| Race 1 | Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C0 - 375 | DRUNKEN LADY (3) was slow away. HIGHWAY HOUND (5) shifted in leaving the boxes inconveniencing BOOKIES PARADISE (9), DRUNKEN LADY and JUMP UP (2) with BOOKIES PARADISE and HIGHWAY HOUND losing ground. SEMI AUTOMATIC (1) lost ground when in restricted room racing toward the first turn inconveniencing HIGHWAY HOUND, BOOKIES PARADISE and DRUNKEN LADY. JUMP UP had to steady off the heels of SCOTT TIED UP (7) rounding the bend shifting out slightly inconveniencing FANTASTIC RICKI (6) with these runners losing momentum. As a result MR. FUSS POT (8) improved onto the heels of JUMP UP having to steady. DRUNKEN LADY shifted wide rounding the final bend inconveniencing BOOKIES PARADISE with these runners losing ground. |
| Race 2 | The Clubhouse Sports Bar Sprint - C1 - 375 | THAT ICE COLD (1) was slow away. SNAPCHAT (7) and KIT AND CABOODLE (8) came together leaving the boxes. DIVA POSE (5) shifted in soon after the start inconveniencing OPAWA LARRY (9) who made contact with the hindquarters of this runner losing ground. DIVA POSE then continued to shift in racing into the first turn taking JUST ABOUT READY (3) in onto the heels of ZALIA (2). Entering the first turn SNAPCHAT (7) angled in dictating PREOCCUPIED (6) in onto DIVA POSE who was hampered losing ground going back onto THAT ICE COLD who had to steady. Also inconvenienced as a result were ZALIA and JUST ABOUT READY who were both tightened. OPAWA LARRY and JUST ABOUT READY came together entering the final straight. |
| Race 3 | DogZone Sprint - C2 - 375 | MULTI CHASER (2) and AGENT SCHRADER (3) came together leaving the boxes. WINSOME DAN (5) and LADY JANE (6) made contact leaving the boxes with LADY JANE then shifting out making contact with SPOTTED FLYER (7) who came together with CRYING IN VEGAS (8) with these three runners then jostling for several strides with LADY JANE and SPOTTED FLYER losing ground. As a result LADY JANE made contact with the hindquarters of WINSOME DAN who was taken in onto the hindquarters of SPINAL (4) with WINSOME DAN then losing ground. Contributing was inward movement from CRYING IN VEGAS. Entering the first turn WINSOME DAN was tightened onto the hindquarters of THRILLING FOREST (1) with WINSOME DAN losing considerable ground inconveniencing LADY JANE. SPINAL and CRYING IN VEGAS came together rounding the bend with these runners losing ground. |
| Race 4 | Kevin Dysart Stakes - C1 - 457 | MEAN AS MENA (1) was last to leave the boxes. Soon after leaving the boxes ROMAN ACTION (4), APRIL'S MY MUM (5) and DECEPTIVE LAD (6) came together with these runners then further inconvenienced when TYRION (7) and THRILLING CASSIE (8) shifted in with these runners all coming together, APRIL'S MY MUM losing ground. As a result ROMAN ACTION shifted in making contact with DYLANS A VILLAN (3) with THRILLING CASSIE then continuing to shift in taking DECEPTIVE LAD in onto ROMAN ACTION who became badly unbalanced and fell. ROMAN ACTION regained its footing to finish the race some distance from the field with a post race veterinary examination revealing no abnormality. |
| Race 5 | Palamountains Nutrition Sprint - C4 - 375 | ATOONGA AIR (5) was slow away. LUCKY MAN (3), LITTLE DREAMS (4), SOMETIME SOON (6) and ROCKIN' FANCY (8) came together entering the first turn with these runners all losing momentum, SOMETIME SOON and ROCKIN' FANCY losing ground. |
| Race 6 | Phil Courtney Sprint - C1 - 375 | JUMP ON IT (1), JACK MCCOY (6) and BILL RUSH (7) were last to leave the boxes. SKINNY ANKLES (4) and SIMPLY SAM (5) came together soon after the start with SIMPLY SAM then making contact with JACK MCCOY with these runners unbalanced, SKINNY ANKLES losing ground. Entering the first turn JUMP ON IT was tightened making contact with the hindquarters of SIMPLY SAM losing ground. SIMPLY SAM became awkwardly placed on the heels of WHAT'S UP WATTO rounding the bend having to steady. Rounding the final bend JACK MCCOY made contact with the hindquarters of WHAT'S UP WATTO for several strides when improving to the inside of this runner. A post race veterinary examination of SKINNY ANKLES revealed no abnormality. JACK MCCOY was examined by the veterinarian following this event with pain in the right fore detected and a 10 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 7 | Fond Foods Ltd Sprint - C3 - 375 | After proving difficult to load ROTOVEGAS RARA will now be boxed away first for its immediate future racing. JINJA LUCA (4) and GRADER JACK (7) were last to leave the boxes. JINJA FANTASY (8) shifted in leaving the boxes inconveniencing GRADER JACK. SKYLER WHITE was inconvenienced losing ground soon after the start when tightened between ROTOVEGAS RARA and SPRINGVALE HARRY (3) who then came together with SKYLER WHITE going back onto JINJA LUCA with these runners then coming together. Racing toward the first turn SPRINGVALE HARRY shifted in into the line of CAWBOURNE WALES (2) who was inconvenienced. Entering the first turn SPRINGVALE HARRY became awkwardly placed shifting out slightly contacting the heels of ROTOVEGAS RARA with these runners unbalanced losing ground. Rounding the first turn SKYLER WHITE shifted in tightening CAWBOURNE WALES who was checked losing ground. Rounding the bend SACRED CAN YOU (1) made contact with the hindquarters of SPRINGVALE HARRY who was briefly unbalanced shifting out ROTOVEGAS RARA lost ground rounding the bend. ROTOVEGAS RARA was referred to the veterinarian following this event with an injury to a left hind toe detected and a 42 day stand down imposed. |
| Race 8 | Box1 Gold Sprint - C2 - 375 | SCOTT NO VALUE (3), ROTOVEGAS SPARKY (7) and THRILLING CARTER (8) were last to leave the boxes. SIMPLY YETI (1) and SPEARMINT JUJU (2) made brief contact leaving the boxes. RASSO (9) was inconvenienced soon after the start when CHATEAU NEUF (6) shifted in with RASSO then further hampered when ROTOVEGAS SPARKY shifted in making contact with this runner. As a result RASSO lost ground going back making contact with SCOTT NO VALUE. MOCKINGJAY (4) shifted in racing down the back straight tightening SCOTT NO VALUE who lost ground. MOCKINGJAY then came together with SPEARMINT JUJU with these runners then further hampered losing ground when CHATEAU NEUF shifted in making contact with these runners. Entering the first turn SPEARMINT JUJU was tightened to the inside of CHATEAU NEUF shifting out off this runners heels hampering SCOTT NO VALUE who was checked losing ground. |
