Racing away from the start there was crowding from the outside runners as SNOWBALL CHANCE angled across onto WITCH MISTY who ran into the shoulder of DEATH STAR (fav) knocking this runner off balance for a stride or two. Several strides on CAWBOURNE ROWAN made contact with the shoulder of GULLY CRUSHER and stumbled slightly going back across the face of DEATH STAR and running into the side of BELFAST SMARTY turning this dog sideways for a stride or two. As the field raced into the first bend WITCH MISTY angled in onto the hind quarters of CAWBOURNE ROWAN pushing this dog across onto DEATH STAR who was severely crowded for room for some distance. DEATH STAR was unable to get back into contention thereafter finishing 7th. HOMEBUSH LUCIFER in behind these runners racing into the first bend was also hampered for some distance.

ALAMEIN DUKE dwelt at the start. In the run to the first turn HOMEBUSH OLIVE angled in across the line of FAIR CRUZIN who caught a heel and rolled over on to SPOT ON MAGGIE a couple of strides on SPOT ON MAGGIE moved pushing FAIR CRUZIN out on to the heels of HOMEBUSH OLIVE . Racing in to the first bend PREMIER PRINCE angled across the line of FAIR CRUZIN and HOMEBUSH OLIVE checking these runners where they lost several lengths back to the rear and were unable to get back in to contention there after.

Racing away from the start AZURE DREAMS and ALLEGRO ALL GO came together. AZURE DREAMS lost her footing in behind for a stride. ALLEGRO ALL GO then ran inwards sharply in to PIXIE DUST and MANGAMAHU JACK. Nearing the first bend ALLEGRO ALL GO ran in checking PIXIE DUST jostling and tightening this runner who was forced back in behind losing ground back to the rear and was unable to get back in to contention there after. INCREASING and ELITE DOSE ran wide in to and around the top bend.

Racing away from the start AZURE DREAMS and ALLEGRO ALL GO came together. AZURE DREAMS lost her footing in behind for a stride. EFFECTIVE POWER box 8 began awkwardly losing 5 or so lengths EFFECTIVE POWER recovered quickly in to stride to race up in to the body of the field finishing in 8th placing at the line. Racing in to the first bend ONE BROKE GIRL racing on the inner was severely tightened and checked inwards making contact with the rail for a stride. ONE BROKE GIRL recovered well to finish in to 4th placing at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found. AL'S GIRL racing near the lead across the top bend was checked going back several lengths as SPEEDY BEAT improved in to a gap between ALLEGRO CHASER and AL'S GIRL after striking trouble was unable to get back in to contention finishing in the rear at the line.

MISS MOHAWK was a late scratching on arrival to the track after the handler observed the dog to be lame. MISS MOHAWK was vetted and found to have pain on flexion of the toes at the sesamoid joint a 10 day stand down was imposed. Racing in to the first bend there was crowing and jostling as SECOND TIME raced up towards the lead angling inwards on to ASTERIA pushing this runner on to MANU RAMA and BRILLIANT ASHLEE . Racing in to the first bend there was tightening and jostling as ANOTHER CHARM moved in on to MISS ELDORA, DOWNGRADE KING and BRILLIANT JAYLA. DOWNGRADE KING soon after when improving in to the field was forced to angle outwards over the heels of RAPPER DASH forcing MISS ELDORA and ANOTHER CHARM to race wide on to the bend both dogs covered a fair amount of extra ground there after finishing in the rear at the line.

Racing into the bend on the first occasion Mc LOVIN' ran up onto the hind quarters of PACIFIC SUNRISE and was checked losing momentum slightly before recovering back into stride. Racing into the back straight Mc LOVIN appeared to go amiss running out and checking FILANTE who lost momentum. Both dogs never recovered back into contention finishing well back at the line. Mc LOVIN was making ground into the back straight when the dog appeared to lose stride and was uncomfortable in his galloping action, finishing towards the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment. In the run around the first bend ANOTHER HABIT racing on the inside was severely crowded inwards by HAWKESBURY FEVER going back a length resulting in CAWBOURNE OHIO running up the back of ANOTHER HABIT causing it to fall. As CAWBOURNE OHIO came off the back of ANOTHER HABIT he ran outwards sharply over the back of ALAMEIN JAH ,CAWBOURNE OHIO ran in to FILANTE resulting in PACIFIC SUNRISE being caught between them being severely checked and becoming unbalanced for several strides running to the outer track. PACIFIC SUNRISE recovered into stride to finish back in the field and was referred to the vet for assessment. ANOTHER HABIT , PACIFIC SUNRISE and ANOTHER HABIT were referred to the vet for assessment. PACIFIC SUNRISE was found to have no abnormalities. MC LOVIN' was found to have a suspected fracture to the right hock .MCLOVIN' has been referred on for further examination a 42 day stand down was recommended. ANOTHER HABIT was found to have pain in the right deep pectoral & right hind satorius muscle a 5 day stand down was recommended.

TONGARIRO box 1 was only fairly away racing midfield in to the bend where he was forced to check off the heels of JINJA COLL. TONGARIRO lost a couple of lengths back to the rear. Racing to the home turn TONGARIRO on the improve ran on to the heels of ANOTHER MISS as this runner moved outwards. TONGARIRO dipped going off stride drifting back finishing a margin in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet for assessment where no abnormalities were found.

Soon after the start SEDGEBROOK MAGIC and ALLEGRO TOUCH bumped , a couple of strides on FUNKY FREDDY angled across on to SEDGEBROOK MAGIC checking ALLEGRO TOUCH ( fav ) back from between them, SEDGEBROOK MAGIC and ALLEGRO TOUCH came together again jostling for some strides as SEDGEBROOK MAGIC attempted to get off the back of WHATU TRENDY. Racing in to the bend SEDGEBROOK MAGIC followed WHEELIE CHILLIE with ALLEGRO TOUCH running outwards on to the bend. ALLEGRO TOUCH finished on in to 4th placing at the line.
