Judicial report: Handlers B.Cole representing L.Ahern and K.Fraser representing M.Roberts were spoken to advisedly and reminded of their obligations to comply with the Rules in relation to kennelling times. An inquiry was opened and adjourned and will be referred to the JCA for adjudication in relation to Trainer W.T.Hodgson being late to kennel his three dogs in the first six races and also in relation to an allegation that he had used Improper and offensive language to a Steward.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL C2 - C2 - 305	HOMEBUSH LUCIFER was very slow to begin losing four lengths but he ran on well to finish in 3rd place. AZURE DREAMS shifted in abruptly from the start and checked DEATHSTAR which was briefly unbalanced but recovered to win the race. OPAWA LACHLAN shifted in going into the bend and checked MAGIC DANDY which lost four lengths. TELL THE BOYS led going to the first corner but appeared uncomfortable in his galloping action and drifted to finish in 5th place and was referred to the Vet for assessment. TELL THE BOYS was cleared of injury but under the provisions of Rule 80.1 is required to complete a satisfactory trial before being eligible to compete in a totalisator race.
Race 2	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS WANGANUI C3 F - C3 - 520	TOP PROSECUTOR shifted in going into the first bend and checked LADY ZEENA which lost several lengths and went back onto OPAWA JACKIE, TO THE BANK and AUNTY TRACE which were hampered and lost ground and they stayed back to finish in the last three places.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305	ELITE DOSE and LOLA BAXTER were awkwardly placed in restricted room going to the first corner and a short distance further on, they were checked back to the rear when MIGHTY TWIST and SASHA MCBELL shifted in and closed the gap to their inside.
Race 4	WANGANUI CHRONICLE C1 FINAL - C1f - 520	CAWBOURNE GABLE was a late scratching when found to have a leg injury when removed from the kennels to prepare to race. THRILLING BORIS was one of the slowest to begin but quickly changed ground to go back to the inside, led into the first bend and held that lead for the remainder of the race. OPAWA SHILOH was checked going into the first bend and she stayed back throughout the remainder of the race to finish in 2nd last place.
Race 5	KEENAN CONCRETE C2 - C2 - 305	DANDY STAR was the slowest to begin from box 8 and settled back. She began to improve around the outside but had to check off the heels of OPAWA LEIGH going into the bend, lost four lengths and was not able to make up the lost ground and finished in last place.
Race 6	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	KENNEL BOY was very slow to begin losing four lengths and he stayed well back throughout. OPAWA EXTREME and ALAMEIN JAH bumped together soon after the start and ALAMEIN JAH was the most affected and he settled back and stayed there throughout the race.
Race 7	The Sherminator C3 - C3 - 305	DOWNGRADE KING, EMPTY BANK, BRILLIANT ASHLEE and HANIFY ACE were all slow to begin and settled back. BRILLIANT ASHLEE recovered the best of the four and she finished in 3rd place. DOWNGRADE KING and HANIFY ACE were checked going into the bend and they both lost ground.
Race 8	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C3 - C3 - 305	VENGA GUAPA and BRILLIANT JAYLA bumped together and were briefly unbalanced soon after the start. INCREASING shifted in from the start and hampered ASTERIA for a short distance and she lost ground. ASTERIA then jostled with KINETIC ASSASIN for several strides and they were unbalanced losing ground.
Race 9	THE ROCK 95.2FM C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	WHO DAT BOY was awkwardly positioned going into the first bend and went back to be two lengths last. SMASH ALLEGRO was bumped by OUR GYPSY entering the final straight and was unbalanced losing ground. A short distance further on, WHO DAT BOY shifted out and bumped with LETS GO LETTIE when they were at the rear and they were both unbalanced.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	VITO BAXTER shifted in going into the bend and hampered EXPONENTIAL LILY and WHEELIE RASCAL and they lost momentum for a short distance. WILD EFFECTIVE shifted out in the final straight and bumped with RITZA ROMAN and they were a little unbalanced and lost momentum.
Race 11	AON CPF C4/5 - C4/5 - 305	FREEDOM FLYER and EFFECTIVE POWER bumped together when the start was made and they continued to make contact at the rear of the field as they raced to the first corner. EFFECTIVE POWER recovered the best of the two and finished in 4th place. FREEDOM FLYER shifted out on the home turn and bumped with WHEELIE CHILLIE when they were both at the rear of the field.
Race 12	BOOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C4 - C4 - 305	SECOND TIME was slow away from the boxes loosing three lengths. HIGH PERCENTAGE was awkwardly positioned in restricted room between runners going to the first corner and shifted out over the heels of NO TIME YET and was galloped on and checked by SECOND CHANCE. HIGH PERCENTAGE lost several lengths and finished in last place and was referred to the Vet for assessment and found to have pain in a hind triangle muscle. CAWBOURNE STEVE and ANOTHER MISS bumped together going into the bend and ANOTHER MISS was the most affected and she lost three lengths.
