Race 1	Super Pets Feature - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH FLAME (5) was a touch slow to begin. BOTANY VIKKI (8) ran inwards checking REALITY (7) and CELTIC WARRIOR (6) in the initial stages. Into the bend HOMEBUSH FLAME checked outwards off the heels of BOTANY VIKKI with REALITY pushed very wide in consequence. UNO AGAIN (1) ran outwards into the bend checking BOTANY VIKKI which lost ground and inconvenienced CELTIC WARRIOR which was tightened along the rail. Due to being entered for races tomorrow HOLLY BLUE BLOOD (2), HOMEBUSH FLAME and BOTANY VIKKI were all referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormalities.
Race 2	Zebidiah At Stud Feature - C0 - 520	HELLS A COMING (8) was last from the traps. GOLDSTAR DALLAS (4) and NOZZNO FEAR (5) came together in the early stages with this pair then both receiving checks as OPAWA FAITH (6) ran inwards and collided with them soon after. GOLDSTAR DALLAS then came together with HOMEBUSH FITZROY (3) which lost momentum. Into the first bend AMINO TROUBLE (7) checked off heels and lost ground. GOLDSTAR DALLAS receiving a check at this stage when racing in tight quarters and lost ground. OPAWA FAITH and HELLS A COMING were both forced wide as a result of AMINO TROUBLE losing ground. HOMEBUSH FITZROY dropped out in the home straight with a post race veterinary check revealing no apparent abnormalities.
Race 3	Thursday Place Pick Feature - C1 - 295	EXTRA CREDIT (3), BIG CATCH (4), CHIPPY JORDY (5) and SPEEDY RETURN (6) were all a touch slow to jump. BIG CATCH, CHIPPY JORDY and SPEEDY RETURN all came together in the back straight when racing at the rear. Into the bend CUPCAKE (1) was tightened and lost ground. JINJA BRIAN (7) was tightened on the bend when racing between BARCIA EXPRESS (2) and ADRENALIN KICK (8). As a result the trailing CUPCAKE and EXTRA CREDIT were both forced wide. On the home turn SPEEDY RETURN angled a touch wider hampering CUPCAKE for a stride with this runner contacting the hind quarters of her sister EXTRA CREDIT.
Race 4	Carol's T.A.B. Feature - C1 - 520	OPAWA GAIL (5) and HOMEBUSH BUCK (8) were the last pair on settling. JEWEL EAGLE (4) was checked in the run to the first bend as ESTER ACTION (6) ran inwards. OPAWA GAIL angled outwards into the first bend pushing HOMEBUSH BUCK wider on the track. JEWEL EAGLE checked outwards off heels on the home turn losing a length. On the home turn CAWBOURNE KENNY (3) checked outwards off the hind quarters of ESTER ACTION with OPAWA GAIL being pushed wider on the track. ESTER ACTION lost momentum as a result of this incident. Due to having an engagement tomorrow JEWEL EAGLE was referred to the vet for assessment where no injury was detected.
Race 5	Garden City Chem-Dry Feature - C2 - 295	ROYAL BASH (6) was last to jump. WICKED WINSTON (7) ran inwards on dispatch contacting TIME SLAYER (5) for a stride. HOMEBUSH SLINKY (4) was tightened into the bend and lost ground. On the bend WICKED WINSTON checked outwards off the heels of YOU'RE THE BEST (8) pushing kennelmate ROYAL BASH wider on the track. FIERY FAGAN (3) received a check on the home turn after TIME SLAYER had briefly angled outwards. Due to having engagements tomorrow THUNDER STORM (1) and HOMEBUSH SLINKY were referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormalities.
Race 6	I Pave Concrete Feature - C2 - 520	GOLDSTAR COCO (2) and JON SNOW LIVES (7) were the last pair on jumping. WHIP UPPA STORM (1) was tightened and lost ground into the first bend as CAWBOURNE PATTY (3) crossed to the rail. WHIP UPPA STORM then shifted outwards causing a severe check to OPAWA MINSTREL (6) which stumbled and lost its chance. OPAWA MINSTREL was checked and cleared by the vet post race. JON SNOW LIVES raced wide in the back straight.
Race 7	David Emerson Consultancy Feature - C3 - 295	TIMELY REMINDER (8) was last to jump. STARBURST EMMA (2) ran outwards in the back straight resulting in TILT (4) receiving a check and losing ground. STARBURST EMMA ran outwards on the home turn pushing MULBERRY BROOK (6) wider on the track. Due to being engaged tomorrow AIR EXPRESS (7) was referred to the vet for assessment and cleared of any abnormalities.
Race 8	Kolorful Kanvas Feature - C3 - 520	The sisters KNOW WORTH (5) and KNOW STYLE (7) collided in the early stages. NINA BAXTER (9/4) ran inwards into the first bend and checked LONG STOCKINGS (3) with this pair losing ground and dropping to the rear. KNOW STYLE was dragged down for a stride in this incident. KNOW WORTH raced wide around the first bend and continued to cover extra ground for the remainder of the race. KINLOCH POWER (6) shifted marginally outwards on the home bend causing slight inconvenience to KNOW STYLE which lost some momentum.
Race 9	Christchurch Casino Feature - C4 - 295	MAUDIE'S BABE (7) was last to jump. GET READY FREDDY (6) ran inwards in the back straight making solid contact with SKETCHY STEVE (4). OPAWA COLIN (8) remained wide on the track in the back straight. MAUDIE'S BABE was checked into the bend as OPAWA COLIN eventually shifted down the track. GET READY FREDDY was held up on the turn after getting on heels. HOMEBUSH PAIGE (3) and kennelmate OM NOM NOM (5) brushed together briefly on the home turn.
Race 10	Mac Developments Feature - C4 - 520	OPAWA VAL (8) ran wide around the first bend. On the first bend FEKITOA (6) checked off the heels of MYSTIC ACTION (4) and lost ground.
Race 11	Chris & Lisa Earl Feature - C5 - 295	DYNA QUIRK (6) and KERAMUS (8) were the last pair on settling. OHOKA BILLY (7) was checked and ran outwards into the bend dropping to the rear. ABOUT TOWN (5) was checked and turned sideways for a stride on the bend when running inwards and contacting DYNA QUIRK which was improving to its inside. ABOUT TOWN was checked and cleared by the vet post race. RICK'S TREASURE (3) was also hampered in this incident. DYNA QUIRK ran outwards on the home turn briefly hampering ABOUT TOWN. Following the race the winner MOJO BURST (4) was referred to the vet for assessment after an incident at the lure and found to have a fractured wrist.
Race 12	Protexin Feature - C5 - 295	TECHNIC (7) was last to jump. DREAM LARGE (3) shifted outwards in the early stages contacting SMASH RUMOUR (4). DREAM LARGE was tightened into the bend and lost ground. On the home turn GRIFINATOR (6) angled outwards coming together on two occasions with TINA (8) which was checked and lost ground. GRIFINATOR became badly unbalanced as a result and continued to run outwards running off the track with about 40 metres to run. GRIFINATOR and DREAM LARGE were referred to the vet for assessment with GRIFINATOR found to have received a laceration to its right hind leg with sutures required.
