| Race 1 | Super Pets Sprint - C3 - 295 | HARDEN FASTER (7) was last to jump. KRISTA BARISTA (3) ran inwards in the early stages placing GO POPPY (2) and COLLECTING MONEY (1) in restricted room. KRISTA BARISTA checked outwards into the bend after being denied a run to the inside of MULBERRY BROOK (8). KINGMAN (4) was tightened on the bend and lost ground after GO POPPY had angled outwards. KRISTA BARISTA and TILT (6) both raced wide around the home turn. |
| Race 2 | Cheviot Trust Hotel Dash - C3 - 295 | GOLDSTAR BOMBER (6) and KNOW CHEERS (7) were both relegated to the rear in the back straight after COSTING MONEY (8) had run inwards. MANDI MAE (2) ran outwards soon after tightening SKETCHY STEVE (4) and WUNZEE (5). STARBURST EMMA (3) was badly dragged down into the bend losing ground with COSTING MONEY and KNOW CHEERS being forced very wide as a result. SUPER BAD (1) ran outwards on the home turn checking SKETCHY STEVE for a stride. STARBURST EMMA was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injury. |
| Race 3 | Thursday Place Pick Dash - C3/4 - 295 | KNOW MAGIC (4) ran inwards at the end of the back straight checking CHIPPA LATA (1). RAND (5) was tightened into the bend and lost ground with OPAWA COLIN (7) and HOMEBUSH GRU (8) both forced wide around this runner. CHIPPA LATA raced in restricted room on the turn when angling off the heels of KNOW MAGIC and improving to the inside of RAND. OPAWA COLIN ran wide in the home straight. |
| Race 4 | I Pave Concrete Sprint - C3 - 295 | GOOD GENES (5) ran inwards in the early stages checking kennelmate ROADWORKS (4). Closer in ROYAL ACTION (2) was tightened losing ground. GOOD GENES continued to angle inwards into the bend with CAR BOOTLE (1), ROYAL ACTION, KNOW LAPSE (3) and ROADWORKS all being inconvenienced. ROADWORKS and GOOD GENES were both checked and cleared by the vet post race. |
| Race 5 | Hampden Tavern Stakes - C3 - 520 | WILLIS (2) was last to jump. CAWBOURNE WAR (5) ran sharply inwards on dispatch with KNOW MAYHEM (4) receiving a check and losing ground. LUMINARY (3) ran outwards on the first turn pushing KNOW MAYHEM wider on the track. WILLIS raced wide in the home straight. Trainer C Roberts advised Stewards that CAWBOURNE WAR has been retired from racing. |
| Race 6 | Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C3/4 - 295 | MAUDIE'S BABE (2) angled outwards into the bend pushing HARKONEN BALE (8) and OPAWA LEAN MEAT (4) wider on the track. HOMEBUSH PAIGE (3) was held up for clear room on the turn and was forced to angle wide to obtain a run. This caused MAUDIE'S BABE to race wider on the track. SMASH RUMOUR (1) ran outwards in the home straight hampering HARKONEN BALE for a stride. |
| Race 7 | Active Electrical Christchurch Stakes - C3 - 520 | JON SNOW LIVES (4) and KNOW WORTH (6) were the last pair on jumping. In the run to the first bend KNOW SCHOLAR (8) ran inwards checking KNOW WORTH. Into the first bend JINJA JAFFA (3) checked outwards off the hind quarters of KINLOCH POWER (5) with JON SNOW LIVES receiving a check and KNOW WORTH being sent wider on the track. KINLOCH POWER checked outwards off heels soon after pushing KNOW SCHOLAR wider. BIRCHBROOK (7) dropped out in the run home and was referred to the vet for assessment. BIRCHBROOK was found to have tied up with no stand down deemed necessary. |
| Race 8 | Flair Dash - C3/4 - 295 | GREET THE JUDGE (4) was tightened into the bend and lost ground after JINJA BILLY (5) had run inwards. JINJA BILLY was turned sideways for a stride in this incident. OPAWA OPAL (8) was checked on the bend as MUST DESIRE (6) improved to its inside and shifted up the track. OPAWA OPAL dropped to the rear and was referred to the vet for assessment where it was cleared of any abnormality. MUST DESIRE raced wide around the home turn. |
| Race 9 | Christchurch Casino Stakes - C4/5 - 520 | BENJAMIN BLACK (2) and CAWBOURNE KRISTY (8) were the last pair on jumping. KAVA BLU (3) and BREAKING MAD (4) collided in the early stages. BREAKING MAD angled outwards into the first bend causing BOSTON BILLY (5) to be tightened and lose ground. CAN'T CATCH TIM (9/6) was forced wide at this stage. At the end of the back straight KAVA BLU (3) checked outwards off the heels of RED MARGIN (1) and lost momentum. BREAKING MAD ran wide around the home turn. |
| Race 10 | Shirley Vet Clinic Sprint - C5 - 295 | SMASH THAT (9/7) dropped to the rear in the early stages. JEWEL ACTION (4) and CULVIE GODFATHER (5) lost ground in the back straight after ABOUT TOWN (6) had crossed down the track. SMASH THAT checked off heels into the bend losing momentum for a stride. SMASH THAT and CULVIE GODFATHER ran wide in the home straight. |
| Race 11 | Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C5 - 295 | ARBRE CHENE (3) and DREAM LARGE (4) were the last pair on jumping. TINA (6) lost ground in the back straight after BARNICLE BULLET (7) had run inwards. BARNICLE BULLET and CAPTAIN SHAZZ (1) collided in the back straight with TINA again being checked. AIDEN BAXTER (2) ran outwards into the bend checking DREAM LARGE and PAPERBOND (9/5). CAPTAIN SHAZZ ran outwards into the bend checking TINA which lost momentum. ARBRE CHENE and TINA collided on the home turn. AIDEN BAXTER ran very wide on the home turn when at the rear. ARBRE CHENE raced wide in the home straight. AIDEN BAXTER, DREAM LARGE and TINA were all referred to the vet and all cleared of injury. |
