| Race 1 | Super Pets Dash - C0 - 295 | DREAM PROJECT (8) was very slow to jump with BOTANY VIKKI (3) and MISCHIEF MANAGED (5) also settling well back. NARITI (6) ran wide on the bend. DREAM PROJECT ran off in the home straight finishing on the harness track. DREAM PROJECT was referred to the vet for assessment and found to have a sesamoid injury and a dislocated toe. Co-trainer S Fagan was advised that DREAM PROJECT must complete a satisfactory trial before resuming. |
| Race 2 | DogZone Sprint - C0 - 295 | HOMEBUSH FLAME (7) was a late scratching at kenneling with sore metacarpals. GOLDSTAR DELTA (4) was very slow to jump. HOLLY BLUE BLOOD (5) ran inwards in the early stages checking HILTON CUST (3) and ODIN SLAYER (2). HOLLY BAD BLOOD ran inwards into the bend severely checking HILTON CUST with ODIN SLAYER again inconvenienced. In behind GOLDSTAR DELTA was unable to avoid the checked runners and was badly checked. HILTON CUST, GOLDSTAR DELTA and HOLLY BLUE BLOOD were all referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of injuries. |
| Race 3 | Greyhounds As Pets Dash - C2 - 295 | HARDEN FASTER (2) ran outwards in the early stages checking SMOKING MARLEY (3) which dropped to the rear. HARSESIS (4) ran inwards into the bend checking HARDEN FASTER with CHICAGO BLACK (6) also inconvenienced for a stride. SMOKING MARLEY raced wide around the bend. On the home turn PAUA SHOT (7) angled inwards checking EBONY FANCY (1) which then ran outwards pushing OHOKA HOPE (8) wider on the track. |
| Race 4 | Coalgate Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520 | GOLDSTAR JUNIOR (6) brushed together with OPAWA PEACHES (7) in the initial stages and dropped to the rear. PRIVATE ACTION (8) and CAWBOURNE WEB (5) were both forced wide around the first bend after PATTY'S PICK (9/4) had marginally angled outwards when improving to their inside. OPAWA STELLA (2) was tightened and lost ground on the home turn |
| Race 5 | Fast Archer At Stud Sprint - C2 - 295 | ZORBA THE GREEK (7) was a clear last on jumping. THESEUS (4) ran outwards in the back straight checking BADUZZI (5) and OHOKA COBY (6). This pair again came together at the end of the back straight. THESEUS continued to track wide around the bend causing some inconvenience to KNOW SALUTE (8). |
| Race 6 | Jinjarango At Stud Stakes - C1 - 520 | GOLDSTAR JAGGER (6) was a clear last at the jump. BIG JOHN CANON (9/4) and BRISEUR DE REVES (2) came together in the run to the first bend. INFERNAL MAJESTY (5) and CAWBOURNE MIAMI (7) ran wide around the first bend. BRISEUR DE REVES raced wide in the back straight. GOLDSTAR SCOOTER (1) was tightened on the home turn as OPAWA SMOKE (8) angled down the track. |
| Race 7 | Hampden Tavern Dash - C2 - 295 | SWEET MARYLOU (2) escaped from the handler when being strapped prior to the race and and ran to the lure. As a result SWEET MARYLOU was scratched by direction of Stewards. KNOW CONTEST (3) and JIMMY HAMMER (9/6) were the last pair on jumping. SAL'S BABE (1) and HOMEBUSH FINE (4) came together into the bend and lost ground with the trailing KNOW CONTEST held up in consequence. JIMMY HAMMER ran wide around the home turn. |
| Race 8 | Clarkson Sign Studiio Sprint - C2 - 295 | FLIBERTY JIBERTY (4) was tightened in the back straight and lost ground. BROOKE DAVIS (5) ran inwards in the back straight coming together with THUNDER STORM (3). Into the bend COSMIC CHELSEA (8) angled inwards causing pressure to be placed on MISS VALLEY INN (7) which in turn got on the heels of BROOKE DAVIS for a few strides. As a result MISS VALLEY INN and COSMIC CHELSEA were badly checked and dropped out and both dogs were referred to the vet for assessment. MISS VALLEY INN was found to have elbow pain with a 21 day stand down recommended. |
| Race 9 | Robbie's Bar & Bistro Stakes - C2 - 520 | KNOW NEGLECT (8) was last to jump. TAMARA MAY (2) and OPAWA ROCKY (5) were tightened in the run to the first bend. LAGOON TWIST (6) and VERNON BALE (7) were both forced wide around the first bend with VERNON BALE becoming unbalanced at this stage. Soon after VERNON BALE faltered and failed to finish the race with a post race veterinary check revealing a fractured hock. Following this race an inspection of the track took place at the area that VERNON BALE broke down with the track appearing to be in good order with the readings well within the acceptable limits. |
| Race 10 | Business Time At Stud Dash - C3 - 295 | OPAWA CRUSADE (5) was tightened into the bend as HOMEBUSH RUFUS (4) angled outwards. TERRA MONDO (3) ran outwards into the bend causing MAGIC MIKE (8) to stumble and lose ground with OPAWA CRUSADE also losing momentum. AIR EXPRESS (1) had its heels clipped by ROYAL ACTION (6) on the bend and ran outwards. MAGIC MIKE was checked and cleared by the vet post race. |
| Race 11 | Active Electrical Christchurch Sprint - C3 - 295 | HOMEBUSH ERROL (7) was tightened into the bend and dropped to the rear. On the bend the pacemaking MANDI MAE (6) was dragged down for a stride losing momentum. SPEEDY DISPATCH (1) then raced wide pushing HOMEBUSH ROCKY (4) wider on the track. On the home turn HOMEBUSH ROCKY ran back down the track checking NORMAN JEWEL (5) which lost ground. MANDI MAE and SPEEDY DISPATCH both raced wide in the home straight. MANDI MAE was checked and cleared by the vet post race. |
| Race 12 | Livamol Dash - C4 - 295 | OPAWA OPAL (6) and CHOKEHOLD (7) came together in the early stages with RAND (5) running outwards and receiving a check when contacting this pair. HOMEBUSH GRU (8) ran inwards into the bend coming together with OPAWA LEAN MEAT (3) and lost momentum with RAND forced wide. |
