Race 1	The Waiuku Golf Club $20 Fridays Sprint - C1 - 318	MALIGNED (7) was checked shortly after jumping when TEPIRITA AVEDON (8) shifted in and BOTANY BEV (6) shifted out, with the latter two runners then coming together and jostling for some strides on several occasions over the early stages. BOTANY BEV raced wide on the final turn and run home.
Race 2	The Ton Club Sprint - C0 - 318	SCOTT THE LOOT (8) was a late scratching at 1.05pm under Rule 64.11 when found to be in season with a 28 day stand down imposed. SHAZZA'S BOY (4) was slow to jump and was a clear last on settling. TINA GREY (7) shifted in shortly after the start hampering MINUTE SIXTEEN (9 - Box 6) for several strides. SHAZZA'S BOY lost ground on the first turn when having to check off the hindquarters of MINUTE SIXTEEN, which shifted in.
Race 3	"Waiuku Mitre10 Easy As" Sprint - C1 - 527	ROMAN ACTION (6) and PREOCCUPIED (7) came together briefly shortly after the start. CHATEAU NEUF (4) was turned sideways entering the first turn after making contact with ROMAN ACTION hampering PREOCCUPIED, which then lost ground when having to check off the heels of LOCHINVAR MAINE which shifted in. An investigation was held into an incident entering the back straight where ZIPPING DEE (leader) appeared to ease for a stride just prior to LOVELY RITA improving to its outside. After hearing evidence from Trainer D Schofield and viewing the replay, Stewards exercised discretion by giving the connections of ZIPPING DEE the benefit of the doubt however Mr Schofield was advised that ZIPPING DEE's future racing would be closely monitored.
Race 4	Love u Mum & Happy Bday Sprint - C4 - 318	CYCLONE LUSI (2) shifted out on jumping and forced FRESCO STAR (3) out onto MISS VELOCETTE (4). CYCLONE LUSI and MISS VELOETTE then came together for several strides shortly after. FRESCO STAR was checked and fell approaching the home turn when LUCKY MAN (8) shifted inwards. FRESCO STAR underwent a post race veterinary examination which revealed no abnormality. MISS VELOCETTE was also referred to the Vet for assessment after being galloped on when finishing on the lure which detected a strained near hind calf muscle with a 10 day stand down imposed.
Race 5	Taniwha Sprint - C2/3 - 318	ZAFONIC SOUND (4) and PEACOCK PRINCESS (5) came together for a stride after jumping. ZAFONIC SOUND had to check off the heels of SANDOR GLEGANE (8) entering the first turn. PEACOCK PRINCESS shifted out in the run home hampering CALAMITY FREE (3), which had to change ground to the inside.
Race 6	NZ Racing Series Novice Heat 1 - NZRSq - 527 Heat 1	BILL RUSH (1) and ROCKY MCAWESOME (4) were slow to jump. WEE PING WAWA (7) and MARIAH (6) made contact shortly after jumping and then again early. JINJA MIA (5) and MARIAH came together entering the first turn with ROCKY MCAWESOME having to check off the heels of MARIAH before shifting out checking WEE PING WAWA for several strides with both runners losing ground.
Race 7	NZ Racing Series Novice Heat 2 - NZRSq - 527 Heat 2	MADSTONE (7) was checked and lost a length entering the first turn when racing between CORUBA CATE (3) and SCOTT SOME TICKA (8). CORUBA CATE then shifted out off the heels of SCOTT THE LOOKS (4) and made solid contact with SCOTT SOME TICKA (8), with both runners losing ground. ALAMEIN JUDE (5) shifted out off the back of BLOO BLOOMERS (1) on entering the home straight checking SCOTT THE LOOKS.
Race 8	The Robbie's Classic Stakes - C2 - 527	GRADER JACK (8) was slow early and trailed the field throughout. APRIL'S MY MUM (4) shifted out entering the first turn forcing PERCENTAGE GIRL (3) out onto THRILLING RIOT (7), with CRYING IN VEGAS (6) being checked losing ground when getting onto the back of PERCENTAGE GIRL.
Race 9	Chopper & Goose True Troopers Sprint - C2 - 318	AGENT SCHRADER (6) was slow to jump. COOKIE MONSTER (4) and PRAIRIE KACHINA (1) came together approaching the first turn with PRAIRIE KACHINA then losing ground when having to check off the heels of both COOKIE MONSTER and ROTOVEGAS SPARKY (7).
Race 10	CooksWhitianga@bookabach 35063 Sprint - C2/3 - 318	BIG JAMESY (1) was a late scratching at 11.27am on Veterinary advice with a 42 day stand down imposed. SPOTTED FLYER (5) shifted out on jumping checking BELCROFT BANKER (6) for several strides.
Race 11	Batesy & Muzza Waiuku Top Dog Champs Sprint - C4f - 318	EXPONENTIAL LILY (2) shifted out shortly after the start hampering GOOD RETURN (3) briefly, before jostling with PAT NOT PLAIT (4) and ROCKIN' FANCY (5) for some distance. MIA ZORRA (6) and GOOD RETURN came together entering the first turn when held up for clear running. PAT NOT PLAIT was checked and lost ground on the first turn when racing to the outside of EXPONENTIAL LILY which shifted out.
Race 12	Mangonui Hotei Sprint - C5 - 318	YEBOAH (4) shifted out soon after the start contacting UMAGA RAMA (6) which was forced out onto SPEED LORDE (7) for several strides. WILD EFFECTIVE (5) and NANGAR STAR (3) came together briefly on straightening for the run home.
Race 13	Gus Logie Classic Sprint - C1 - 318	LE ROI (2), JUST ABOUT READY (3) and MORE SALT NEEDED (4) came together briefly shortly after the start. JUST ABOUT READY had to check off the heels of MORE SALT NEEDED entering the first turn. LE ROI shifted out on the turn forcing OPAWA UNO (7) out onto WILD FALCON (8) and JUMP ON IT (6) which were all checked losing ground. WILD FALCON and JUMP ON IT then raced wide.
Race 14	Jack's Wholesale Meats Sprint - C1 - 318	NADEZA (3) went up with the lids losing considerable ground. SPEARMINT JUJU (2) shifted out shortly after jumping contacting RASSO (4) for several strides. RASSO and SPRITE ON TIME (5) came together over the early stages, as did JETSUN STORM (9 - Box 7) and SCOTT MY MONEY (6) approaching the first turn. JETSUN STORM was badly checked entering the turn when galloping onto the hindquarters of SPRITE ON TIME, which was turned sideways. JETSUN STORM was referred to the Vet for assessment which revealed no abnormality.
