. SNAPCHAT was referred to the veterinarian following this event with pain in the right long head triceps detected and a 21 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 2 | Greyhounds As Pets Sprint - C3 - 375 | RASSO (3) began awkwardly and was then further inconvenienced when OUR HEISENBERG (4) shifted in with RASSO and JINALESS (2) then coming together losing ground. THRILLING CARTER (7) raced wide throughout. |
| Race 3 | Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Stakes - C0 - 457 | FASHION'S FANCY (5) and SEMI AUTOMATIC (8) were slow away. OLIVIA (6) and WILLI GAS IT (7) came together soon after the start and were then further inconvenienced when MADSTONE (9) shifted out abruptly. EM HOLLAND (2) and HIGHWAY HOUND (4) came together soon after the start and again racing down the back straight with these runners both unbalanced with HIGHWAY HOUND losing ground. A Post race veterinary examination of HIGHWAY HOUND revealed a minor laceration with no stand down required. The Stewards reviewed the performance of HIGHWAY HOUND and in this instance were satisfied the interference received had contributed to this runner becoming detached from the field for a distance with HIGHWAY HOUND then improving entering the final straight. Rounding the bend OLIVIA was inconvenienced shifting out off the heels of TEEFONIC (1). FASHION'S FANCY raced wide. |
| Race 4 | DogZone Sprint - C1 - 375 | LORD DE AIR was a late scratching at 10.30am on veterinary advice. THAT ICE COLD (8) was slow away. BILL RUSH (6) began awkwardly losing ground. TAKE THE SHORTS (2) made contact with the hindquarters of SCOTT NO ODDS (1) leaving the boxes losing ground. SCOTT NO ODDS was tightened and inconvenienced rounding the first turn. TAKE THE SHORTS, BILL RUSH and THAT ICE COLD came together on for a distance rounding the first turn with these three runners losing ground. |
| Race 5 | Jewles at The Clubhouse 4th June Stakes - C1/2 - 457 | THRILLING RIOT (6) and BLACK DUDE (7) came together leaving the boxes with THRILLING RIOT then further inconvenienced when AUNTY TRACE (5) shifted out. TRYION (4) made contact with the hindquarters of GOLDEN IVY (3) for several strides racing toward the first turn with AUNTY TRACE then shifting in inconveniencing these runners with TYRION and GOLDEN IVY losing ground. THRILLING RIOT and BLACK DUDE came together entering the first turn with these runners losing ground. GOLDEN IVY shifted out rounding the bend taking BLACK DUDE wider on the track. AUNTY TRACE and DYLANS A VILLAIN (8) came together rounding the final bend with AUNTY TRACE then losing ground and shifting out off this runners heels. As a result SPINEL (2) and DYLANS A VILLAIN, who were trailing these runners shifted out with these runners coming together for several strides. |
| Race 6 | Superior Chunky Dog Rolls Sprint - C4 - 375 | STYLISH FANCY (8) was slow away. SACRED CAN YOU (2) and ATOONGA AIR (4) came together for several strides soon after the start. Entering the first turn SACRED CAN YOU, ATOONGA AIR, CAWBOURNE WALES (5) and STYLISH FANCY all came together with these runners badly unbalanced losing ground, CAWBOURNE WALES the worst affected. ATOONGA AIR, SACRED CAN YOU and STYLISH FANCY came together again rounding the bend with these runners losing ground. CAWBOURNE WALES shifted wide around these runners rounding the bend. |
| Race 7 | Hautapu Veterinary Services Stakes - C1 - 457 | SCOTT NO VALUE (6) and ZIMMER FRAME (9) came together leaving the boxes. Racing toward the first turn ELECTRIC IMPULSE (4) was inconvenienced when LOCHINVAR MAINE (2) shifted out. LOCHINVAR MAINE and SCOTT NO VALUE came together for several strides entering the first turn with these runners losing ground. Also inconvenienced as a result was ELECTRIC IMPULSE who was placed in restricted room to the inside of these runners losing ground. LOCHINVAR MAINE became awkwardly placed on the heels of ZIMMER FRAME rounding the bend losing ground. SCOTT NO VALUE shifted out rounding the bend to race very wide losing ground. |
| Race 8 | Couplands Dog Biscuits Sprint - C2 - 375 | JUMP ON IT (2) and AGENT SCHRADER (6) were slow away. Soon after the leaving the boxes LOOKS ALL GOOD (3) and PRAIRIE KACHINA (4) came together. Soon after ARMISTICE DAY (7) and PEACOCK PRINCESS (9) made solid contact. Racing toward the first turn LADY JANE (8) dictated PEACOCK PRINCESS inwards onto PRAIRIE KACHINA and LOOKS ALL GOOD who came together with these runners shifting in inconveniencing BIGTIME DASHER (1) with PRAIRIE KACHINA losing ground. As a result BIGTIME DASHER got on the heels of PRAIRIE KACHINA with these runners unbalanced and BIGTIME DASHER then shifting out making contact with JUMP ON IT who both lost ground. Also inconvenienced as a result was ARMISTICE DAY. LOOKS ALL GOOD was then placed in restricted room for a distance to the inside of PEACOCK PRINCESS with LOOKS ALL GOOD losing ground going back into the line of PRAIRIE KACHINA and AGENT SCHRADER. Rounding the bend AGENT SCHRADER shifted out off the heels of PEACOCK PRINCESS inconveniencing LOOKS ALL GOOD who shifted out into the line of ARMISTICE DAY who was checked losing ground. Entering the final straight PEACOCK PRINCESS shifted out off heels hampering AGENT SCHRADER who was taken wider into the line of BIGTIME DASHER who was inconvenienced. |
| Race 9 | Fond Foods Ltd Stakes - C4/5 - 457 | TAKAMORI (6) was inconvenienced at the start when shifting in onto the hindquarters of YAP'S ME MUM (5). TEEGAMBO (3) and ANGVELLA (4) came together soon after the start and again racing down the back straight with these runners shifting in hampering TIMMY TRUMPET (1) and FABIO (2) with TEEGAMBO, FABIO and TIMMY TRUMPET losing ground. TEEGAMBO then shifted out coming together with TAKAMORI with these runners then jostling for a distance. TEEGAMBO, FABIO and TAKAMORI came together rounding the first bend losing ground. |
| Race 10 | Palamountains Nutrition Sprint - C4/5 - 375 | TALKIN FANCY (6) shifted in leaving the boxes making contact with COUNTRY GUN (5). CHRIS'S PRIDE (4) shifted in leaving the boxes inconveniencing GUMBALANYA (3) who lost ground. TALKIN FANCY and COUNTRY GUN came together racing toward the first turn with these runners shifting in onto CHRIS'S PRIDE and DR. ROBBIE (1) with these runners all unbalanced with COUNTRY GUN, CHRIS'S PRIDE and DR. ROBBIE losing ground. As a result IRISH BLUE (2) had to steady and shift out off the heels of these runners making contact with GUMBALANYA who was also taken wider. COUNTRY GUN, CHRIS'S PRIDE and DR. ROBBIE continued to make contact for a distance rounding the bend with DR. ROBBIE becoming awkwardly placed shifting out across the hindquarters of CHRIS'S PRIDE with both runners badly unbalanced losing considerable ground. COUNTRY GUN and IRISH BLUE made contact rounding the bend. IRISH BLUE and GUMBALANYA made contact on several occasions rounding the bend with IRISH BLUE losing ground shifting out off the heels of this runner inconveniencing COUNTRY GUN entering the final straight. DR. ROBBIE and CHRIS'S PRIDE were referred to the veterinarian with no abnormalities detected. COUNTRY GUN was found to have neck pain following this event with the veterinarian imposing a 10 day stand down. |
| Race 11 | Affordable Pet Accessories Stakes - C3 - 457 | MELMAN (4) was last to leave the boxes and was then further inconvenienced when BORIS (3) shifted out and CRYING IN VEGAS (5) shifted in with these runners then making solid contact. Racing into the first turn BORIS was inconvenienced losing ground after getting on the heels of CRYING IN VEGAS. A post race veterinary examination of BORIS revealing split webbing and a 14 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 12 | Happy Birthday Peter Earley Stakes - C4 - 457 | GOOD RETURN (5) and BORIS GUMP (8) were last to leave the boxes. Racing down the back straight UNBROKEN (3) shifted in into the line of SCOLDELARIO (1) who shifted out checking NEW LOOK (2) then making solid contact with STINGER (4) with these runners then jostling for some distance then shifting in entering the first turn checking NEW LOOK. |
